《Kita Shinsuke》Chapter 2

I walked out the door leaving my siblings alone. I'm going to regret that but I'm already gone. I walked towards the school to work on a match for the volleyball team. It was the middle of winter so it cold. It might just have been the fact that I forgot a jumper but I tried to keep warm by walking.
I held my books close to my chest and walked towards the school. It was an early Saturday morning so no one would be at the school. I walked in through the front gate and walked towards the office.
I didn't think anyone was in the school but of course someone had to be there. Just as I made it to the office I met someone. A girl of course it couldn't have been just a random girl. No, it was Yui.
She came up to me and shoved me. I didn't say anything, I sat silent on the floor watching her walk around me. "I thought I told you to stay away from Atsumu and Osamu." she looked down at me. She didn't listen whenever I tried to tell her I was his sister so I just nodded my head. "So why are you still hanging around with them?" She yelled down spitting on my face. I kept quiet, I wanted to scream that I was his sister but I stayed silent. She put her face down to mine and grabbed my collar. I stayed still, she wasn't someone you would want to mix with. I stayed silent as she pushed me around.
She bashed me against the wall the tried to punch my face. I turned my head away to try not to injure my face. I was pushed up against the wall and had a bloody nose. I waited for the blast to hit my face but it never came.

When I decided to look over it was Kita. He was holding Yui's hand. He finally let her go and she walked off. I wiped my bloody nose and looked up at him. "T-thank you.." I smiled at him. "Of course but what was that about?" He asked barely putting in any emotion. "You don't ave to worry about it." I replied quickly.
I ran off the bathroom to wipe my nose. God he wasn't meant to see that. I thought wiping my nose. I had a bruised forehead. I put my hand up to it and washed it. Maybe they wouldn't notice? I was gonna test my luck today.
I walked back out to Kita who was waiting for me. I ran over to him waving my hand. "So we're you studying today?" I asked him walking back to the office. "Yes, I have been here since 8," he answered keeping up with me. That early huh? We talked as we walked to the office. Kita was one of the only people who knew about.. Yui. I hated the fact that he always had to interfere with us.

Voidsong (A NaNoWriMo 2018 winner)
Synopsys: The Empire thought humanity died, and forgot all about it. The Empire is mistaken. A Note From the Author: This story was written as a National Novel Writing Month 2018 entrant. As such, its entire 50,000+ word length was written between November 1, 2018 and November 31, 2018. Overall, I would consider this no more than a polished draft. In that vein, the chapters have no names, only numbers. Special thanks to Chronus on youtube for answering my questions on NATO radio procedures! My Apologies to the Finnish Language, which I have abused in (probably) unforgivable ways to create Twisted Empire names. If anyone is interested, break the names up by commas and toss them into your favorite translation program (I used Google Translate, and tried to avoid umlauts and other accents) for some semi bilingual boni. If I got something wrong (and I know I did… somewhere…) let me know over on reddit and I will see what I can do to fix the mistake. Lyrics, where included, are cited in footnotes.
