"Okay now will you tell me why you brought me here?" Ankita kept pestering me, as we entered the cafe.
I think I would be able to cajole her only by getting her some food.
Hope I succeed!
"I will tell you, first tell me shall I order your favourite Pumpkin Spice Latte like usual?" I gave in a mischievous grin, while my mind was already rehearsing the different ways to tell her that I am married to the Narcissist.
"Stop with this act and tell me, What are you upto?"
"Huh-nothing at all" I shrugged.
"You barely even take me to our college canteen, and now you brought me to this cafe? This is not like the Suhana I know" Her eyes scanned my face doubtfully, as if she was Mrs.Sherlock Holmes.
I don't think food will help me anyway.
"Okay fine. Let me tell you--"
"Good. Spill the beans, Now!" Anki bent forward, with her hands resting on the table, eagerly waiting for me to complete.
"--I am married " I gasped, while her eyes remained still with no reaction.
"Haha, Nice joke. Next time come up with a better one" She leaned back on the chair annoyed.
Huh?
"I am not joking here. I am serious " I was piqued.
I am already resenting on coming to college today.
"You gotta be kidding me" Anki's expression slowly changed on seeing my face.
"Well unfortunately...No" I grimaced.
"Holy Shnookerdookies! Do I look like a --" She raised her voice to the maximum, as I shushed her to remain silent, considering the place we were in.
"What shh? Wait-- I am going to kill you today girl" She picked up the small butter knife that was in the nearby table and pointed at my neck.
"Anki, calm down. Calm down!" I actioned my hands asking her to calm down and spare me.
"My foot! Wait let me call Aisha right away and--" She picked up the phone from her bag, while the other hand with the knife was still pointing at me.
"Wait--first listen to me. I was blackmailed into this marriage! " I said sternly as her eyes withdrew from her phone, shocked.
"What?? Are you serious-- Wait, First tell me whom are you married to?" Her jaw dropped down as she dramatically sat down on her chair.
"That annoying Vi--"
"Vivaan? Holy crap!
I am not leaving home, without shredding him to pieces today!" She said furiously.
"Will you please let me finish. It's Vikram and not Vivaan" I rolled my eyes.
"Ohh--Vikram huh!" She grinned like a Cheshire cat.
"Stop with that creepy smile!"
"Come on, you knew I was already shipping you guys. Well so -- wait, first tell me why I wasn't invited " Her happy mood changed from 100 to 0 immediately.
We took our own time in the cafe as I told her everything about how Mrs.Malhotra's blackmailed and how Megha and Rohits's life were also trapped amidst all the problems, and how I was left with no choice
"Oh God, I wish I was by your side. But why is this kept as a secret?" She asked with a glum face.
"I have no idea about that. We were just not allowed to invite anyone else apart from close family. I am so sorry Anki"

"It's okay, what can we do about that now? Somethings are not in our control" She sighed.
Thank God!
"Aisha knows?" She asked all of a sudden, "Of course not" I shrugged as my phone beeped.
"Hubby huh?" Anki gave in a smug look as I grabbed my phone from my bag and had a look at the Caller ID.
"You wish! It's Aishu" My eyebrows creased as I picked up the call.
"Suha, where are you? I want to meet you now" She sounded impatient.
"Woah wait--I am in the cafe near our college with Anki" I blurted it out.
"You guys are together? Anyways, I am on my way. See you there" She immediately hung the call.
"What's wrong with this girl?" I asked Anki confused, as she shrugged and gave a 'Come-on-she-is-our-friend-what-else-can-you-expect' look
"So, are you planning to tell this to Aishu?" Anki asked questioningly.
"Of course, you want me to die in her hands?" I counter-replied.
"No it's just---Nevermind" Anki shrugged of the topic.
"Come on, tell me what it is!" I rolled my eyes.
"We both know that Aisha and her brother are close. If you tell her--won't that guy also know? I mean, I don't know about you, but I honestly feel that Vivaan is creepy as hell" Anki shook her dramatically.
"Come on, he isn't that worse" I shrugged.
"Please Suha!
Please don't tell me you still have feelings for him" Anki rolled her eyes as she picked up the same butter knife she had dropped a few minutes ago.
"No no, of course not. But it's just-- I loved him once...and I just can't hate him all of a sudden but I--"
"--still have a soft corner for him?" Anki raised her eyebrows.
"I mean--" I shrugged searching for the right word.
"Whatever it is..Throw it in the dustbin right away, because you belong to someone else now" She winked.
"I don't belong to anyone. I am a free bird and he has also ensured that he won't be interfering in my life " I grinned widely.
Atleast not everything is gloomy in my life right now!
"What?? He said that? But why? I don't understand he sent you those gifts and--"
"No, he didn't send those Anki. I am now confused on who is trying to mess up my life" I said befuddled.
"But did you receive any parcel recently?" Ankita's eyes grew wide with burning curiosity.
"Nope" I twitched my mouth, considering that not only my current situation but my whole life is chaotic.
We were having the latte we had ordered, and talking unusual and completely useless stuff for the next 10 minutes, waiting for Aisha.
As we were wondering if she would turn up or not, Aisha rushed into the cafe along with a girl.
Now who is she?
"Anki and Suha, Meet my friend Koyel and koyel meet my friends"
"Oh..Hi Koyel" Me and Anki said chorously, as they both sat on the empty chairs beside us.
"So Aisha, have you told them?" Koyel asked Aisha.
Meanwhile me and Anki were busy exchanging glances asking 'What-is-going-on-here?'
"Huh- no. Well Suha, this is Koyel. She is working as a journalist in a news channel" Aisha stated, "Okay?" I dragged the word vaguely.
"Well, as we all know...you were so upset when your family was bashed and humiliated in the newspapers and social media when Vikram announced back during the Engagement.
"Yeah--" My eyebrows creased, perplexed with the fact of where this topic was heading to.

