Standing by the window, Ayumu held her phone tight in her hand. She kept on glancing towards the name contact that displayed on her screen phone, wondering should she continued by connecting the line- calling him or not. It just by a single tap on the icon, the contact between two lines would connected but she hesitated. Should she? Should not she? Then, she threw her gaze at the outside view.
"If ya wanna call him, just go on. What make ya stop?"
Ayumu turned around, finding Kita finally entered insideㅡthe discussion room; the room they used for their mentor mentee class.
"Ya finally here." She smiled, sliding her phone inside her school blazer pocket and went to her seat. Kita nodded as he closed the door behind him, and walked towards where Ayumu was. Putting his bag on the table beside Ayumu's and picked up a chair, settling it across of the table Ayumu sat herself at. Then, he took his seat.
Kita looked at her, waiting for her words. Ayumu thought about shrugging the topic already but Kita's curiosity eyes as he looked at her, she could not ignored those.
"Nah~ it's fine I guess. He will call me later or sooner. Since, Tsumu and Samu betrayed me with having good bond with Iwa-nii and Too-nii behind me, the two might be know about us already. And knowing Iwa-nii and Too-nii, they would tell the team about this. Yeah, I closed to them right...and they will never forget about telling Kageyama either. So, let's just wait." Ayumu smiled.
"What make ya choose me?" Kita suddenly asked.
"Ya really ask me that?" Ayumu stifled a tender laugh. "I thought we not going to talk about it."
"We need to talk about it." Kita said. " I don't wanna ya force yerself to be with me."
Ayumu smoothened her face with a smile but she wasn't looking at Kita. Placing her hands on the table, fiddled nothing on the surface, she shook her head.
"I take the relationship I was in seriously, Kita. No matter how confuse I am about my feelings, if I don't wanna ya, then am not going to choose ya." She said. "I don't know what were ya thinking about me and Kageyama, but to make it long short explainationㅡyes, I like him for more than three years I guess. Most of the people that I closed with at Miyagi, they always mistook me and Kageyama have a thing inbetween. They said me and Kageyama were suit with one another. Not only that too, as they were saying that, they did mentioned how obvious Kageyama's feelings towards me which I know if I confess to him, he will not reject."

Ayumu's fingers somehow found them fiddled with Kita's longs fingers. Her eyes were looking down on the fingers instead of into Kita's eyes.
"I am not a person who will make a first move. So, I am waiting for him. Perhaps, he could tell that I like him too and of course I am not going to reject him. He is the one I like, right. But, he didn't. Ya know, what can I say, eventhough if we seem noticed the gesture, the feelings, the way of heart connected, if none of the person make a move, then, none of them would know. We can say "ah! I think he likes me." "ah! I think he will not reject me." but, the "i think" is what ourselves think, our own assumption and not that other person's real statement. So, we will never know the right answer, except they confessed."
Then, Ayumu smiled; "But, there yer are. Acting so bold, kissing me right infront of my brothers. Ya thinks its romantic?" She giggled, forming a soft smile on Kita's lips. His fingers slightly curled, twinning his and Ayumu's fingers together.
" I wish, Kageyama was bold as yer are...but I know, its a rude of me to compare. So, let's just stop comparing. Each of us are different anyway." She said. " To answer yer question, why I choose yaㅡI have no exact answer. But Tsumu really attacked me by saying; "if Kita-san found someone new and ya finally realised that ya just lost him, don't regret yer choice" I don't understand what he meant by that, until the day I saw ya talking with another girl."
Kita had his big eyes, looking loving-ly at her, who looked so endearing while playing with his fingers.
"I just felt the pain right here at the heart, seeing ya guys chit-chatting. I don't like the view. I don't like ya talk with another girl. But, when I think again, who am I to be jealous on that? Yer are not mine. I am not yours. We are not in relationship anyway. I don't like yer either. So, why? Then, just remember what Tsumu said...if I didn't accept ya, I will regret it. I already got used with yer presence with me, who always stay by my side and to think about not having ya, it terrified me." Her face smoothened with a small smile, imagining what gonna happened if she did not having Kita on her side. . .
