Your story should be inspired by one of the quotes provided . You must include it in an original way, adapting it to your narrative. The phrase should not appear verbatim. It is meant to be a guide for your story, setting the overall mood and tone for it.
The phrase must appear as an epigraph in the beginning of your story, to let the judges know where you drew inspiration from. The epigraph will not be considered part of the word count.
