Summer is almost over, there's no denying it. But before you hang up your shorts and sandals, we want you to pack your bags and get ready—we're daring you to do something wild.
For September's #JustWriteIt, we're inviting all of Wattpad to take part in this writing challenge, no matter what genre or style you choose. We want you to send summer out with a bang by taking us with you on one last incredible (terrifying? epic? magical? tragic?) adventure.
What kind of adventure, you ask? That's completely up to you.
It all starts out with a mysterious phone call which sets off a series of adventurous events. Will it be the start of a new murder investigation, a political conspiracy or maybe a series of breadcrumbs your hero has to follow? The sky is your limit as long as you keep us on the edge of our seats.
It's not so much what you write about, all that matters is that you give it everything you've got. Because when you really think about it—writing is a pretty epic adventure in and of itself.
So gather your courage, grab your gear (or at least your laptop or tablet) and let's get this saga started. Just make sure to tag your story #JustWriteIt and #AdventureEdition so others can find it.

A special day has come, a day that Earth has awaited for oh so long. The day where they are finally going to try and run the reactor. This had been long-awaited and everyone dropped off their kids with a hint of dread. Hoping that nothing would go wrong, we know it did. Since else there would not be a story. I won't go into too much detail, but only simply explain what happened. Due to some malfunctioning and incorrect assumptions, the reactor overproduced energy. Something which should have been impossible according to all the known knowledge of a really advanced Earth. I mean, they have even started colonizing planets. Have done countless simulations and even built test stations in space. Yet now, something had gone when they did the same on earth. Bizarre, right? This malfunctioning and imploding of the reactor caused a massive explosion due to the instability of space itself. This is also what allowed the story to exist, as our main characters were all transported. The method is not known, nor why they survived. We can say it is for the story, for now... They all now find themselves on Ethos, eating a mouthful of dirt as they struggled for breath. Some find their situation horrible, others find it relaxing and peaceful. Some see death, others see life. Despair and hope, madness and sanity on an edge. What has fate given you?
