I set my mail down on the table, taking the newspaper over to my small couch. I've been looking at job openings, waiting for something that fits me. I plan on getting a degree someday, but I need a job before that. I flip through the paper, my eyes scanning job posting after job posting. I stop the minute I see an easy one.

Maid for Hire.

Easy enough. I was a maid for most of my life. How hard can it be? I look at the contact info, dialing the phone number. A male voice answers the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hi. I'm calling about the 'Maid for Hire' job posting in the newspaper."

"Have you ever had any maid experience before?"

"Yes I have."

"Can I ask who with? I also need their contact info."

"Actually, it was you, Mr. Scotch."
