What is the most dangerous human emotion?

Some of you would say it's hatred, some other would say it's anger because both of these emotions can bring great destruction. And then there are people who would tell you that the most dangerous human emotion is nothing but love, for just like it can bring great happiness, it can bring greatest pains too.

But if you ask me, the most dangerous human emotion, according to me, is Guilt. Because what it brings with itself is not destruction but self destruction. It feeds on your darkest, most self loathing thoughts, like a termite it eats you from inside. Little by little it kills you from within.

And that's what is happening to Jungkook. Seeing his love suffering everyday in front of his eyes, it's filling his heart with guilt. Though he tries to stay strong, stay positive for Tae's sake, with every passing day it's becoming harder to do that. Guilt is consuming his whole self, he has started to believe that he is the one who is causing his love pain. With every drop of tear that Tae shades, Jungkook is dieing a little inside.

Lost in his own misery, trapped in his own fears and insecurities, Tae has no idea what his sufferings are doing to Jungkook. Because Jungkook had hid all his pains from Tae, he had locked his hurt, pain, anguish, agony, everything inside his heart. Not letting anyone see how he is suffering along with Tae.

But as I had said earlier, every human has a certain breaking point and Jungkook is no exception to it, sooner or later he was bound to break. And seems like today is that day when it happened. After bearing everything for all these days, not letting anyone know about his pain and anguish, Jungkook finally snapped today. He broke down, all the emotions that he had bottled up inside him flowed down his cheeks in the form of tears. His guilt took the form of words and escaped through his lips.

"." Jungkook spoke out in a guilty voice, his face still buried in Tae's shoulder, sobs still leaving his lips.

"KOOKIE" Tae shouted as soon as he heard Jungkook saying those words. For a moment he felt like he can't breathe as he caught the guilt in Jungkook's tone. And then he snapped, he just snapped. After ten long days some other emotion apart from pain and anguish, appeared on his face. That emotion is anger. Tae is angry, like really very angry.

Tae forcefully separated Jungkook from himself and held the older's shoulders, he stared deeply into Jungkook's tears filled eyes with his angry one's.

"What did you say?" He demanded angrily and Jungkook lowered his eyes "I am asking you something Kookie, answer me, answer me why did you say that?" His whole face was red, he was fuming in anger.

At that moment, Tae looked totally like his older self, the old Taehyung, who wouldn't spare anyone who dares to bad mouth his husband, it doesn't matter if that person is his husband himself.

"Why are you not answering me, answer me Jeon Jungkook what did you mean by that, that you ruined my life?" He again shouted.

"Because that is the truth." Jungkook finally opened his mouth "what I said is true. I ruined you. You became like this only because of me. I am the cause of your every pain. Everything happened because of me, because of my carelessness. Because I acted ignorantly. I didn't call you, I didn't tell you that I missed that flight, how could I do that? I knew you were waiting for me yet I didn't tell you that I will be late. I didn't even check if my phone had enough charge or not. How much more foolish, ignorant I could have been?"

Tae stared wide eyed at the man in front of him who was looking so broken,blaming himself for everything that happened, while Tae more than anyone else knew that none of it was Jungkook's fault. With every word that Jungkook spoke Tae's heart broke a little more. While he did know that Jungkook is suffering, maybe even more than him, seeing him like that, he had no idea that Jungkook is blaming himself for his condition. Tae didn't have any idea Jungkook was getting consumed by guilt. That he had started thinking himself as the reason for Tae's every misery.

Once again tears started pouring down Tae's eyes, this time those are not the tears of his own misery, today Tae is shedding tears for the love of his life. He cried for Jungkook, knowing how much Jungkook has been suffering for all these days, how he is getting eaten by guilt, how he is blaming himself for Tae's every pain and misery. Tae felt angry at himself, he had promised that he will never let Jungkook cry yet here Jungkook is crying, blaming himself and he didn't even notice what his Kookie was going through for all these days.

Jungkook was still going on, still lowering his eyes, kept talking and blaming himself "you are suffering so much just because of me. I am the reason for your every pain, every misery. You were better off without me. I shouldn't have come into your life. I ruined your life, I………"

Tae couldn't take it anymore, he couldn't hear Jungkook's self degrading words anymore. He pushed Jungkook back and charged on him, more like charged on his lips.

Tae started kissing Jungkook with aggression.He held Jungkook's hair in his fist and started sucking and biting Jungkook's lips forcefully. He bit his lower lip so hard that it started bleeding. It was as if he was punishing Jungkook for saying those things about himself, for degrading himself. While Tae kissed him aggressively, Jungkook stayed still, he was stunned by Tae's action, the way Tae was kissing, it's like the old Tae came back. As Tae bit his lower hard making it bleed "aah.." Jungkook moaned and Tae pushed his tongue inside the older's mouth, sucking his tongue hard, tasting his insides.

