Jungkook glanced at the boy sitting beside him. Tae is clutching the bucket of purple roses close to his heart, as if drawing some solace from it.

They are currently in Jungkook's car, going back home. Tae hadn't said a single word from the time they left Kim Mansion, he just sat there hugging the roses, his face blank.

Jungkook felt worried seeing the younger boy like that. He time and again kept glancing at the boy to see if there is any reaction from him but he found none and he isn't liking it even a bit. He knows it's nothing good when Tae goes all silent, his face and eyes blank. It scares Jungkook, he would rather have the younger boy cry his eyes out than seeing him like this, all silent, devoid of any emotions.

Jungkook hates it when Tae cries but he hates it even more when Tae doesn't show any emotion and keeps suffering alone, silently. He wants to talk to him, but Jungkook knows it's not the right time or place. But he is determined once they reach home, he's going to talk to the younger, no matter what it takes he is going to bring Tae back from his blank state, he promised to himself.

They reached the parking of their building. Jungkook parked his car and got out of it. Before could go and open the passenger door, Tae himself opened it and got down, he started walking towards the lift as if in a trance, the flower bouquet still in his hand. Jungkook looked anxiously at the boy walking in trance and followed him.

Once inside their apartment, Tae placed the bouquet carefully on the table and started walking to his room, not bothering about the other guy in the room.

"Tae?" Jungkook called him but no reaction, the younger kept walking.

"Tae, baby please" Jungkook desperately called him again but still Tae didn't react, it's like he can't even hear what the other guy is saying.

Jungkook couldn't take it anymore, there is no way he is letting Tae go without talking. He would be damned if he didn't do anything to bring Tae back from his trance.

So he went and back hugged Tae tightly, his hands wrapped around the younger's upper body, caging him in his arms, not letting him go.

"Please baby, please don't do this" he whispered in the younger boy's ear, voice pleading "please say something, anything, don't just stay silent. Please talk to me, I can't see you like this. It hurts to see you like this, so silent, so blank. I can't bear it." He buried his face in the younger's neck.

Tae still didn't say anything but Jungkook felt it, hot tear drops falling on his hands that were wrapped around the younger boy and then he hard sniffles that eventually turned into sobs.

Jungkook lifted his face from the younger's neck and gently turned the boy in his arms, facing him. Tae was sobbing hard by then.

Jungkook cupped his left cheek in his right hand and locked his eyes with the younger's teary ones "baby" he said in a pained voice.

"K..kookie, Eomma, E..eomma hates me, he h..hates me now Kookie" Tae cried out.

What an irony there Jin is thinking his son hates him now and here Tae is thinking his Eomma hates him. But the truth is they both love each way too much.

"No baby, it's not like that, Eomma doesn't hate you" Jungkook told the crying male.

"No no no you don't know Kookie, he hates me" Tae shook his head stubbornly, still crying "he shouted on me, he called me Kim Taehyung. He, he was going to slap me, he never raised his hand on me but today he did. I'm sure he hates me now, that's why." Tears flowed like river from his eyes.

Jungkook couldn't see him like that, he pulled the boy to his chest and hugged him "no baby he didn't do that because he hates you. He doesn't hate you, he can never do that he loves you so much. It's just that he was angry and hurt hearing you say all that, that's why he raised his hand but I'm sure he too is feeling bad for doing that" he tried make Tae understand.

Tae pulled back from the hug and looked into the older's eyes "really, you are sure, Eomma doesn't hate me now, he still loves me" he asked like an insecure child.

"Yes, I'm sure about it" Jungkook assured him.

Tae nodded his head hearing it but then again he cried "he is hurt, I hurt him, I always hurt everyone. I always cause problem. I'm bad. Everyone is suffering because of me. I....." He kept babbling not knowing how his words are affecting the other boy.

Jungkook felt his heart breaking into million pieces hearing Tae's words. He can't bear it when Tae blames himself, degrades himself like this.

"Tae!" Tae stopped talking hearing the pained heartbroken voice of Jungkook. He looked at the older, Jungkook's eyes held a shattered look in them, there was tears in his eyes.

Tae felt horrible seeing the older like that, he had promised himself that he won't ever let Jungkook cry yet now the older is having tears in his eyes and he is the one who caused it.

"Kookie... You..." Tae didn't get a chance to complete his words because Jungkook shut him with his lips.

Jungkook started kissing him, it was a totally different kiss from their earlier one's. It's a kiss full of pain, full of heartache. Tae could feel how much pain Jungkook is feeling in his kiss, he can taste Jungkook's tears in the kiss. He felt an ache in his heart feeling the older's pain. He wanted to take all his pains away, so he kissed him back. Tae wrapped his arms around Jungkook's neck and rubbed his nape as he kissed him back to take all his pain away.

