Y/N: "Alright! Let's start another run of Resident Evil 2 Remake!"

He sat down on the chair and got the computer up and running. He hooked up his controller and got it ready.

Y/N checked the clock and saw it was 9:04. He shrugged at the time.

Y/N: "Whatever, it's the weekend. Hell, I might as well play this whole night."

The game started up and showed the title screen. He pressed start game.

Originally he was going to buy it for the Xbox One/PS4 but he wanted to try out the mods people made and it was worth it. Y/N already beaten the game and unlocked all the secret weapons it had. Now he's playing again for fun and plans to not use the secret weapons.

He chose story mode then selected new game.

Y/N: "Hmm, Leon or Claire? I might as well start with Leon."

Last thing for him was choosing difficulty.

Y/N: "I might as well go for standard. Why not."

He selected standard and the game began. He had to wait a little for a loading screen.

Y/N: "Okay, let's do this."

Y/N: "A drunk zombie? Oh wait, you couldn't tell."

Y/N: "Ha, very funny." He said, sarcastically.

Y/N: "Yeah, good idea. Take your eyes off the road while it's dark and raining hard."

Y/N: "That's what happens when you don't watch the road. But don't worry, it was a zombie. So I'll let it slide."

Y/N: "Turn around and don't get bit. That's what you should do."

Y/N sighed as he shook his head.

The next scene was about to show Leon driving to the gas station but suddenly, the computer shut off.

Y/N: "What?! Come on! Don't do this now!"

He looked at the computer and tried to turn it back on but no response.

Y/N: "Damn it, I really need to get a new computer."

Next thing that happen was that the lights and power went out.

Y/N: "What happen to the power?!"

Suddenly the screen on his computer was getting really bright. He covered his eyes from the brightness. Next he passed out but before he did he heard three words.

When Y/N started slowly waking up, he realized he was laying on the wet cold ground while it was raining.

Y/N: "Wha... Where am I?"

He got up and looked around. He found out he was at a gas station. He saw a police car with the car still on.

Y/N: "Wait, this place looks familiar but. It's almost like... No, there's no way. I'm just confusing it with a game."

Next, he found blood on the ground and pistol. He was shocked and was hoping it wasn't what he thought it was. He decided to pick up gun as he didn't recall it being there before.

Y/N: "What's this doing here. This wasn't here in the game so I guess I am imagining things."

He heard glass breaking coming from inside of the gas station. He turned and faced the direction.

Y/N: "Or maybe not."

Y/N decided to head inside the gas station. He doesn't know why he would go in as he's most likely going to get eaten by a zombie. But that was only the game right?

He opened the door and entered inside. He found out no one was around.

Y/N: "Hello? Is someone here? I'd like to buy some donuts."

He remembered he forgot to buy some on his way home.

Y/N found a flashlight on the ground. He picked it up and saw that there was more blood in the store. He also heard something coming from the back of the store.

This was becoming all too familiar to him. The smartest thing for him was to turn around and get away from this place as he knows what may happen next. But he was too curious to know if he was really in Resident Evil or not. He proceed further and looked around.

Y/N: "What the hell am I doing?"

He was getting nervous as he continued looking around the store. He looked behind the last aisle and saw a man clutching on his wound on his neck as he was in pain.

Y/N: "Oh my god."

He went closer and looked at the fallen snacks and bottles on the floor.

Y/N: "Someone really needs to clean up this mess."

He then noticed the bleeding man.

Y/N: "Oh, sorry. Almost forgot about you. Are you okay?"

He pointed to the door that leads to the back. Y/N could turn back and leave but he went in the freezer. If this was like the game, that guy back there is going to turn into a zombie. He slowly opened the door at the end.

He saw a cop trying to cuff a zombie at the end of the room.

Cop: "Stay still!"

Y/N: "Officer, are you alright?"

Cop: "Stay back, sir, I got this."

Y/N: "Don't turn your eyes off him!"

But it was too late as the zombie tackled the cop to the ground and bit on his neck. The officer screamed in pain as he was bleeding.

Y/N: "Oh, Shit!"

Cop: "Help me!"

Y/N: "Right! Right! Right!"

He quickly got the gun out and aimed at the zombie.

Y/N: "Alright, aiming shouldn't be that hard. Just shoot it's head."

He fired the gun but hit the zombie's shoulder instead.

Y/N: "Damn it! Let me try again!"

He fired again and hit the zombie's back next. It continued chewing on the cop who continued screaming.

Y/N: "Come on! Let it hit!"

He fired the gun the third time but this time he accidently shot the cop's hand.

Cop: "Aghhh!"

Y/N: "Sorry! Didn't mean to do that!"

The cop stopped moving then the zombie was looking up and facing Y/N as he's about to go for him next.

Y/N: "Just die already!"

He fired another bullet and finally hit it's head. It fell to the ground dead.

Y/N: "Finally! I think I'm getting a hang on this shooting."

He looked towards the down cop.

Y/N: "Officer, are you okay?"

But then he realized he was already dead.

Y/N: "Fuck. I was too late."

Then again he was already far from saving when he bitten so there was nothing he could do to save him.

Y/N breathed heavily at what he just saw.

Y/N: "So it's true. I really am in the Resident Evil series. How the hell did this happen? It's almost like some kind of fanfiction where the person is experiencing the whole game."

Y/N: "Well If I can just get out of this place and get in the car, I can leave and get away from this place. I mean screw Raccoon City. Why would Leon and Claire go there of all places?"

He went to where the key was. He also saw posters of girls on the wall.

Y/N: "Man, the owner sure is perverted."

He took the keys and started to head out. On his way out, he saw zombies in the freezer coming towards him.

Y/N: "Right, that's my cue to leave."

