《Falling For You {Kita Shinsuke}》{Chapter 20 : The Visit}

The final exams were over, the holidays starting once again before the new school year began. I decided to go and visit my grandmother in Miyagi like I do every year. But decided that I'll explore Tokyo for a while before visiting.
I hope I can see Shōyō again...
I walked around a quiet neighbourhood for a while until I saw a young boy with slightly long dyed blonde hair, playing video games on a bench.
He had a red school tracksuit on that had 'Nekoma' imprinted on the back.
He kind of looks familiar...
I thought, walking closer to the boy.
"Hm? Kenma?" I called out, tilting my head.
He looked up, his eyes widening in recognition as he put away his device.
"Hana? What are you doing in Tokyo?" Kenma asked, standing up and walking closer to me.
"Taking a break from life" I joked, looking at his volleyball tracksuit.
"Don't yer have volleyball practice or something?"
Kenma gulped and looked away, avoiding my eyes.
"C'mon I'll walk yer to practice..." I offered, sighing at his choices.
Kenma and I walked while catching up with each other, talking about our teammates, volleyball and random topics.
"KKYYYEENNNMAAAAA!!!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!!!!!!" a boy with a blonde mohawk shouted.
Kenma visibly cringed at the loud noise.
Arara....this isn't good...
I chuckled, patting his back in reassurance.
"I'll be watching from the sides, Kenma" I told him softly.
He nodded in response while walking towards the boy, taking off his jacket and wrapping his device around it to keep it safe.
Some things never change...
I noticed the coach and smiled, waving while walking towards him.
"Sensei, its been a while" I cheerfully greeted, bowing politely.
"It has, I heard that your team won the Interhighs and placed second at Nationals last year" Nekomata replied equally cheerful.
"Ah yes..."
I watched and chatted with Coach Nekomata while waiting for Kenma to finish packing up and change.
"Let's go, Hana" Kenma called out, tiredly.
I nodded and said goodbye to the old coach.
As we were walking out a voice calls out.
"Oi Kenma!!!"
I turn to see the team, walking towards us, waving and smiling.
"Oya? Hana?" a certain rooster head says.
"Hey Tetsurō" I waved, smiling at him.
"Long time no see, I see your still as beautiful as I remember, maybe even more" he flirted.
I rolled my eyes, punching his shoulder.
He laughed before remembering something.
"Oh, I have someone that would like to meet ya, you've probably seen him before at the training camp last year but he was just too shy to talk to you" he grinned before going to a short boy and dragging him over to me.
"H-hey, stop that Kuroo!!!" the brunette shouted.
"I'm just helping a dear friend of mine" Kuroo commented before smirking.
I chuckled, gaining his attention.
"Hello there, Miya Hana, pleasure to meet ya" I greeted, putting my hand out.
"H-hi, Y-Yaku Morisuke, the pleasure is all m-mine" he stuttered out, shaking my hand nervously.
"Ah I remember ya, the skilled Libero, who could forget a good player like ya?" I added after we let go of our hands.

"S-skilled? Me?" Yaku stuttered.
I chuckled and pat his shoulder.
"There's no need to be nervous, Yaku-san" I reassured him, smiling gently.
He nodded in reply and took out a 'Volleyball Monthly' magazine and a marker out of his bag.
"M-may I please have your autograph, Miya-san?" he asked, a light blush covering his cheeks.
"Of course" I replied, happily signing the magazine.
The magazine had a picture of me serving during the Nationals competition, with the headline. "Best Server of the Year, Miya Hana of Inarizaki" and "The Guardian Fox of Inarizaki"
I chuckled at the memory before handing the magazine back to Yaku as he admired the autograph before thanking me.
After introducing myself to the others, we decided to walk around and talk, much to Kenma's dismay.
"So how are things going in Hyōgo?" Kuroo asks.
"Pretty good, surprisingly" I replied.
"Hyōgo? Do you know the Miya twins by any chance?!?!" Lev questions excitedly.
