《Destiny That Binds Us》23: You need to calm down

The night was foggy and through the fog, the moonlight gleamed mysteriously that slid through the curtains.
Beautiful, isn't it?
A BIG No!!
It's hella creepy in this huge dinosaur sized room.
"Okay this is one of the worst decisions ever. Worse than agreeing to this marriage" I was mumbling to myself as I moved towards his bed, which was opposite to the couch.
Wish me luck, I am going to wake him up, Right now!!
Why??
Because I am stupid.
Why did I even decide to sleep on this freaking outfit??
The design work on this dress was constantly pricking, annoying me, while the fabric was too heavy, making it too difficult for me to fall asleep, while my brain lowkey wanted a rest.
Okay, so why am I waking him up??
Cause the freaking closet of his, isn't opening for God's sake.
For the past 10 minutes, I invested all my energy trying to open that closet but it refuses to open. Unless--
He locked it??
Yeah, he would have done that virtuous deed.
'But well, that's not your closet, so that you can just barge in' My mind snapped back.
Yep that's true.
I have been ranting to myself for almost an hour, so it must be around 3:30 in the morning, I guess.
With my eyelids drooping, begging me for some sleep, I moved to his side of the bed and tried a lot for my eyes to adjust to the darkness.
But I couldn't see a bit in the darkness.
"Vikram" I whispered.
Why am I even whispering?
"Vikram" I raised my voice.
"Vikram, wake up" I raised my voice a little more.
Okay, I hope he doesn't kill me for waking him up in the middle of the night, coz if I was getting disturbed from my sleep, I wouldn't refuse to kill the person in front of me.
Periodt.
"Vikrammm, wake up you dumb head" I mentally slammed my head.
Deep dreams, huh Mr.Narcissist?
Now watch this.
Tracing my fingers over the nearby table, like a blind woman, I located the glass jug, which I had seen there earlier that night.
It is of use now. Nevermind.
"Okay, good luck Mr.Narcissist" I whispered as I took a step back and threw the water from the water jug vigorously on him.
Still no reaction??
Wait---Is this guy dead??
He died??
Confused, I located the nearby bed lamp with great difficulty and switched the lights on and---
I discovered that I was talking to pillows and bedsheets like a mad woman. With his pillows drenched in water.
Annoyed, I turned back as my eyes grew wide as I found him standing there, staring at me with his arms folded against his chest.
"What were you even trying to do?" He twitched his eyebrows.
"Huh--no--Was just drinking some water" I shrugged nervously, as he gave me 'Do-you-think-I-am-that-dumb-to-believe-that' look.
"Huh--Well I was just...trying to wake you up for-- I wanted to change my dress, so--" I grimaced.
He is definitely going to murder me and bury me under his bed.
Or think, I am from the asylum.
"So why don't you just get the dress from the closet rather than pouring water on me?" He asked annoyed.
"Well, the closet was closed, so I had to wake you up---" I dragged the sentence hoping he would understand.
"Who would even lock a closet?" He sounded annoyed.

You, of course!
"I don't know, maybe--some Ghosts?"
Shit, why did I even say that?
"Yeah must be the one,in that corner " He gave a smug look and moved towards the closet.
I turned back to have a look at the corner he pointed to, which was near my couch.
Okay, I am not going to sleep tonight.
"Planning to go on a date with him?"
Okay who is that him?
"I meant the ghost over there" He smirked on reading my mind, as I rushed towards the closet and stood next to him.
"Open the Door" I rushed him, annoyed.
Just two more hours, I can have breakfast.
"It's not locked" He put his head up annoyed.
"Really, look at this" I snapped at him, as I pushed the door real hard, with my hands pushing and toes against the floor putting equal force.
"See, I told you," I said, still balancing to push the door.
"It's supposed to be a sliding door" He said in a low tone, with his right hand on his forehead.
"Huh?" I stood numb, as he moved forward and slid the door to the left as the room was accessible.
Okay, I am embarrassed.
"I thought you had to go for an eye check up. But, looks like you have to go for a brain checkup" He smirked and moved towards his bed.
Why do I keep embarrassing myself?? And that too in front of this guy??
Mentally slamming my head, I entered the closet and closed it behind, and it literally took 2 whole minutes to compose myself.
The closet was neatly organized with my clothes on the left and his on the right.
I walked along the left side searching for an outfit for now.
And I was in no mood to be surprised on seeing the outfits and the different colours and varieties of bag and accessories in a different cupboard, a little away.
I just realized my whole room along with Megha's, combined together will still look small compared to the closet's size.
I picked up a casual T-Shirt and pants, and sighed in relief, as I threw the lehenga away and jumped into the casuals.
After using the restroom, which was connected with the closet, I moved back to the room and--that guy was still not there.
I turned around and saw him standing in the balcony staring somewhere far away.
Well I guess he was there, when I was busy pouring water on his pillows.
I hope, just hope, he didn't see me talking like an idiot to his pillows. I turned off the bed lamp next to the bed and moved to the couch with finally relieved from that old dress.
Good night!
With eyelids drooping, I closed my eyes with sleep overtaking me, as I suddenly opened and gawked at the corner of the room near the couch he had pointed.
Well, not a good night!

Megha stepped out of the car with a huge cardboard box and closed the door with her leg.
Suhana's costume bags were sent long back, and she was now here to deliver some of her college and personal stuff that was lying at her home.
Without ringing the bell, or knocking, Megha barged inside Malhotra's mansion as she saw Mrs. Varsha Malhotra in the living room, busy talking with someone.

