THIRD PERSON POV-
Jungkook was attentively listening to the man who was explaining the terms and conditions. The ravenette was in a meeting when the screen of his phone lit up with a notification. He casually opened the notif and a smile formed on his lips immediately.
It was a notification from the bank informing about the card used at a mall for paying bill of food. Images of his handsome son laughing and enjoying with his friends flashed in front of Jungkook's eyes making his smile even wider.
He locked the phone and focused on the meeting again.
It had been three days since Taegguk got black card and he used it for the first time today. Jungkook was happy but he didn't notice what Taehyung did.
The boy was suddenly distancing himself from his mother. He would make lame excuses of coming home late and just last night, he didn't come back home saying he had a sleepover at one of his friend's.
Taehyung was worried for his son's safety but he couldn't say anything. He only prayed to God to keep his son safe.
Next day, the ravenette got another notification from bank informing five lac won have been debited. The ravenette looked at the message with a frown thinking why would Taegguk need such a huge amount of money but shrugged it off thinking his son has his needs.
Not only a day later, he got another message from the bank and this time, Jungkook seriously got scared as to what his son was doing. Another twenty lac won were debited from the account leaving Jungkook in worry.
He thought about talking to Taegguk but then stopped himself thinking that his questions may offend his son and moreover, he knew his son is not like him. Taegguk was mature and responsible, he won't do anything that can hurt Taehyung.
On the other hand, he was a little scared too. What if Taehyung's instincts came to be true? What if Taegguk chose the same path his father was walking years ago?
There was no doubt that money can make anyone blind.
What if Taegguk fell in wrong company??
Jungkook immediately shrugged his thoughts away and scolded himself for doubting his son.
Taegguk was a bright kid. He know what's right and what's wrong. He will never choose the path that had became a cause of their misery.
He thought if he should talk to Taehyung about it but then again, what if what he was thinking prove to be wrong? It will only make Taehyung worried.
He decided to let it slide for this time.
A hefty amount was again withdrawn the next day adding to Jungkook's worry. The boy didn't know what he should do.
Should he talk to his son about it?
Or should he talk to his husband?
He was in his office when he recieved a call from Taegguk's school and what the person on other end said made Jungkook's face go pale.
He forgot to breathe as his mind clouded with not so good images.
He thanked the person on other end and immediately walked out of his office in a haste.

He needed to talk to his husband as soon as possible.
Sitting in the car in the backseat as the driver drove him towards the Jeon Mansion, Jungkook rubbed his hands anxiously and patted his foot in nervousness as he thought what he will say to Taehyung.
Thinking how Taehyung will react, he was a little scared but he knew he has to face his husband.
Standing in front of Taehyung's room, Jungkook knocked on the door. Taehyung was sitting on the bed folding his clothes.
The blonde became confused when he saw the ravenette looking at him nervously.
"Tae....I need to talk to you."
"About?"
"Our son!"
The blue eyed male immediately stood up when he saw worry in Jungkook's brown eyes. Anxiety took over the blonde and he fiddled with his fingers waiting for Jungkook to say something.
The ravenette walked inside and licked his lips as he gathered courage to explain the matter to the blonde.
"What happened? W-Why are you so worried?" Taehyung asked getting anticipated.
"Tae.... Taegguk's class teacher called me...."
"And?"
"She said that Taegguk isn't a-attending school since last week." The ravenette completed nervously. He looked at Taehyung only to see confusion written all over his face.
"How is that even possible? Gguk is going to school everyda-" he stopped abruptly and the colour change of his face told Jungkook that Taehyung got what he wanted to imply.
The fear that flashed in bis blue eyes at the realisation made Jungkook want to hold him but he knew that he is not allowed to do that. Taehyung stumbled in his step as he walked towards the bed as he felt like he won't be able to keep standing on his own.
Jungkook immediately held him and made him sit properly. Handing the glass of water to Taehyung, Jungkook sat in front of him.
"Tae....Breathe..."
"B-But where is Gguk if he isn't in school?" The blonde asked holding Jungkook's arm as Jungkook caressed his arm to calm the blonde.
"There is something m-more I wanna tell you." Jungkook said avoiding Taehyung's blue, desperate eyes as he felt like he will not be able to look into those teary orbs without cursing himself.
"Something m-more?"
Jungkook nodded looking down before looking straight in the blonde's eyes.
He needed to face this.
The ravenette started naratting the whole matter how Taegguk had withdrawn such a large sum of money in last three days making the blonde's face turn pale.
This was what he feared.
This was what was making Taehyung worried.
"We need to talk to him.'' The ravenette finally spoke when Taehyung kept looking at him with blank, accusing eyes.
''Talk to him? What will you talk about? Wasn't you the one who send my son on the same path you were walking on?'' The blue eyed male asked angrily, tears threatening to come out thinking where his son could be? what he was doing? Why was he lying to his mother?