"How dare you say that?" Tae said on Jungkook's lips once he broke the kiss for air "how dare you say all those things? No forget saying how could you even think like that?" He asked "how dare you blame yourself? Who gave you the right to do that, huh? You are Mine, only I have the right to think and say anything I want to about you. And did I ever blame you? What were you saying, oh I remember it now" he kept talking looking deep into Jungkook's eyes "you ruined me,huh, really Kookie? You are saying that you ruined me, you who actually saved me from all my foolishness. What else were you saying, that I would have been better off without you, you really think so? Let me tell you how it would have been if you hadn't come into my life, my life would have been meaningless if you hadn't come into it. I would have lived my whole life without knowing what true love is, without feeling it. You say that I am suffering because of you, no Kookie, I am suffering because of my fear of losing you but you have not part in invoking that fear into me. What happened was an accident, all of it. You might have forgotten to call me but that was all of it, you didn't make that flight crash into sea, you didn't put your name on that list. It was all an accident, a misunderstanding. You have no fault in any of those. So stop blaming and degrading yourself. And also what more did you say? You said that you are the cause of all my pain. Wrong, you are the cure to all my pains."

"Then why are you still not cured?" Jungkook asked him, tears still flowing from his eyes "why are you still living in fear? Why are you still so insecure?"

Tae was suddenly tongue tied hearing these questions, but still he tried to say something "Kookie I……" but Jungkook didn't let him say anything, because he continued with his own questions.

"Why are you still not back to yourself? Why do you still leave in fear? Why do you still cry so much? I spend every moment with you, I try to assure you that I am not leaving you, I am not going anywhere, don't I? Then why don't you believe me? Why do you always plead with me not to leave you? Plead, you plead me Tae! You never did that before all this happened. From the very first day of our marriage, you always demanded, you always used to demand from me, order me. That's how our relationship is, you are never supposed to be pleading with me, you are supposed to be demanding from me. But now all you do is plead, even just a few moments back you were pleading with me to sing for you, why so? Nowadays you don't get angry on me if I do anything stupid, you don't call me stupid bunny anymore, why? Why are you not living your life like how you supposed? Why do you refuse to leave this apartment and go out? Why are you giving up on your dreams? You want to join SNU, you want to become a photographer then why did you stop working for this dream of yours? Why don't you laugh anymore? Why don't you talk like before?" Jungkook kept talking "it hurts, it hurts so much to see you like this. It's like someone is stabbing my heart again and again. I can't bear this pain anymore Tae. Seeing you suffering like this, I feel like I will die……"

"Kookie!" Tae placed his palm on Jungkook's lips as soon as he heard the word 'die', stopping him from saying anything more "don't, don't say that word, don't you dare say that" he warned Jungkook "you want me to become the old me, right? I will, will be for you, from this very moment I will become the old me. It hurts you to see me crying, suffering right? Then I won't cry anymore, I won't suffer. You don't want me to live in fear anymore, right? Then I won't, from this moment I will fight my fears. You don't want me to plead with you, right? Then I won't, I won't plead with you to stay with me, I am demanding that you have to stay with me forever. You want me to get angry at you, right? Then I will, I am going to be so angry at you if you don't take care of yourself. You want me to work for my dreams, right? I will, I am going to work hard to achieve my dreams. You want me to talk like before, right? Then I will get ready to listen to my blabbering all the time." He cupped Jungkook's face in his small hands "It hurts you so much to see me like this, right? Then I won't be like this anymore. I will change back to my old self, I will bring myself back, I will move on from that cursed day, I will do it all. Do you know Kookie why I will do all this?" He asked Jungkook.

"Why?" Jungkook asked like an innocently like a little kid.

"For You, Because I Love You Kookie" Tae told him "I love you so very much, that I will do anything and everything for you." He placed his lips on Jungkook's, this time kissing him softly "kiss me back" he demanded as he realized Jungkook is not kissing him back.

Jungkook finally smiled on Tae's lips, hearing his demanding tone. Tae took his lips off Jungkook's feeling the other's smile on his lips "why are you smiling like a fool you stupid bunny, I told you kiss me, come on kiss me" he said and again started kissing Jungkook who this time responded immediately by kissing him back. Jungkook's heart finally felt light, his Tae, his baby, his Angel is coming back to his real self.