Jungkook joined his forehead with the younger's as they broke the kiss "please baby don't ever say those things about yourself, I'm begging you. You can hurt me in any way you want but please don't ever blame or degrade yourself, it hurts me the most" he told Tae.

"I'm sorry Kookie, I so sorry, I hurt you" Tae said looking down "I won't ever say something like this, I promise you. Trust me Kookie I never wanted to hurt you, it's just that everything that happened today, it forced me to think like that" Jungkook placed his finger on Tae's lips, silencing him "ssh.. baby you don't have to explain anything to me. I know whatever happened today is too much for you. But please don't ever shut me out like today, whatever happens talk to me, don't keep your pains, worries buried in your heart, share it with me, I'm always here for you, you know that right?" He told the younger.

Tae nodded his head "I know you are here for me, I promise I won't do it again, I'll share my worries, pains with you but you have to do the same, promise me" he demanded.

"Okay I promise" Jungkook promised him. He picked Tae like a bride and took him inside his room and made him sit on his bed.

Jungkook left the room and came back with a glass water that he handed the younger who drank it thirstily. He then went to the wardrobe and took a pajama out of it.

Jungkook placed the dress on the bed and knelt in front of Tae "I got your pajama, please get changed. I'll go and change too" he got up and started walking but Tae clutched his hand "you are coming back here, right?" He asked like a scared insecure child.

Jungkook looked at him, eyes full of love "sure baby, you don't have to ask me. I'm not leaving you" he kissed the younger's forehead and left for his room.

When Jungkook came back after changing, he found Tae sill in the same position how he left him, sitting on the bed, hiding his face in his hands and the pajama was still on the bed, the boy didn't change.

Jungkook sighed looking at that. He took the pajama, went inside the washroom and placed it there. He came back into the room and picked the boy up in his arms.

Tae took his hands off his face feeling someone lifting him "what are you doing Kookie?" He asked.

"Taking you inside the washroom, what else" came the reply.

"But why are you carrying me, I can walk you know" Tae told the older.

"Because I like to carry you" Jungkook told him in a matter of fact voice.

Tae couldn't say anything after that.

Jungkook made him stand in the washroom "change your clothes, I'll be outside" he said and left from there, shutting the door.

Tae came out after changing, as soon as he stepped out Jungkook once again lifted him in his arms. This time Tae didn't say anything, he just wrapped his arms around Jungkook and buried his face in the older's neck.

Jungkook took him to the bed and laid him there, he to slid beside Tae and pulled the covers on themselves. Tae still had his face buried in the older's neck, Jungkook wrapped his one arm around Tae's body and kept stroking his hair with the other. Eventually the couple fell asleep comforted by each others warmth.

It was passed midnight, a thunderstorm was going outside. A couple was sleeping in their bed.

"Tae...."

Jin suddenly shouted, waking up from his sleep, sweating and shivering. He sat on the bed, tears flowing down his cheeks.

Namjoon too woke up hearing his husband's scream. He saw Jin's state and cupped his face "Jinnie what happened?" He asked worried.

"Joonie, Tae I saw Tae, there was blood, my Tae was lying in blood, Joonie my baby..." Jin cried out.

Namjoon understood that Jin had a nightmare, he pulled the crying male in his arms "please Jinnie don't cry, it's just a nightmare, nothing happened to our baby, he is okay" he assured his husband.

"Are you sure?" Jin asked him.

"Hmm I'm sure" Namjoon answered, just then a lightening struck making loud sound, Jin got startled.

"Joonie, it's thunderstorm! My Tae he is scared of it. What will he do alone?" He again cried.

Namjoon made his husband face him and cupped his face "he is not alone there. You know right, Jungkook is with him. He'll take care of him" he told Jin.

"Hmm you are right, he is not alone" Jin said as if assuring himself "Jungkook is with him, he saved my baby. I need to thank him" he looked at Namjoon "Joonie we need to thank Jungkook, he saved our child" he said.

"Okay okay we will thank him. I told you right, we will visit them tomorrow, we will thank him then" Namjoon said to him "but now you need to sleep, it's late. Now come let's sleep" he made Jin sleep and he too slept hugging him.

A loud thundering sound woke Jungkook up from his sleep. He felt Tae trembling in his arms. He realized a thunderstorm is going outside and Tae is scared of that. He immediately pulled the trembling boy more into his arms, there was no space left between them.

"Ssh.. baby, it's okay, don't be scared, I'm here, I'm with you" he whispered in the younger's ears, rubbing his back soothingly. Jungkook kept murmuring sweet nothings in Tae's ears, assuring the boy of his presence which finally seemed work because eventually Tae stopped trembling and once again fell into peaceful sleep.

It was a long dark night.