Y/N quickly headed for the door closest to him and used the key he picked up. He opened the door and saw zombies all over the store. The man from earlier also turned and was getting up. He quickly ran through the middle aisle. He turned left and went for the exit. He ran past a zombie that tripped and knocked down a shelf.

He was about to head towards the exit but a girl outside opened the door and was about to enter.

Y/N recognized it was Claire, one of the main characters of the game.

He pointed his gun at her, aiming for the zombie behind her.

Claire: "Wait! Don't shoot!" She had her hands up.

Y/N: "Get down!"

She ducked then Y/N fired and shot the zombie in head. Claire turned around and saw the dead zombie behind her.

Y/N stepped outside with his pistol ready, he offered her a hand.

Y/N: "Are you alright?"

Claire: "Yeah, thank you."

Y/N: "Come on, we need to get out of here."

She nodded. Her eyes widened as they were surrounded by zombies.

Claire: "Holy shit."

Y/N: "(Where were these zombies hiding?)"

Y/N: "Quick, in that car!"

Claire: "Right."

They headed for the car while dodging zombies on the way. Y/N got in the driver seat as Claire sat in the passenger seat.

Y/N: "Hold on."

He backed the car up and quickly turned around. He switched to forward and headed left as he driving away from the city, knowing the city was full of the zombies and monsters.

Claire: "Wait, where are you going? Raccoon City is the other way."

Y/N: "I know and I'm trying to get us away from the city."

Claire: "But my brother is there. I need to go find him."

Y/N: "How do you know he's even there? Besides I'm sure that city could be crawling with those things."

Claire: "I know but still, what if he's still there? I can't leave him. He's all I have left."

Y/N: "God damn it."

He turned the car around and passed by the infested gas station they were at and headed for the city.

Y/N couldn't believe he was doing this. He and Claire were heading into Raccoon City, the home of Umbrella. He knows Chris isn't there but Claire doesn't know that and he won't tell her he got it all from a video game. That would sound unbelievable to her.

Although he did wonder where Leon was. He should have showed up here but he didn't. Than it occurred to him that before he started he chose Leon's story. So does that mean he's taking Leon's place in the game? Either way, he's going to have to go through the entire game if he wants to survive this hellhole.

Claire: "Thank you, I'm Claire, Claire Redfield."

Y/N: "My name is Y/N, L/N. So where can we find your brother?"

Claire: "He's a cop. A member of S.T.A.R.S actually."

Y/N: "The special police force, right?"

Claire: "Yeah."

Y/N: "Well, let's head to the police station then."

She nodded.

He's still annoyed that Claire wanted him to go into the city instead of away from it to search for Chris who isn't even there.

Y/N: "(I can't believe I'm doing this. I mean what are the chances that we'll find Chris?")

Chris was in a bar, currently enjoying his steak after stopping a virus last year. It was just another day for him, stopping bioterrorists. Though it was he does wonder why someone would make a virus that made people buy a lot of toilet paper. He shrugs it off and continued eating. He wonders if the cycle of bio weapons will one day end.

Someone entered the bar and walked towards Chris's table.

BSAA soldier: "Captain, it's ready."

He looked up and saw the soldier saluting him.

Chris: "Alright, let's not waste any time."

BSAA soldier: "Yes, sir."

He stood up, didn't bother finishing his steak. He followed him as the soldier leads the way.

Chris was on a very important mission. One he has yet to complete. He won't stop until it's fulfilled.

Chris: "(You can't keep running forever. You need to accept your fate and you won't get away this time. I'll drag you back if I have to.)"

Y/N and Claire arrived in Raccoon City, as he expected, the city is no better than the gas station.

Y/N: "This place feels like a ghost town."

Claire: "No kidding, at least we haven't seen any of those things yet. Are we only the ones alive? What if there's no survivors?"

Y/N: "It's a big city, there has to be some survivors out there."

Of he knows Jill and Carlos are also in the city, probably in the hospital right now where Carlos is trying to cure Jill.

Claire: "I hope you're right."

Y/N had to stop the car as a blockade was in the way.

Y/N: "We should be close I think but it looks like we're going to have to walk from here."

Claire looked at the side of the car and zombies. They turned to the car.

Claire: "More like running."

Y/N: "Yeah, running."

A zombie from his left showed up and was at the car door, trying to get in. He got jump scared by it

Y/N: "Scared the shit out of me."

Another zombie was at the other window where Claire was. They were getting surrounded by zombies.

Claire: "Y/N, we gotta back up!"

Y/N: "Yeah, that's not a good idea!"

Claire: "Why not?!"

Y/N: "Because of THAT!" He pointed to the car mirror.

Behind them was a fuel truck about to crash into them.

Claire: "Oh, god."

Y/N: "GET OUT! QUICK!"

They were both trying to get out of the car, but the zombies were blocking the way.

Claire: "I can't!"

Y/N: "Shit!"

The truck rammed into the car. It pushed it forward and crashed into another car.

Y/N got out of the car and fell to the ground. He had to get up and get away from the car as it was about to explode.

*Boom*

Y/N looked at the fire on the car, it was leading to the fuel truck

Y/N: "Oh, no."

He quickly ran from the truck as it was going to blow up in a few seconds.

Y/N hid behind a car as the truck exploded. After that he walked to it to find Claire.

Y/N: "Claire! You alright!"

Claire: "Yeah, I'm here! What about you?!"

He looked around and zombies were starting to gather around him.

Y/N: "I'm fine! Head to the station, I'll meet you there!"

Claire: "Okay, I'll see you at the station!"

Y/N faced the zombies as they slowly walked towards him as he tries to make his way to the police station. He had one thing in his mind before facing the hell in this city.