"Kookie promise me one thing" Tae demanded as he broke the kiss and Jungkook touched his forehead with his "you will never again blame yourself for whatever happened. You will never again say, no, not even think that you are the cause of my pain. Promise me that you will never again say what you said today that you ruined me, you will never even let that thought enter your mind, promise me" Tae said Jungkook.

"I promise" Jungkook replied "I will never blame myself, I will never say what I said today, I promise you that." Like always Jungkook abided by Tae's demand.

"My good bunny," Tae said and pulled Jungkook's head to his chest. He wrapped his arms around his husband as he hugged him close to his heart "I love you so much, my stupid innocent bunny" Tae told Jungkook.

"I love you too Angel, my good baby" Jungkook replied immediately and a beautiful smile bloomed on Tae's plump lips, he tightened his arms around his Kookie and kissed the top of his head.

The couple sat there, in that cozy balcony, bathing in the rays of afternoon sun, basking in each other's warmth. Jungkook had his face buried in Tae's chest, hands wrapped around the younger's waist. Tae was holding Jungkook close to his heart with one hand and running his other hand through the older's hair and back, providing him the comfort of his touch.

For all these days Jungkook held Tae close to heart to make him feel secure and today Tae is doing the same thing for him. So far it was Jungkook who always soothed Tae, comforted him with his touch and today Tae is comforting him, soothing him in the same way. Until now whenever Tae broke down Jungkook held him together, he stayed strong for him and today when Jungkook was breaking down Tae held him tightly together, today it's Tae who stayed strong when Jungkook was getting weak.

Well that is how their relationship has always been, whenever one of them fell weak, the other stayed strong for the sake of his love, holding him together.

As he was sitting there holding his love close to his heart, Tae felt that Jungkook was dozing off. He peered down at his most favorite face in the world.

"Kookie?" Tae called.

"Umm" came the reply.

"Let's go, get inside," Tae said.

"No" Jungkook whined "I am sleepy, let me sleep."

Tae smiled hearing his husband's cute whine. "I will let you sleep if you go inside. Please bunny it's getting cold here, let's go in and sleep" he tried to make the sleepy boy agree with him.

"No I won't go" Jungkook was still not ready to get up.

"Do you want me to carry you then?" Tae asked teasingly.

"You can't"

"Wanna try me?"

"No, I will go by myself" Jungkook finally pulled his face away from Tae's chest and started getting up with his eyes still half closed.

Tae chuckled and shook his head at his husband's antics. He too stood up. He held Jungkook's hand and took the half asleep man inside.

Once inside, Tae took his half asleep husband to the bed and made him sleep on it. Almost immediately Jungkook pulled him down and Tae fell on the bed too. Tae sat on the bed and Jungkook put his head on the younger's lap and buried his face in his stomach. Tae pulled the covers on Jungkook and started running his fingers in the older's hair to make him sleep.

After some time Tae felt that Jungkook had slipped into deep slumber. He gently put Jungkook's head on the pillow and made him sleep on his back. He left the bed and came back after sometime holding a tube of ointment in his hand. He took some of it on his finger and very gently applied it on Jungkook's lip, on the cut that he gave him while kissing.

As Tae was applying the ointment on the cut, he remembered how mercilessly he bit Jungkook yet Jungkook didn't even hiss. Though it must have hurt him, he kept quiet. A tear rolled down Tae's eyes as he stared affectionately at the sleeping face of the man he loves.

"Why are you like this?" He murmured "why do you never let anyone know about your pains? Why do you keep enduring it all alone, my innocent bunny? Why do you only keep caring and worrying about me but not for yourself? Why do you always do everything for me but never ask anything in return, hmm? " He asked. "But I won't let you endure it alone anymore. Enough with my fears, I won't let my fears break you anymore You have cared enough for me, you did enough, now it's my turn to do everything for you, to take care of you." Tae said, "You have always been the best husband for me, my perfect Kookie and now it's my turn to make myself a better husband for you, I know I might never be able to become as perfect as you, but I'll try my best to be one for you. I won't fall weak anymore, I won't suffer anymore because now I know that seeing me suffering you suffer even more and I won't let that happen." Tae wiped the tears that had escaped his eyes, bending his head down he placed his lips on Jungkook's forehead "I love you so much Kookie, I promise I will give you every happiness in the world because you My Love deserve to be happy more than anyone else in the world" he promised as he lovingly kissed his sleeping husband's forehead "sleep my love, sleep without any worry, for I am okay now, I will be for you. I am here for you so sleep peacefully" Tae once again placed Jungkook's head on his lap who immediately buried his face in his stomach and murmured "I love you Angel" making Tae smile.

And Jungkook did sleep peacefully. After days of anguish and torment, he finally slept peacefully knowing that his love, his Tae is going to be okay now.
