Historia ran up the stairs, and began to unlock the chains in order to release Eren.

"What the hell are you doing Historia" Eren said in shock.

"I'm setting you free" she told him.

"No. stop, you can't. If you don't kill me then everyone else will keep suffering. Just eat me already damn it. I can't live like this so end this"

"Shut up dumbass" Historia said hitting Eren in the head.

"stop your crying. I don't care about killing all the titans and I don't care about freeing mankind either. I'm starting to get sick of humanity. I say let them get wiped out by titans. And if that makes me an enemy of humanity. So be it. I don't care if I'm the worst girl who's ever lived! You get the hell out of here I'll deal with the rest!" Historia yelled at Eren continuing to release him.

Rod Reiss crawled over to the smashed liquid and in attempts to complete his goal he licked it, turning himself into a titan instead.

Suddenly there was a bright light and a titan began to form. A massive wave of wind came making Historia have to hold on to prevent being blown away.

"Just leave Historia that Titan from your family, let him eat me and everything will be alright, get out of here" Eren yelled.

"Not a chance" Historia said bluntly

"Why won't you listen?"

"I might be an enemy of humanity now but I'm still your allie. I can't be selfless and I don't want to be a god but. But when I see someone crying saying that no one needs them, I have to go show them it isn't true. Your feeling how I felt for my entire life. That's why I need you to be okay"

"But F/n you need to help her not me!" Eren pointed out trying to looking through the smoke and light for a sign of her. "Historia!" Eren yelled as the wind got to powerful making Historia lose her grip.

Mikasa quickly flew in just in time catching Historia before she hit the crystal wall behind her. "Hey"

"Mikasa" Historia said in shock and relief that she was here.

"Give me the keys" Levi said landing.

"All on you" Eren said in shock that they made it.

Levi gave the keys to Connie saying "hurry" he looked around and his worry increase dramatically. So much so that he could hardly stop it from showing. "Where is she!" He yelled getting everyone's attention.

"S-She was down there" Eren pointed with his now only free hand down in the direction where she was.

"we can't get to her it's to dangerous!" Jean yelled.

Levi took of on his ODM gear instantly without even thinking about what he was doing as he went in that direction.

"F/n?!" I heard my name being yelled. That voice... it's "Levi!" I yelled out as loud as I could. Shielding my eyes from the strong wind.

"F/n" Levi repeated as he landed next to me running to my side.

"Y-Your here!" I smiled happily.

"Of corse I am brat" he muttered as I wrapped my arms around him hugging him. "But we don't have time right now, hold on" he told me and I did so. He took of once again and we landed we're Eren was chained up. But now he was no longer chained up and everyone else was there.

"Your okay!" Mikasa smiled as we landed.

"Yeah" I nodded.

"Get back" Levi warmed us as some of the ceiling fell off.

"Damn it we'll be buried alive" Jean moaned as the ceiling began break. We all lined against the wall staying as far away as we could. Levi held me close to him as we all starred at the titan forming.

"Sorry. I can't" Eren cried "I've been dead weight every step of the way. This power shouldn't have ever been given to me. I can't be humanities hope I'm too weak" he continued to apologise, even though he did nothing wrong to begin with.

"Come on. Stop playing the tragic hero, of corse your too weak to complete jack by yourself, but no one expects you to" Jean started looking down at Eren.

"Yeah calm down we've been through a hell of a lot more than this man" Connie continued.

"Not that I really wanna get used to it" Sasha joined in.

"still it's going to suck trying to fly through that mess" Connie pointed out looking out to the huge titan, growing by the second.

"I'll take Eren" Mikasa stepped forward.

"It's going to take all we have to not get hit, so hold on for your life" Jean said to Historia, obviously offering to be the one to carry her.

"Right" she replied.

"You can't fly through that" I muttered to myself.

"We still have to try" Levi replied to me "besides I promise you'll be okay"

"That's not good enough" I said looking up at him "we all need to be okay"

"She's right, it's useless you know we won't make it" Eren said looking like he had given up, it was weird to see him like this. He was the last person o would have ever thought would have given up...

