Narrator's POV
Early in the morning the two dominants awoke and rushed up stairs to Steel's bedroom to calls of distress. There they found a crying Shadow in the bathroom, curled up against the toilet.
"Shadow? What happened? Are you alright?" Steel asked. Only whimpers came from him. Scourge's eyes widen.
"This isn't the first time I've seen this. We need to get him to a doctor for a check up." He said soon picking and taking him down stairs and getting ready to leave.
"Scourge, what's going on?" Asked Steel.
"Come with me..."
Scourge's POV
"Pregnant?!" Asked Steel completely shocked. He looked at me.
"Thank you Doctor..." I shook his hand before taking Shadow out on a wheelchair. He felt dizzy and nauseous.
"Wait Scourge, you never told me Shadow was capable of getting pregnant!" Steel was still trying to get his mind wrapped around the whole idea.
"Yes, okay. I'll explain later." I told him, what was in my mind was the baby. Would it survive this time? How did Shadow become a herm again? Who's child is he carrying? "Steel, that night we fought, did you..."
"Of course not, I went straight to bed." He told me. By the tone of his voice, I could tell he was very confused and shocked. He didn't do it, and I didn't do it.
Narrator's POV
"Okay, it was a while back...but Shadow and I were gonna have a child. We named him Derek and..."
Scourge explained everything to Steel, every detail. How they were so happy to be parents and how they were gonna prepare the baby's room. But that one day arrived, when their baby was no longer a living soul. Shadow became depressed and sad. He was torn...he even died trying to find his way back to happiness...but was revived by his best friend.

"That's why we have to care of this child and Shadow the best we can. This child will sure impact our lives, but most of all Shadow's. So we have to be careful around him alright?" Scourge asked Steel.
"I'll use all my strength and power to protect him and the baby." Steel promised.
"Good, now... I bet it's gonna be a boy. You get the girl." Scourge smirked.
"You're on!" Steel laughed. Shadow was sleeping up in Scourge's bedroom.

Midara: Requiem
"When the alternative is extinction, all acts, no matter how heinous, are permitted." The story of a little necromancer who only wants to play with abominations against all that is holy dollies and her horsey, Mister Clackybones. Welcome to the novelization of one script I designed for a video game setting I call Midara (I selected the name of a genus of moths for symbolism purposes, not to be confused with anything else). Once upon a time, I dreamed of the setting being the next Final Fantasy. Long story short: Nope. Requiem itself is meant to be an Open-World RPG which adapts to the choices of the player. This is just one of many, many paths that one might follow in Requiem's gameplay, if it ever becomes a game.

Upheaval - The Gentle Apocalypse
The world is changing, but people carry on. Early in the summer, the world started changing. It is not known who first found out, but magic was real, or had become real. Of course, with the world as interconnected as it is, it took only two days for most people to know about it. Online groups sprang up, eager to test humanity’s collective new toy. Quickly, it was found out that it was all but harmless; there were (unconfirmed) reports of deaths as soon as the first day. Nevertheless, it is a novelty to most, trying it out like you’d try sports or a game. The world marches on as scientists set out to study this new phenomenon, to use it for furthering our collective knowledge and to understand it. But that won’t show any results any time soon; it is only five days since the “Reveal” meanwhile I’m out camping. I had planned this since March, to unwind from sixteen years of studying. Finally! Finally I am done with school! Getting a job is another matter… So I figured, with this magic stuff, why not try out meditating on it? I’ve enjoyed more than enough books and other media that at least some of the magic methods should be viable. Turns out, the world might not let me relax. R15+ Coarse language and adult themes.
