《Kita Shinsuke》Chapter 13

I walked downstairs towards the kitchen. It was early in the morning at around 6. I had offered to make breakfast for all the teams. I think that two other girls were going to help me with it but I'll see when I get there.
"Oh you must be Y/n!" A girl welcomed me to the kitchen. "Hello!" I walked into the kitchen and found another girl just lazing around.
"Hi my name is Sakura and this is Sara." She looked down at her lazy friend. "We're sisters!" She said again. "Nice to meet you both." I mumbled.
"I was thinking of making some grilled fish." Sara said finally standing up. "Right." I answered softly heading towards the stove.
They were both really loud and sort of annoying but by the time we had finished up making the food I had gotten used to it. "Looks like the boy's are here." Sakura said looking out the door.
"I'll bring the food to the back two tables and Sakura will do the middle two." Sara siad picking up 3 dishes. "Right." I said picking up 4 dishes.
I walked out to the table right outside the door. "Here's your food." I smiled to myself as I watched my two hopeless brothers fall asleep on the boy I lov-.... Did I just think that? Do I love him? What is wrong with me?
"Here you go." I smiled turning back around and towards the kitchen. I brought out 4 more plates and passed them along.
The nest table I went to was Nekoma. "Here's your breakfast." I said passing along the first few plates then heading back for more. "Here." I said walking towards my team's table.

"Did you eat already or something?" Kita asked. "Yeah I ate earlier." I smiled sitting next to Osamu and Kita. "Our first match is against Karasuno guys so Atsumu keep your mouth shut." I told them looking down at my hand where I had written down all the matches we were meant to play and the times that we had practice.
"Is Karasuno even that good?" Atsumu asked. "We'll find out when we play." I said giving him a smack on the head. "Why do you hit me and not him?" Atsumu pouted looking at Osamu.
"Cause Osamu isn't a complete and utter dick." I said turning back to the table. We talked while they ate about the positions and about basically anything volleyball related.
"Atsumu, Osamu!" I called as they started another fight. They both looked over at me and ran over. "Sorry." They mumbled walking up to the rest of the team.
*******
I sat on the bench as the match started. Karasuna didn't seem at their best. They looked like a few of their players weren't getting along, at all. They didn't even argue, just ignored each other. By the end of the first set we had hammered them.
"Guys. They aren't at their best." I explained looking over at Karasuno. "Wow I'm so shocked." Atsumu said rolling his eyes. "Shut up." Osamu said to him. "Just keep on playing like this." I said as the second set was about to start.
Again we won the set, they only got around 18 points. Once the third set started they got a few more points but we reached the top before them. 23:25.
******
Our next match was against Fukurodani. This match was much more of a workout for the boys. They got the first set but then Fukurodani got the second.

"Atsumu stop annoying Osamu and pay attention." I said to Atsumu who was giving out to his twin. "But he's no-" He tried to say. "Shut up and do as I say." I said shutting him up with my finger.
"Now let's win the last set." I said and with that everybody went back on to the court and we started to play again. It was a long set. 26:28. In the end we did win but it was really close. They had great attacks and a strong setter.

Please do not repost my work elsewhere without my written permission. What type of reader is this book for? You might enjoy The Last Orellen if you like... Clever and resourceful protagonists. Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. Progression fantasy that takes its time. Our main character will be progressing through magical ranks, but this is going to be a lengthy story. If you're more about the journey than the destination, this might be the book for you. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