"So we should just do nothing. Shoul. Just sit here and hold hands until we are crushed, or until we burn to death, you know dying here won't make anything better" Historia shouted at him.

"Listen, I really hate that I do this to you all the time. But, you've got to make a choice here" Levi said looking over to Eren, referring to the day we were chased by the female titan and Eren chose to trust him.

But instead of replying Eren ran foward and jumped off the ledge, turning into a titan mid air. In the blink of an eye Eren's titan appeared crystal like things spreading out from all around him.

"Come on!" Levi said and we all ran under Eren for protection. Was this it, was he finally going to be able to use his hardening ability.

"Eren can you hear me!" Mikasa yelled as she smashed away at the crystal trying to get Eren out "wake up"

Finally she got Eren out and he was fine. They jumped down of the titan coming over to us.

"Not too shabby Eren. Even after we cut you from it the titan hasn't Disappeared. This could be a game changer" Levi said once they landed.

"What was different? Why could you do it now?" I wondered.

"I almost forgot... listen before I transformed a drink from a bottle that said armour" he said looking at me.

"Gotcha I guess that's all you needed to pull it off" Levi said "because this time you did it easily, you saved all our life's. You came up with and build everything you see here in the blink of an eye. It's not exactly pretty but I see it's potential. I bet this was how the walls were made to. Guess what. It means we finally have a shot in plugging the hole in wall Maria. We had hell of a time getting here, took long detours, watched friends die, but as ugly as it's been, look at the position we're in now"

"Then we might finally find out the truth about the titan's" I added.

"Good, I've been waiting to know were those bastards came from" Jean said lowly.

"But we still have a lot to do before then" I said and he nodded saying a simple "yeah"

"Captain, we've secured an exit sir!" Sasha yelled from above.

"Hanji's Fine! Armin and Moblet too!" Connie added.

"I'm glad to hear it" Levi replied as the landed.

"Eren!" Sasha smiled running over with Connie following closely behind "you okay?" He asked.

"We're all save thanks to you" Sasha thanked him dropping to her knees. "But to be completely honest, when I saw you run off into the light stumbling like a drunk and wailing like a baby, I thought we were screwed! You looked like an idiot and my fate was in your hands! It was awful! Quit you're crying! Have some dignity. That's what I was thinking anyway" She added making me laugh.

"Let's go" Levi said snapping everyone out of there peaceful state "we have a bigass titan to catch"

We all went up the hole in the ceiling, Mikasa took Eren up, Jean helped Historia and Levi helped me up.

"You okay?" Levi asked me as we got onto the ground.

"I'm fine" I smiled "what about you?"

He nodded "Did Kenny hurt you?" He asked seriously and I shook my head "he didn't. All he wanted to do was lure you in... or something like that"

"brat..." he said grabbing me and pulling me into a hug. He buried his face in my hair and muttered "You really fucking scared me"

"I'm here now" I laughed lightly hugging him back.

"Don't leave me again" he said simply.

"I won't I promise" I said only loud enough for him to hear.

"Awe, you two are so cute!" I heard Hanji say excited, but she also sounded exhausted. I turned my head and saw her being held up by Moblet.

"Hanji what happened to you!" I said in shock and blood dripped from near the front of her shoulder.

"I'm okay" she laughed "just had a little accident, I was to careless"

I smiled sadly until I heard Eren say "it's travelling pretty fast.." We watched as Rod Reiss' titan crawled across the ground gradually making his way to the wall.

"It's even bigger than the colossal titan..." I said randomly.

"Tch, that's just are luck isn't it" Levi clicked his tongue.

"Captain Levi!" A scout yelled out riding a horse.

"Is Erwin near by" Levi asked and the scout nodded "tell him it was a success"

The scout nodded and rode off again. Soon enough a few more scouts came with horses and a wagon. We got Hanji in the wagon comfortably. "Are you alright laying like this?" I asked taking of my jacket and folding it. I put it under her head for her to lay on.

"It's perfect thank you" she smiled as I sat by her side.

"Erwin" Levi said as he came riding over on his horse.

"Anyone hurt?" He asked looking in the wagon.

"Yeah Hanji took a hit" Levi told him as Hanji showed him the blood on her hand.