Why was he hiding something from a person he never hid anything?
He was right. Coming back to Korea wasn't a good decision. This country, this city has snatched everything from him and gave him the most deep cuts on his heart which will never mend. This city left him alone with nothing but a life full of struggles.

He was living happily in Paris. He and his son, both of them were away from every problem. Both of them would come back home every evening to share whatever happened whole day. His son shared every little detail with him and now.....
He was not only hiding things, Taegguk was lying to him.
Why?
Only because of Jeon Jungkook.
Only because of money he despise with his everything.
He knew that any kid can get distracted if unlimited money is provided to him. What he feared came out to be true. He had only one thing and now, Jungkook snatched that too from him and send him into a world of darkness, fakeness and show off.
The world he didn't want his kid to even know about.
It angered Taehyung even more.
Why Jungkook has to prove him wrong every time? Why he had to do something to destroy his little bubble of happiness every time? Why does he has to interfere in his life?
Why?
Just why?
''Tae.....Calm down. We should trust our son.'' The ravenette said emphasising on his words, his hand still caressing Taehyung's arm to calm him. The blonde chuckled and pulled his arm away from Jungkook's touch as if his husband's touch was burning him.
And it was.
It was burning him in rage.
''Trust? You are talking about trust now? I trusted you too with my kid. What did you do? huh? You gave him money and send him away from me.'' Taehyung spat angrily and Jungkook could only nod.
''Its not the ti-''
''You can't imagine how much I hate you, Jeon Jungkook. I hate you with my everything. You made my life a living hell. You used me and threw me like a toy not even caring about the baby growing inside me....'' The ravenette felt the words hitting his heart like a sharp shattered glass cutting it into pieces without mercy.
''When I somehow came out of my past and was living happily with my son, you came back again only to give me more pain. WHY? JUST WHY? Do you find it that amusing to see my tears? Do you find it that entertaining that you never get tired of giving me the reasons to hate you?"' Taehyung asked voicing out the venom he was feeling inside.
Jungkook looked down guiltily, his own tears ready to come out but he had no words to defend him. He was trying to do something good this time only to end up hurting Taehyung again.
It looked like just when he was taking a step ahead, circumstances were pushing him two steps back.
He was helpless, broken.....desperate to prove that he had changed but things turn out to be against him every damn time making the ravenette curse his own pathetic self.
''I knew it that your company will spoil my son. I knew that y-your presence around him will only influence him to go towards the worst but I still tried to trust you. I tried my best to not meddle between both of you....this is what you gave me in return of my trust? Oh God!! Taegguk is going to school everyday and the teacher is saying that he hasn't attended the school since last week? Do you know what that mean, Mr Jeon? Are you getting the depth of situation?'' The blonde asked furiously.
''Tae.....I understand what you are saying but please listen to me.'' The ravenette tried only to get a ignoring huff in response. The blonde picked up his phone and tried calling his son only to get no reply. He tried again...and again and again but Taegguk didn't pick.
The blonde yelled in frustration and threw his phone in annoyance. Jungkook sighed and pulled the blonde to himself making his eyes widen.
Taehyung tried to get out of Jungkook's hold but the ravenette didn't let him.
''Shh!! Tae,,,, Calm down. Listen to me.'' The ravenette spoke softly near the blonde's ear as Taehyung has his head placed on his husband's chest.
''I don't wanna listen anything.....just let me go!'' The blonde tried again but he was not that powerful.
''Tae.....We need to trust our son. He is not some spoilt brat. He is your Son....Taehyung's son. He is mature and responsible. He knows the difference between right and wrong. There can be some solid reason behind his school bunking. I am sure there is some reason. I trust your upbringing Tae....and you should too. Taegguk will never do something that can hurt you......You need to have faith in your son......'' The ravenette spoke softly, assuringly. His hand caressing Taehyung's back soothingly making Taehyung close his eyes and let himself rest in his husband's embrace for a moment.
''We need to talk to him about it patiently. Maybe there is some reason that is stopping him to share it with us. I am damn sure that Taegguk isn't doing anything wrong.'' Jungkook finished giving the blonde a little hope.
He knew his son will never do anything that can hurt his mother. He trust his son but on the same time, he couldn't trust the greed, brightness of money that can blind anyone. This money had snatched everything from him making Taehyung hate it with his everything.
''And what if h-he is on wrong track? What if h-he tried to distance himself from us?'' Taehyung asked weakly only to make Jungkook smile a little.
''Then we will get him back to us....together.'' The assurance from Jungkook's words made Taehyung breathe in relief. He may not trust the man he call his husband but somewhere, he trusted a father.
He knew no father will want his son to go on a path that leads to nothing more than darkness that envelops you in such an unescapable maze that the person forget the way out.
