《Percy Jackson x Reader-Sea of Monsters》Chapter 17

Once we got back to Camp and having another lecture by the one and only Will, everybody went to Thalia's tree. Most of my half siblings looked so tired but they were still glad that I came back. Everybody crowded around Thalia's tree.
I was next to Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Tyson. Clarisse walks towards Thalia's tree with the Golden Fleece at hand. She stopped at the base of the tree and leans over the roots.
"Here you go, Thalia." Clarisse said as she gently placed the Golden Fleece on the roots.
In between the golden stitching the Fleece started to glow. We all stepped back as hundreds of brown pine needles rise from the ground, reattaching themselves to the branches. The pine needles turned back to a lively green. A blue glow came out of the tree from either side, restoring the Camp's borders.
Everybody cheered. Percy looked at me before hugging me to which I gladly hugged back. Chiron ordered a 24/7 guard duty until he found the perfect guard to protect the Fleece.
In the meantime, the campers celebrated. Clarisse was carried on her cabin mates' shoulders while they chanted her name and carried her to the campfire, where most of the celebrating was taking place at.
Later that night, we roasted s'mores while listening to the Stoll brothers telling us ghost stories. I was next to Will. I didn't know where Percy was at. He was there a minute ago. But I did see Tyson who was still tinkering with pieces of metal. I excused myself and went over to him.
I said as I sat down next to him.
He looked at me and smiled.
"Hi (Y/N)!" He said cheerfully.
I smiled back.
Tyson is not like the Cyclops that killed Thalia. He was different but it's a good different.
He looked confused.
"What? Why?" He asked.
I said.
Suddenly Tyson's arms were around me, giving me a really tight hug.
"Of course I forgive you, (Y/N)!"
"Oh sorry." He said sheepishly.
I said.
"(Y/N)?" Tyson asked.
He was staring to look nervous.
"Um your Percy's girlfriend, right?"
I nodded slowly, confused at what this was getting at.
"So you two are getting married?" He asked innocently.
I didn't know what to say right now but I did know I was blushing like crazy.
"I'm glad Percy has you. You make him happy. And he makes you happy. And that makes me happy." He smiled.
I smiled back at him. He was being too sweet and innocent.
I noticed two wristwatches in his hands. One of them had a blue leather strap and the other was (F/C).
I asked him.

Tyson smiled.
"I made them! It's a present for you and Percy!" He exclaimed.
I realized that these were the things I'd seen him tinkering all throughout the quest. I never really wear watches, never really wanting to know the time. But I couldn't hurt Tyson's feelings. He handed me the (F/C) watch. I put it on.
I said.
"It doesn't only tell time, it can turn into a shield too!" Tyson grinned. "Just push the button."
I did as I was told and it instantly turned into a beautiful shield. Carvings of our quest were on the front of the shield.
I turned the shield back to its watch form.
I said.
Tyson nodded.
"Can we get some s'mores first?" He asked. "With PEANUT BUTTER?!"
'I guess he really likes peanut butter.'
I said.
Tyson cheered as we walked to get some s'mores. I was still wondering where Percy was at.
I was at the lake, away from the celebration, wanting to clear my head.
The sun was barely setting. I was glad to be home. Everthing was back to normal or some what normal.
Clarisse warned me that we were still rivals. Will thanked me for taking care of (Y/N). Chiron gave me my second bead for my Camp necklace. It had a picture of the Golden Fleece hanging from Thalia's tree. The first one was a black bead with a turquoise trident. 2 summers of Camp.
Right now I was thinking about the prophecy. I knew it had something to do with me. Otherwise why would Kronos tell Luke that I needed to be replaced. I needed to ask (Y/N) about the prophecy. Maybe she would know who the half-blood of the prophecy was.
I was about to go and see her when I saw a middle-aged man with a mailbag. He looked familiar.
"H-Hermes?" I stammered.
"Hello, Percy. Glad you recognize me this time. Where's your girlfriend?" He asked.
"I um she's at the campfire." I said. "Listen, Lord Hermes, about Luke...we saw him but-"
"You weren't able to talk sense into him?"
"We tried but he's turned bad...I'm really sorry. He almost killed us so I had to fight him...He feels abandoned. He feels like you don't care about him." I said, waiting for Hermes's reaction.
Hermes sighed. He looked at the waves that were crashing onto the beach.
"Families are messy. Immortal families are eternally messy. The best we could do is remind each other that we're related...for better or worse...I can only hope that Luke realizes his mistake before it's too late." He said.
Then he grabbed a blue envelope from his mailbag.

