"Lily, I'm scared." Jennifer whimpered as Echo neared them growling with her teeth exposed.

"Just stay still and do as I say."

Lily glanced out of the corner of her eye and saw Echo lowering her head in a striking state. "Oh shit.."

"What?!" Jennifer asked panicky with her eyes closed.

"Nothing, just wait..."

Lily lifted her hand shakily and stretched it out towards Echo. She snapped at it nearly taking Lily's hand.

Lily gasped clutching onto Jennifer who cried out.

Lily took a deep breath and tried her best to calm herself down. She exhaled and placed her hand out, this time it was steady. Echo screeched but Lily remained still. Echo watched her hand chirping and letting out a call. She was so close to touching Echo's head when there was a call, Echo looked over in the direction before looking back to Lily and Jennifer and then taking off.

"Is she gone?" Jennifer asked.

"Yes. She's gone." Lily said.

"Lily!" she looked over to see Owen, Claire and the boys come out of the Innovation center.

"Owen!" she smiled in relief to see that he was okay.

"What are you doing out here?!" he asked wrapping her into a hug resting his chin on her head.

"I came to-"

Blue appeared before them with Delta and Echo bringing up the rear. Owen removed Lily from the hug and placed her behind him. Jennifer and Claire grabbed onto her as she staggered.

"Owen please be careful."

"Just wait.." he said sternly. "I got this." Lily held her breath as Owen neared the girls. Blue's tail was thrashing around violently as she glared at him.

Owen spoke in a calm tone as he continued to approach them. No matter how many times they snapped or screeched at him, he kept closing in on them.

He approached Blue, her eyes locked on him. The other three behind her were waiting on her call. Lily looked from Blue and Owen over to Echo. Echo glanced over with a chirp.

Blue whipped her head around and snapped in Echo's face before looking back to Owen. Owen reached his hands out slowly and made contact with her halter.

He un-clipped it and pulled it off before letting it fall to the ground.

"There." he said gently.

Blue stepped away from the halter still watching the group.

The ground began to tremble and there was the ear shattering roar of the Indominus Rex as it came crashing through Main street.

"Oh my god..." Jennifer said. "We're so fucked."

Lily looked around, with the raptors and now the Indominus Rex closing in on them, Jennifer's crude statement didn't seem so far from the truth.

Owen backed up grabbing Lily's arm pulling her into him. If this was it, at least they were all going down together.

Blue took a step towards them before suddenly, turning on her feet and facing the Indominus Rex. Delta and Echo surrounded the rest of them. Echo and Lily locked eyes for a moment.

Blue walked forward and let out a few challenging growls and screeches towards the much larger hybrid.

"What's going on?" Jennifer whispered to Lily.

"Owen's still the alpha." Lily smiled.

"And don't forget it." Owen said.

The Indominus Rex seemed scattered for a moment as the girls turned on her but it seemed only to cause more rage as she sprang forward to fight.

"Get out of here!" Owen told them as he began firing to defend his squad.

Lily scampered with Jennifer but they couldn't get far as Lily's ankle just gave out.

"Lily come on!"

"I'm trying!" Lily said. Blue was tossed aside like it was nothing. Echo stood next to Lily's side as she struggled getting up. The Indominus Rex grabbed Delta and threw her snapping her back upon impact.

Lily flinched as Echo cried out for her fallen companion. "Echo don't-" But Echo took off for her attack but was easily overpowered and thrown into a grill where she was completely incinerated.

Lily clapped her hands over her mouth. "No! Echo!"

Claire and Jennifer grabbed onto Lily dragging her into a slightly demolished store taking shelter.

Owen ran in falling to the ground as the Indominus Rex's tail crashed into the store covering them in debris and rubble.

"We're going to die!" Jennifer wailed.

Lily turned to her. "No, we're not. We just need to come up with a plan."

"We need more teeth!" Gray said.

Lily and the others turned to him. Claire arose to her feet.

"I'm on it." she said before running off.

"How the hell does she manage all that in heels?" Lily asked.