"But ya don't even saying, "I love you" or "I like you" to me." Kita uttered, finally got the grasp of her dark ocean eyes. Ayumu's tightened her fingers around Kita's as she giggled; " So, I need to say "I love you, Shin" or "I like you, Shin" so yer will finally believe that I'm deep in love with ya?"

"Isn't it suppose to be that way?" He asked, tilted his a little.
"Okay, if ya said so..thenㅡ" Ayumu cleared her throat. "Kita Shinsuke, Iㅡ"
Kita instantly put his other hand, covered her lips and shook his head." Don't say it just because I asked yer to."
Ayumu's brows furrowed but quickly smoothened again. She pecked Kita's palm that covered her lips as he retreeted his hand then.
"Okay." She said. "If that so."
Then, silence fall between them. With Ayumu still found her fingers locking with Kita and Kita had his soft gaze on Ayumu. It supposed to be mentor mentee session actually but their final exam was long over wasn't it? So, there no new syllabus to cover, just perhaps maybe the mentor wanna have a look on their question paper and discussed about it.
"Miya."
"Hmm?" She was tracing invisible pattern on Kita's back hand.
"What if Kageyama-kun confess to ya? What are yer gonna do?"
Her finger stopped before she chinned up to look at him. There was hesitation eyes and longing expression on his face.
"What yer think am gonna do?" She asked him back. Instead of answering, he just shrugged his shoulder. Scared to make any speculation.
"If ya think a gonna leave ya and return to Kageyama, may yer toe stub to the door Kita." She joked, bringing his eyes wider.
"That's so mean of ya." He said, frowning.
"It's not meanie..if ya really think low about me. I will not return to him, Kita..If I'm planing to do so, I should not be holding yer hand right now and we not going to have this conversation either. I already waiting for him for three years and ++ so trust me, I can waiting for him more than that. But look, I already with ya." Ayumu said before her voice later turned out mischievous." Except if ya dump me."
Kita was quick to furrow his eyes upon that, and Ayumu instantly bubbled out laughter, finding it funny on how he was quick to change his face expression. Kita Shinsuke, the king of barely used face expression was so quick change to new expressions.
"It's not funny, Miya."
"It just yer face Kita."
But Kita still frowning.
"Okay, Okay. I'm sorry." She apologised.
"Am sorry too, for thinking that low of ya." He uttered.
"So, ya really think am going to return to Kageyama huh?"
Kita didn't answer that as he kept his lips shut.
"Now, ya already know the answer that am not going to leave ya. Okay?"
Her voice was so soft which Kita swore he would never get bored to listen to those. As he could know Ayumu deeper and more, she surprised him with more sides of her. This soft side of her which she barely put it on surface. She always put her tough and intimidating appearance instead. Even though, she was all jumpy and jovial outside, now Kita knew she was a serious and matured person in the inside. Not forgetting to she had a sincere and soft heart.
"Kita."
"Hmm..."
"That day, am sorry for going harsh on ya."
"That day? When?"
"The day I lashed out on ya..pointing out that ya slacking off. I should not go that far. Am sorry."
Kita rose up his brows, looking at her. Then, he locked their fingers properly, lacing their hand together.
" At least, I get to know the Miya Ayumu who always bare her fangs to Kita Shinsuke is still there." He said, making Ayumu to roll her eyes.
"This is so not ya. Stop trying to be romantic. Its not suit ya."
Kita laughed; "Ya like the cold Kita more?"
Ayumu shrugged; " It's the Kita Shinsuke I know. But I don't mind. This side of ya, kinda adorable. Right, Shin-chan."
And again, his face fall, making Ayumu laughed hard. How fast he changed.
"Miya."
"I told ya already, it's adorable. Now,I remember how circle yer are when yer were kid."
" Are we really go to flash back now?"
" Who knows? Thankfully, ya didn't look at my baby photo album."
" Am gonna ask yer brother to get it for me." Kita smirked.
Her jaws dropped; "Don't play dirty, Kita Shinsuke. Ya know that my brothers are so obedient to ya and now ya really wanna used them?"
"Exactly."