"This is for you." Hermes said.
He handed me the envelope and I instantly knew it was from my father.
"Take care of yourself Percy." Hermes said as he began to glow.
I looked away so I wouldn't look at his true godly form and be turn into a pile of ashes.
I looked at the blue envelope in my hands. I quickly opened it only to find two words on the letter:
Confusion was the only thing I felt. I started thinking of all the possibilities why my father would send me this warning.
"Brother!"
I turned around to see (Y/N) and Tyson running towards me. I quickly hid the letter in my jeans pocket, not wanting them to worry about it.
"Hey guys! What's up?"
(Y/N) said.
"Look!" Tyson grinned.
He gave me a wristwatch. I noticed that (Y/N) had a similar wristwatch on.
"Did you made this?" I asked as I put it on, as he showed me how to activate the shield.
"Yep! Made one for (Y/N) too!" He said proudly.
I looked at (Y/N). She wasn't avoiding Tyson anymore. Were they finally getting along?
"Wait so, ya'll are good. I mean, you don't hate him?"
(Y/N) shook her head.
I looked back at Tyson and smiled.
"Yeah. I am lucky to have you as my brother. No doubt about that." I said as I gave him a hug.
I smiled as the two half brothers hugged. Once they pulled back, Tyson looked sad.
I asked.
"Dream came to me when I took a nap." He said. "Daddy wants me to visit."
Percy and I looked at each other before looking back at the friendly Cyclops.
"Dad, send you a dream message?" Percy asked.
Tyson nodded.
"Wants me to go underwater for the rest of the summer. Learn to work at Cyclopes' forges. He called it an inter- an intern-"
I guessed.
"Yeah that's what he called it."
"When are you leaving?" Percy asked.
Tyson scratched the back of his neck and glanced at the lake.
"Now."
"Now? Like...now now?" Percy said, looking upset.
Tyson nodded. There was a moment of silence except for the crashing of the waves.
Percy looked at me with a bit of sadness in his eyes. I gave him an encourging smile.
"We're happy for you, big guy." Percy managed to say. "Really."
"Hard to leave my new brother." Tyson's voice trembled as a tear rolled down his cheeks. "But I want to make things. Make weapons for Camp."
I placed my hand on Tyson's shoulder. He looked at down at me (since he's 6ft tall) with his big brown eye.
Percy held up his watch, proudly.
"Just like these."
Tyson smiled.
"Use the shields well. They'll save your lives one day." Tyson said as he wiped a tear from his cheek.
Percy and I said together.
Then he engulfed us in a big hug, almost knocking the air out of my lungs...again.
"Can't...breathe...big guy." Percy said.
Tyson let go.
"Sorry." He said sheepishly.
We said our goodbyes to Tyson and watched him as he headed down to the water. He whistled. Rainbow bursted out of the waves and carried Tyson into the realm of Poseidon.
Percy and I sat down on the sand.
"I'm gonna miss him." Percy said sadly.
"You're right. I should be happy for him. But I have something bothering me." He confessed.
I said.
He took a deep breath and looked at me in the eyes.
"Am I the one the Great Prophecy is talking about?"
My eyes widened. I looked away.
"(Y/N) please tell me." He said as he grabbed my hands and held them in between us. "Am I the one of the prophecy?" Percy asked again.
I sighed, knowing he wasn't going to give the subject up. I looked at him.
Percy nodded.
Percy sighed and put his head in his hands.
"Is there any chance, any chance at all, I'm not the one of the prophecy?" Percy asked.
Percy looked up.
"You're right, anything could happen. As long as you're with me, I'm ready for anything."
I giggled at him.
He laughed too.
"But you like me that way, (Y/N)." He said as he wrapped his arms around me.
We looked at each other in the eyes as we started to lean in closer. Percy looked down at my lips while biting his bottom lip before looking back at me eyes again. He gently placed his hand on my cheeks as he crashed his lips on my soft ones. I wrapped my arms around his neck, slightly tugging on his jet black hair.
We finally pulled back for some air.
"I love you, (Y/N)." Percy said.
We stayed there by the lake. I started to get a bit cold so Percy took off his jacket and drapped it over my shoulders.
😆 😜
Then Annabeth called my name. We were both going to guard the Fleece for the night.
"Ok, just be careful."
I nodded and pecked him on the cheek.
"I will. I'll see you tomorrow. And keep the jacket for tonight." Percy said.
I said before I jogged towards Annabeth to begin our shift of guarding the Fleece for the night.

NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of The Creeping Bam (BOOK ONE: The Job)
TAO is a broken world held together with nothing but magic and the will of the gods who protect it and its people. Then thousand years ago THE SUNDERING struck and Tao was almost torn apart by a terrible magical cataclysm which resulted in the planet almost being halted in its journey through the cosmos. It took all the power the gods of Tao could muster to restore its orbit and set it turning again, but in their efforts it was forever changed – its axis was drastically altered, and it now spins in such a way that one face of the world is forever turned from the sun it orbits, leaving half the planet in perpetual darkness. The various humanoid races that survived and now thrive within the habitable parts of THE DAY LANDS have come to live in perpetual fear of what lives beyond THE BORDERLANDS that separate them from whatever dwells within THE NIGHT LANDS, but for ten millennia it has kept its secrets. The land of RUNDAO languishes under the rule of their warlike Northern neighbours, the TEKTEHRAN EMPIRE, while a small, ragtag band of motley adventurers ply their mercenary trade fighting monsters and protecting the common man from the various dangers that haunt the night and prowl the hinterlands on the edges of civilization. THE CREEPING BAM have amassed a modest reputation in their years together, but they’re still just a small-time party of sellswords, thieves, outcasts and mages. They’re also exactly the kind of underdogs the people of Tao doesn’t yet realise are needed to save the world from the encroaching darkness they doesn’t even know is coming … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.
