Isabel speaking, I know it's been so long most of you have forgotten who I am. Loved how the author highkey replaced me with that stupid witch, but we digress.

While I was at the academy, I had to learn just about every detail about my species and I'm happy to share.

So welcome to Werewolf 101.

1) The Species

Werewolves were one of the first supernatural beings that walked the face of the earth. They are a natural breed which are formed from two gene pools. There is the human component and the wolf component which work together to form the werewolf.

There are female and male werewolves. A werewolf can not be created, only made through natural pregnancies.

Thanks to our wolf component, when in human form, werewolves are stronger than the average human and have heightened senses such as taste, touch, smell and hearing. They also have a quick recovery time due to inhances cells.

But our best abilities in my opinion at least is to change into our wolf's natural form and control it. It gives us the ability to connect with the natural world in an indescribable way.

When in a pack, the ability to link with other wolves is available. This is a mental channel which allows for easy communication once in a certain range. The range is as big as the pack, extending further which each added member.

When mated, one can link as well as hear their mates thoughts and feel their emotions from any place.

The panks ranking members such as Elders and Alphas have special abilities assigned to their bloodline.

In a pack, everyone plays a part, however there are some major key players which keep the operation running.

Alphas and Lunas

At the top are the alpha and luna or alpha and alpha as recent times permits. These are the ruling parties which delegate over all pack affairs, economic, social and personal.

They have strength and power which exceeds the average wolf. Few alphas possess the rare trait to control It is a quality which allows an alpha to make a pack do whatever they say, whether or not they wish to. It is very dangerous and alpha who possess this quality are usually carefully watched by outside parties.

Lunas have a special healing ability which inhances the already speedy recovery werewolves possess. They are believed to have a special link with the Goddess herself which allows them to lead the pack wisely.

Betas

Betas are the second in command. They are the right hand man or woman to the alpha's wishes and commands. They carry out any orders and are to take over if the alpha becomes unavailable.

They possess a wolf slightly smaller to one of the alpha but still larger than an average wolf.

Selsas NOT SALSA

We are the head or all military personnel in the pack. Think of it like a commanding officer except we don't use guns or swords, only our natural strength.

The Selsas are highly respected in each pack and deal with pack crimes or murders. The decision to exile a pack member lise in their hands however it can be challenged and dismissed by the Alpha and Luna.

Elders

Kind of useless, kind of stupid. All they do is tell people how the good old days used to be. Elders are made up of former ranking members of the packs such as former alphas, betas, selsas. You get the jist.

Omegas

Sadly no matter how strong a pack is, there is always an omega. The omega is weaker than the average wolf by natural genes, however, as shown by omega like Mickey their genes do not cage them in.

They are breakable limitations.

Omegas are usually delicate and shy and need a lot of help to survive, naturally, they thrive in packs. Some packs treasure them, some see them as equals and others look down on them.

They are almost always twinks, that's just a personal observation though so don't quote me on that.

Mates are probably the main part of being a werewolf.

Every time the Moon Goddes forges a new soul, she splits in it two and places it in different bodies placing them on earth to meet again if they're lucky.

Not every pair of mates find one another, due to death or complications, but the ones who do experience the greatest love imaginable.

The bond, once joined, allows each mate to feel the other's emotions and pain. Just the feel of their skin is exhilarating.

Mates find one another at eighteen but for Crescent Mates, but they are a rarity.

They're basicly mates who are bonded before meeting, usually can feel the connection from the moment the see one another despite the age. At least that's what we suspect, not much is known about them.

The mates' wolves are also mated and usually know at least of each other's name through previous relations in the Light Moon World.

To put it simply;

Witches + Werewolves = Hatred

Werewolves + Vampires = Neutral

Witches + Vampires = Neutral

Pixies + Witches = Best fucking friends

Pixies + Werewolves = Neutral

Elves literally hate every one but themselves.