Kenma looked at Lev weirdly.
"She has the same surname as them, she looks similar to them, she goes to the same school as them and lives in the same prefecture as them, you would think that someone would've at least assumed that she knows them" he deadpanned.
"Damn, Kenma" Yamamoto commented, patting his back.
I laughed at Kenma's outburst and turned to Lev.
"Yes, I do know them, I'm their older sister" I sighed out, almost getting a headache just by thinking about them.
They're fame is seriously insane...I also came to Tokyo to get away from them...but instead I get reminded of them...what is this...
"Thats so cool!!!!!"
"Lev, stop shouting, you're giving us a headache" Yaku reprimanded.
"BUT YAKU-SAN!!!"
"SHUT. UP."
...so much for taking a break...this is just like home...shouting and chaos everywhere...
I thought sweatdropping while watching Yaku beat up the tall half-Russian as the rest of the team watched.
"Do you know where Karasuno High School is?" I asked, remembering part of the reason for my visit.
"Karasuno? Yea, we know their volleyball club members, you visiting a boyfriend or something?" Kuroo teases.
'Eh? Boyfriend?? Shinsuke wouldn't be pleased...' I thought as I laughed mentally.
Shinsuke suddenly sneezes.
"Achoo!!"
Aran turned surprised "Eh? Are you getting sick Shinsuke?"
"...No..."
"No...I'm just visiting a junior of mine" I explained.
"Well if you're not visiting a boyfriend maybe I can-"
"No thanks, I'm not interested" I cut him off as I mentally slapped my forehead at Kuroo trying to be smooth.
"Well, it was worth a shot" Kuroo laughed while shrugging.
"Who's the junior that you were going to visit, Miya-san???" Lev questions excitedly.
"His name is Hinata Shōyō"
"Oh you mean Shrimpy!!!!!" the team shouts, remembering the short first year.
"...shrimpy?" I questioned.
"Yea shrimpy, he has insane hops for a kid his size and he can spike, he's a middle blocker, you know" Kuroo explains, laughing.
Shōyō? A middle blocker? Spiking?...
"I see...he's come very far" I replied, smiling while remembering the ball of sunshine.

"Eh? What do you mean by that?" Yaku questions, looking at me curiously.
"I actually taught him how to spike and brushed up on his basics, though his ability to receive is...questionable" I explained, remembering the past.
"EHHH, THAT'S SO NOT FAIR, HE GOT TAUGHT BY THE GUARDIAN FOX" Lev whined loudly.
Yaku kicked him and proceeded to scold him.
"So I'm guessing he's the mother of the team" I assumed, quietly whispering to Kuroo.
"Yeah he is, but don't let him hear you say that...and don't call him short...he's sensitive about that" Kuroo whispers back.
"I CAN HEAR YOU, KUROO"
"ACK STOP KICKING ME, YAKU"
I walked up the hill, panting when I reached the top.
Of course the school had to be on a hill...
I thought, catching my breath.
I continued walking, seeing the school.
So this is Karasuno...
I walked onto the grounds, trying to find the volleyball gym.
I wondered around, until I heard the familiar sound of shoes squeaking on the floor and volleyballs slamming onto the floor.
Finally...
I thought, walking towards the sound and finding the gym.
I found the door wide open and went inside, scanning the gym.
"Excuse me, may I help you?" a beautiful girl with black hair and glasses asked me, politely.
"Ah yes, I'm looking for someone named Hinata Shōyō" I replied, smiling at the girl.
"Hinata? He just went to the bathroom, he'll be back in a bit" she answered.
"I see, thank you...Miya Hana, nice to meet ya" I introduced, putting out my hand.
"Kiyoko Shimizu, its nice to meet you too, Miya-san" Kiyoko replied, smiling as she shook my hand.
Kiyoko and I continued to chat as one of the members began to notice me.
"Who's that talking to Kiyoko-san?"
"I dunno, but she looks familiar..."
