I couldn't help but laugh. Vanessa was truly amazing. She would make a great Luna. Whenever I've seemed to have figured her out, she comes back and completely surprises me. I realized I was staring and snapped out of it.

"You handled that well."

Nessie shrugged. "They deserve each other. When I realized that I wasn't as bothered."

"Are you done with your ice cream?" I asked

She smiled up at me, "Yea."

"Let's go," I said, getting up.

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see."

I smiled down at her and grabbed her hand. There was this beautiful meadow behind the pack's house that I just knew she'd love. It was something I wanted to share with her. I wanted it to be our special place, our escape.