"Well Koyel came forward to help us regarding that" Aisha leaned back as she completed her part.
"Help? Like what?" I asked the pink hair-dyed girl who was sitting opposite to me.
"He defamed you and your whole family and we all know that. But it's not right for you to remain silent. So why don't you give a statement about how he blackmailed you to do the engagement and how he is at fault in this and blamed you in front of everyone. It's your turn now" She said with the pen in between her fingers.
"So you want me to take revenge and defame him?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Of course, we need to show that you aren't scared of opening up about an arrogant businessman. Let everyone know about their family and you are innocent." Koyel exclaimed.
"First of all, Neither did he blame me nor did he portray that it was my fault. He in fact put the blame on himself the other day.
Secondly, I am not scared, but just because you want to make this into some crazy interesting news, I am not going to your source of information.
Thirdly, I won't spare you if I come to know that you are going around hunting for information about our personal life." I was aggrieved with the outcome of her antagonistic need for degrading someone.
"What is this Aisha? You said, she would help me?" She pounced on Aisha.
"If you are done with your drama, can you please move from this table" Anki asked Koyel with a not-so-sweet face.
"I am sorry Koyel, I --" Aisha stammered, as Anki interrupted, " Better you also leave with her Aishu"she said annoyed.
"Don't think so high about yourself, I know how to make the news. Just wait and watch" She gave a smug look and left the cafe.
After ensuring that the pink panther had left, "Aisha--seriously??" Anki rolled her eyes.
"What's your problem guys. Suha, you were the one who was extremely depressed for two weeks straight when all that happened, and now--wait...Are you in love with him? Is that why you are defending him for everything he did?" Aisha put her hands up in the air.
"What? No!
That girl, Koyel, literally wanted me to slander Vikram so that she could damage his reputation. You couldn't understand this much from her talk?" I was vexed.
"What is the need to talk about it after these many weeks?" I questioned her.
"Yeah, you are right. I didn't think deep considering she was my friend. She just turned up home today and asked if she could help you in any way. I just thought she might be of some help for you" She shrugged.
"Defaming him will not get me anything. So now, let's drop that topic" I sighed.
"-And talk about the new blooming love for your fake boyfriend " Aisha smiled, mocking me.
"Haha, you mean husband?" Aisha interrupted as I mentally slammed my head.
"What--?"
There you go, Again.
Time for another panic attack.
"Seriously suha and you had planned not to tell me?" Aisha said vexed as Ankita and I explained everything regarding the past four days.
"Well where is it?" Aisha exclaimed.
"What?" I asked, confused. "Your nuptial chain of course" Ankita laughed out.
It took me a lot of efforts to hide the nuptial chain below my outfit in the morning, as I didn't want to get caught before them.
But it was too late, because I was already caught.
And Anki did the deeds of explaining how I was an idiot in the bus stop and after a lot of chit chat and they both cursing me for the hundredth time, we left home.