"Maybe she's signing up for the manager's position"
Everyone talked amongst themselves as a certain orange haired boy walked into the gym, coming back from the bathroom.
"Hana-senpai?" he called out, once coming through the doors.
I turned to meet his warm brown eyes as they brimmed with excitement.
"Hello Shōyō..." I smiled softly, before getting tackled in a warm hug from the excited boy.
I stumbled back a bit, gaining my balance as I caught him when he jumped on me.
"H-Hinata" Kiyoko called out nervously.
"It's quite alright, Kiyoko-san" I reassured her as I held Hinata like a child.
"I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!" the overly excited child cried, continuing to ramble.
I laughed and let him finish letting out his excitement, noticing the team coming over and staring at the ball of sunshine still attached to me.
"Hello" I greeted everyone, sweat-dropping.
"Hello there!...Uhm Hinata, I think it'll be good if you got off the girl..." a boy with silver hair tells Hinata, sweat-dropping a bit.
Hinata couldn't hear him due to his continuous and loud ramblings.
I was about to say something before a loud voice cut me off.
"GET OFF THE GIRL, BOKE HINATA BOKE"
Hinata then jumped off me and turned to the angry blueberry.
"SHUT UP, IDIOT KAGEYAMA!!!"
"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?!"
I watched as the duo argued, the rest of the team ignoring them and introducing themselves to me.
"I'm Miya Hana, I just came to check up on Shōyō since I heard that Karasuno was going to compete in the Spring High Championships" I explained, hearing the arguing getting louder.
"I see...we're so sorry about them" Sugawara apologised, sweat-dropping at the duo.
I saw Daichi popping a vein as I pat his shoulder.
"Shōyō, stop fighting and come here" I called out, catching his attention.
"Hai~" he cheered, skipping over to me, catching everyone off guard.
"How come you listen to her better than me..." Daichi sighed as Sugawara and Asahi pat his back.
I smiled before whispering to the third years.
"I've noticed that...if yer lift up Shōyō in the middle of his 'excited fits' he gets caught off guard and confused so he just immediately shuts up" I said.
The third years eyes widen in surprise as I laughed.
.
.
.
"Ano...Miya-san" Tsukishima called.
I looked towards him, seeing another figure behind him.
"What can I do for ya, Tsukishima-san?" I asked.
"Yamaguchi would like your autograph..." he replied dryly, pushing the nervous boy in front of me.
"Hello, Yamaguchi-san" I greeted with a smile.
"H-hi...c-can y-you please sign this for m-me?" he asked, handing me a poster and marker.
I chuckled and signed it, giving it back to him as I pat his back trying to calm him down.
.
.
.
There was a practice match going on as I watched from the sides, obverting everyone's skills.
Kageyama and Hinata suddenly did a quick.
My eyes widen as my jaw dropped a little.
A quick?...How terrifying...
I thought, seeing Hinata jump excitedly while looking at me.
I nodded and gave two thumbs up, still shocked from before.
The game continued, the ball being set to Asahi as the ace spiked, the ball going towards Hinata.
Let's see how his receives are going...
I thought, before Hinata received the ball with his face, falling back from the force.
Not that well I see...
I thought, before walking towards the tangerine who was on the floor.
"Are yer alright, Shō?" I asked, getting a thumbs up from him.
"RECEIVE WITH YOUR ARMS, BOKE HINATA BOKE" Kageyama shouts.
"You've improved a lot, I'm proud of ya Shō" I told him, watching Hinata skip next to me.
"Mhm! After you left, I kept on practising and learnt more things from different people!! OH!! I even got mentored by the #4 ace in Japan!!!" he excitedly shared.
"Ah that's good" I said, before realising something.
"...Shō..was that #4 ace perhaps...Bokuto Kōtarō?" I asked.
"Yea! Why?!" he said, looking up at me curiously.
"Oh it's nothing bad, it's just been a while since I've seen him and the others" I explained, looking back to the front and walking Hinata home.