"Where is Suhana?" Megha asked impatiently, with her slippers tapping on the floor.
"Megha, it's good to see you here" Varsha disconnected the call as she saw Megha, and welcomed with a small smile.
"Well, not for me, Care to explain where she is?" She said with a curt face.
"Upstairs, in her room, I guess" Varsha answered confused, as Megha moved towards the circular stairs.
"Megha?" Rohit's low voice stopped her midway on the stairs, as he was descending down the stairs, while she was moving up.
Pretending to ignore his presence, she moved to the other corner and paced upstairs.
"Are you still mad at me" He followed her upstairs.
"You have to listen to me," He continued when she decided not to reply to him.
"Megha, please stop. Don't you have anything to say to me?" He asked with a puppy face, even though he knew that wouldn't help him in any way.
"Hmm--NO!" She snapped at him with a straight face, " But my slippers do have something to tell you. Wanna listen?" He remained still, as she raised her eyebrows and continued,"Don't forget that we broke up" she added and left the place.
"Megha?" Suhana asked, confused on seeing her standing in front of the bedroom with a box in her hand.
"Yes, the one and only" She shrugged as she put the box on the nearby table.
Within no time, she dragged Suhana along with her and sat on the couch.
"Tell me, did he ill treat you? Or worse Misbehave with you?" Megha asked with a serious face.
"He?? Who is that 'He'??" Suhana asked, confused on seeing her behaviour.
"How many guys are you married to? Of course I meant Vikram" She said annoyed.
"Ohh Vikram, yeah he--"
"What did he do?" Megha placed her hand on Suhana, shocked.
"He--made me sleep on the couch," Suhana said dramatically.
"That's better than what I had imagined. But yeah, don't worry I will give him some good advice that he will sleep in his restroom tonight" Megha smirked with an evil plan running on her mind.
"Forget that, How's mom and dad?" Suhana asked eagerly.
"Well not exaggerating , but you just left yesterday. But to be frank, they are happy without you" Suhana hit her playfully.
"Hope you aren't doing breakfast today" Megha asked.
"Should I?" Suhana asked sluggishly.
"You better don't"
"Aye, Aye Captain. Anyways what is that box?" Suhana pointed to the box.
"Oh that, some of your college paper assignments, books and a parcel you had received today. So I thought I would come here using that excuse and meet you" Megha adjusted her nerd glasses.
"Is there zowm rule like I have to cook today?" Suhana asked Varsha doubtfully, in the living hall, as Megha had left a while ago.
"It's just a custom, but that's not needed. Well breakfast is ready already, we will all have it together in a while " Varsha answered with a smile, as she indicated to her to sit beside.
"Oh, Okay"
"You know to cook?" Varsha questioned doubtfully.
"Oh yeah. Noodles, Sandwiches, Pastas, the basics you know." Suhana grimaced, mentally slamming herself for saying all of those.
"Haha, Nevermind. We have a cook, and she will take care of that"
"Good for me," Suhana said within herself, sighing in relief.

"Where the hell were you the last two days?" Aisha asked Suhana annoyed.
"Well, she was busy dodging our calls and annoying us" Ankita said pissed off.
"Uh--I actually--misplaced my phone somewhere else--forget that. Tell me why you called?" Suhana tried to divert the talk.
"Well, remember we had planned to go for an internship, so that it would be useful for us after graduation?
Well we both got placed as interns in a private hospital. We had called so that you would also apply with us, but you were too busy, I guess" Ankita said with a glum face.
"I am so sorry girls, don't worry I will apply today" Suhana shrugged, trying to cheer them up.
"Yeah, we hope the applications aren't closed yet" Aisha sounded upset.
2 days had passed away in a swift and it was already Monday, as Suhana was trying her level best to be extra careful and not to blabber something out of her own habit.
After their classes were over, Aisha had left to her home in her car, as Ankita and Suhana moved to the bus stop, as usual.
"So how's everyone at home?" Ankita asked, as they both reached the bus stop.
"Yeah good, well yeah my bus is here, I gotta go, Bye" Suhana waved and moved towards the heading bus.
"But that bus...It won't take you to your home?" Ankita asked confused, as Suhana paused on her tracks.
"Huh--yes-no-huh--I think it does--"Suhana said confused, unable to think of a better excuse.
"You know what?
Either you are planning to dump me here and have some food somewhere... or else, you are hiding something really big. So tell me the truth!" Ankita crossed her arms against her chest.
"Huhh-" Suhana gazed at the bus that was ready to move.
"I just thought of going to--" Suhana started as a middle aged man approached them.
"Mam, the car is waiting for you"
"What? For me? Sorry, I didn't book for a Cab" Ankita said with a smug look.
"Not you, it's for Suhana madam. Varsha madam had asked me to pick you up." The man said calmly, unaware of the upcoming storm, as Suhana eyed him to leave immediately.
"Wait--wait. Suhana mam??
Why did Mrs.Malhotra send a car for you??" Ankita's head started itching with perplexity.
"Yeah, you can wait near the car, I will come" Suhana said in a stern low voice, as the man nodded and left the place.
"What the hell is happening here? Is that a Benz car?? Wait--what?? Why would she send a car for you??"
"Wait--first, You need to calm down.
I was just planning to meet her regarding Megha and Rohit, so she must have thought to--send a car" Suhana smiled to herself of finally being able to think of an excuse.
"Suhana?" Ankita called doubtfully.
"Huh?"
"Do you know that your eyes turn into green colour when you lie? " Ankita asked with a serious face.
"What the crap!! It's green??" Panicked,Suhana traced her fingers over her eyes vigorously.
"So you were indeed lying" Ankita rolled her eyes, knowing Suhana fell into her trap.
"Ughh god!! I am such a bummer" Suhana facepalmed.