It was around 9pm, as I was going through my study materials on the couch. With curiosity filling me up, I slowly peeped towards the bed, lowering the book.
He was in his casuals immersed in his own world with his laptop in front of him.
He had returned a while back, when I was talking to Mrs.Malhotra, asking her not to send a car hereafter, like today.
"Stop gawking at me" He asserted with his eyes still immersed in his laptop.
"Huh--No-Why would I?" I lied confidently.
"Yeah whatever helps you sleep at night" He mocked me with a straight face.
As I was wondering 'How-to-kill-time', as it striked me about the box Megha had dropped here two days ago.
Wearily, I hauled myself to my feet and walked towards the box that was lying in one corner.
Or should I say, ghost corner?
I picked up the box and sat on the couch, unpacking the stuff.
I picked up all my books and study materials inside it and arranged it neatly in the book shelf along with the other books.
After unpacking all the stuff, only a huge parcel was left, which Megha had mentioned.
Slowly removing all the brown packages around it, a small chit fell down, as I bent down and picked it up. Removing the gift wrapped package, it was a medium sized Red heart cushion.
From the corner of my eyes, I slowly peaked at Vikram, whose eyes were now fixed on me.
"Why are you staring now? Want this?" I pointed the red cushion towards him, trying to annoy him.
It feels good, when he is annoyed. Especially when I am the reason.
"Are you indirectly saying that to me?" He smirked at me, as he moved his eyes back to his laptop.
Saying what?
I turned the red heart backwards which was pointed towards him and my eyes froze on reading the three words inscribed on it, 'I Love You'
What???
"Huh-you better forget what you saw"I muttered towards him and moved towards the door, as I stumbled on the box and landed on the floor.
Thud.
With my eyes open, I could see all the stars and angels flying out of my head and dancing. Somewhat I managed to push my hand against the floor and raised my head, sitting on the floor.
I can feel my broken hip and my twisted heel, as I saw Vikram standing a feet away from me, trying to control his laughter.
"Stop laughing and help me you Narcissist" I spat my anger which was filled with embarrassment.
"Help yourself, Chatterbox" He smirked as someone helped me from behind to stand up.
May God bless that person.
I turned back and saw Rohit standing there chuckling.
"What were you doing on the floor " Rohit chuckled, moving his gaze from me to the floor, constantly.
"Well, she thought of cleaning the floor, but since there was no cloth nearby, she decided to use her own clothes " Vikram answered with a smug look, with his hands in his pockets, and eyes away from us.
Haha, very funny.
"Forget what he said, I just tripped" I shrugged at Rohit.
Yeah, just tripped and got my ankle twisted for free of cost.
"Are you fine now?" Rohit asked questioningly.
Atleast someone had the courtesy to ask this poor child here.
"She is fine. Tell me what's the matter" Vikram interrupted, as I gave him 'I-will-kill-someday' look and moved out of the room with the red cushion.
As I was walking downstairs, I opened the chit and decided to read.
"Dearest Suhana,
Even in the brightest of lights, never had I realized...."
Blah blah blah
I tore the chit into pieces unable to move past the first line.
Only if I could get to know this person...
What will I do?
No idea.
Let me think about the possibilities first!
"What a lovely cushion, but pity that you have to be here now!" I sadly interacted with the red heart cushion as I dumped it in the huge dustbin in the kitchen.
Well, that's your place now!

Unlimited Evolution [New]
“If anything can go wrong, it’ll go wrong”—Alex found the truth of this quote the hard way when his Thursday evening was ruined by a blinding golden light. Thrown to war against his wishes, in a world that was not his own, he didn’t even survive the first day. But, death was not his sweet retreat. It was just the beginning. Reborn as an Imp in the hellscape of a dungeon, Alex’s life just got more complicated. In a place where you are food to other monsters and a lump of EXP to humans… survival was nothing but luxury. But Alex will survive. He will squeeze every last bit of potential from his [System] and work his way up the ladder of the food chain until he is strong enough to step out of his prison. The first step to such a lofty goal is to conquer the menace of goblins. Unlimited Evolution narrates the struggles of a young man from earth who gets the short end of the stick even in a different world. After a betrayal that resulted in his death, he wakes as a monster in a dungeon where even his fellow monsters saw him as nothing but food. The story will be a little slow-paced in the beginning and the battles will be calculated, brutal, and short. The litRPG element will be there and the system plays an important role in world-building. I'll try to explore each and every character I introduce as much as I can. Hopefully, I do a good job in that aspect. **I hope you enjoy this book of mine.**

Two Sides
Heroes and monsters are the staples of fantasy. Swords and magic, fairies and dragons, adventures and death; all things went hand in hand in some worlds not our own. Elaine Dawn grew up listening to those stories as a child, imagining, aspiring, yet as she grew she slowly lost her dreams and became detached from what the world could be, slowly becoming one with the world that was. Yet one night she found herself in a dream that became reality, and oh there they were; heroes and monsters, swords of steel, magic of tales, fairies and dragons of old, and adventures that held riches and death both. She had no fantastic magic, no supernatural strength. All she had was herself, her coin, and her life. But that was enough. As she stared into the distance, to the mountain-sized horrors of the night, she smiled and tossed her coin once again.

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
