"y/n! i have a question~" zenitsu spoke as we sat down at a table in the cafeteria with nezuko, tanjiro, and everyone else. "what is it now, zenitsu?"

"what's a synonym for love~? every girl i ask out says i should expand my vocabulary, and the only word that i can't find synonyms for is love!!" zenitsu stared at all of us with a helpless expression, in need of answers.

"i don't remember..." muichiro replied as he looked out one of the windows. "it's alright tokito-kun! i think we can just search up some synonyms!" tanjiro exclaimed as he took out his phone

"let's see..there's fondness, intimacy, tenderness.." he continued listing all the synonyms of the word "love."

"oh yea. i remember now. doesn't inamorato mean like female lover?" muichiro looked away from the window, staring at tanjiro, one of the only people that he would listen to besides me.

"oh, inamorata is a person's female lover. a person's male lover is inamorato. they are really nice words, and really unique nicknames!" i explained to muichiro.

"well then why don't you nickname muichiro your inamorato~" nezuko whispered into my ear. i jumped, causing tanjiro to look at me.

"is something wrong y/n?"

"no! i'm okay tanjiro!"

"okay then zenitsu, you have lots of new words to use. now leave the poor girls alone if they don't want to talk to you." tanjiro looked at zenitsu with a smile, but his aura felt a little disappointed and angry at zenitsu.

"inamorata."

i heard muichiro speak. i looked over to him, causing our eyes to lock. "yea...that's a female lover..it is a cool-"

"can i call you that?" muichiro interrupted me. "wha-why? it's not like we're lovers or anyth-"

"you said it's a nice nickname. you gave me a nickname y/n, so it's my turn..my inamorata."

i heard nezuko giggle a little.

"well inamorata is kind of a long word for a nickname..s-so i think you should use a shorter name.." i replied to him.

"alright, n/n."

my face turned red as he called me by a nickname. "m-mhm..that's a good nickname.." i smiled at him.

"flamboyant!"

i jumped a little before looking to my side to see mr. uzui standing there with mr. rengoku.

"this is art! the art of love!" mr. uzui continued.

"yes! i say you ask her to the winter ball, young tokito!" mr. rengoku continued.

"i-uh guys can you help us-"

i looked over to nezuko only for her to push me towards muichiro.

"no, muichiro. as your chemistry teacher i believe that women are toxic chemicals that you should ignore." mr. iguro appeared from over muichiro's shoulder.

"it's not that big of a deal. it shouldn't matter. i was gonna take her as a friend anyways." muichiro replied to mr. iguro who then stepped back away from muichiro's shoulder. "*hisssssss* you've been warned..you should listen to your teacher, i know best."

muichiro looked back at me. "so i'll bring you to the winter ball. remind me about it later, though." he spoke before turning around and walking to his next class.

"NO FAIR MUICHIRO GOT A DATE BEFORE ME!"

"shut up, moritsu! you're too loud! and plus, you can't beat me either, because i'm great INOSUKE HASHIBIRA!"