"It doesn't look like anything to serious. You've done excellent work, all of you" Erwin told us all.

"I've got a whole slew of things to report. But, first" Levi said to Erwin.

"Anything on the titan?" Erwin asked wanting to deal with the main problem quickly.

"It's Rod Reiss" Levi told him making him gasp in shock. "I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this commander"

"Times short, we can't afford to stand here and chat" Erwin said turning to face the titan "head back to the wall" he commanded.

"Your gunna let that thing drag it's fat ass all the way to Sina?" Levi questioned.

"Well move pacifically I'll letting it continue on to Orvud district" Erwin said Turing his head back to us.

Erwin rode of ahead to lead the scouts. We sat in silence for a while.

"Alright time to think, first of" Hanji spoke up breaking the silence. "Lord Reiss was after the founding titans power and that power currently resides in Eren..." she continued to think out loud.

"Y'know we still have the option to go back" Eren said surprising me. "We just need that titan to eat me, than Reiss will become human again. We could still have a true founding titan. It's possible"

"Wait you don't mean..." Mikasa said shocked herself at what Eren was saying.

"It's worth considering" Levi said. "Once Reiss turns back into a human we could capture him and undo the first kings brain washing. Assuming it can be done, it may well open a path to save humanity. Tell me Eren. If that turns out to be our best bet are you really willing to do it?"

"Yes I am" he said confidently.

"Eren I can't let you" Mikasa refused.

"You can't do that!" I said.

"It might be the only way" he said looking at me.

"After all of that and you want to just die. Well sorry, but I don't care it's not happening. Besides we don't even know if that would work" I said glaring at him making him look down. "I'm not going to let you throw away your life that easy"

There was silence as no one spoke for a few moments.

"Let's not forget the other option. First of the plan the plan you're discussing is full of flaws. For one thing it might not be possible to free my father from the first Kings will. And no matter how you restrain him, if he alters everyone's memory, we're finished" Historia pointed out. "And consider how much we don't know about the founding titan. It isn't worth the risk"

"she's right y'know" Armin continued turning his head to face us. "He's not even guaranteed that Riess would turn back if he did eat Eren That's just a hypothesis no ones actually seen it happen before"

Historia went on "So far only being led by destructive pacifist's and they kept the founding Titans powers that's how it would stay. This is humanity's first chance to escape from them.." she turned her head to Eren and said "Eren your father wasn't evil, I was trying to save humanity from the first king he stole the founding titan from my sister then he murdered my father's wife and children. Because he had no other choice"

"You mean..." Eren muttered clutching his head.

"Yeah that's right, the doctor Jeagar I knew would only have done something like that if he had to" Armin said quickly to Eren.

"Agreed, he must have known another way. A way to save humanity without Reiss blood, and that must've been why he left you the key to the cellar" Mikasa piped up.

"What the cellar? Oh yeah right, I had forgotten all about that. You mean it's actually important now" Sasha said.

"Apparently it is" Connie agreed.

"What matters to me is that we have a Why to plug wall Maria. The way I see it that's makes our choice pretty clear" Jean pointed out.

"See if you die then we won't be able to use your hardening ability" I told Eren.

"That's true" he muttered.

"You know that's actually a fairly convincing argument" Levi agreed with him.

"Go what it's worth I think we should stick with Eren too" Hanji agreed. "But listen are you sure about this Historia? That titans a major threat, it's not like we can just let it wonder around freely inside the walls. Capturing it isn't an option, it's way too big. Which mean that. our only way forward is to kill your father" Hanji told Historia.

It shocked her but she got over it and said "Eren I should apologise. Under the Reiss chapel, I really considered turning into a titan and killing you, and it wasn't to save humanity, I just wanted to believe my father was right. Even more than that I wanted him to like me" she admitted to him. "But it's time for me and him to part ways now"

"It's okay I understand" Eren nodded.

"Did anyone from Kenny's squad make it out alive?" Levi asked looking at me.

I knew he was specifically asking me if Kenny himself had survived.

"I. I'm not sure" I said looking down but looking back up to him again and he nodded. "I think they were probably all crushed"
