《My Infinity || T. Muichiro x reader》Twenty

Covering your face with your left arm's kimono sleeve, you felt the heat rise to your poor cheeks. Muichiro had to drag you all the way to the Ubuyashiki estate holding your hand, hence why your heart was beating so fast against your chest. Your soul was about to leave your body for good, when he halted and freed his hold on you.
"We're here"
You looked up, admiring the immense mansion that was familiar to you. It had been four months since that moment in which you woke up with a life purpose other than being a caterpillar inside a hospital's four walls. When you snapped out of your daze, your master was nowhere to be seen.
"Tokito-sama?" you looked around, anxiously fidgeting right in the entrance of the mansion.
The door was open, he probably just kept walking towards the meeting's place. For you, it was either enter to the house like he had advised you to or stay outside.
Definitely outside. I don't want to encounter anyone inside there, I'd be awkward.
A light tap on your shoulder made you jump in your spot, taking several steps backwards defensively.
"Eek!"
A person dressed from head to toe, a kakushi, was standing right before you.
"[Y/N]-sama? Tokito-sama informed us of your visit. Come on inside, do you want tea?"
Why would you ask that? I can't reject your kindness, it's going to make you feel bad and I feel bad when people feel bad.
You limited yourself to nodding, repeatedly, scaring the poor female kakushi. Nonetheless, she guided you to the common room and got you a cup of warm tea. You wouldn't have been panicking so much if not for the fact that you were inside someone else's house, which felt almost like trespassing another's scared territory inside your anxious brain.

And, well, there was also the fact that a creepy and beautiful doll was sitting in the cushion in front of yours. Her large lilac-pink eyes were set on yours, displaying a gentle smile while drinking her tea peacefully.
She was starting to give you goosebumps, as she silently stared at you with her large eyes. Not once did she say a word, nor moved any other muscle than necessary. Although she was insanely beautiful, both your bashful personality and her Mona Lisa-like eyes wouldn't have let you praise anything about her, or move an inch closer.
Nervously glancing at the clock like you had been doing for the past few hours, you noticed that three hours had passed in total.
The endearing girl stood up without prior notice, picking your interest in doing so. Her sudden action and the broken eye contact destroyed the awkwardness you were feeling —although the girl felt like you two were having a comfortable tsuguko time together—. She calmly walked through the estate, you following close due to curiosity and not knowing where Muichiro was.
The both of you arrived to the engawa. You hid behind a wooden column and she hopped off it to be next to Shinobu. As far as you noticed, the pillar meeting must've been over. Oyakata-sama was nowhere near and various people stood there, probably arguing about the topic they were discussing during the meeting.
You took a peek, searching for Muichiro, someone you were comfortable with. In that awful situation, you were like a fish out of water. Surrounded by strangers in an open field shook your heart, made you sweat and clench your chest. When you finally saw the black-to-mint haired boy, your body instantly relaxed.
"Are you looking for someone, young lady?"
Hot breath behind your ear made you turn as pale as a corpse. "AAAAH!"

You turned around hurriedly, feeling your back hit against the column. Your legs were trembling as if they were jelly, traumatized by the shock that person had given you.
The person who had spooked you burst out laughing, which gave an aura of inexplicable warmth. Afterwards, he brightly smiled at you, straightening himself —as he had leaned in due to the height difference—. He had a strong build, bushy eyebrows and gave the impression of being the sun on Earth, which encouraged you to avoid staring at him out of fear of getting blinded.
Also, he's hot.
All the ruckus caught the other pillars' attention, most of them surprised of seeing a young lady there, a girl that looked like a scared kitten surrounded by wolves; with your teary eyes and self-concious posture clenching the sleeves of your kimono and breathing heavily.
Too. many. eyes. staring.
A tall, sparkling man, narrowed his eyes and pointed at you, who were no longer being able to hide behind the column.
"Oi, isn't she the girl we saved from that hospital months ago?" he questioned, coming closer —perharps too close— to look at your features.
He grabbed your face and made all kinds of silly expressions with it, amused.
"I'm surprised you haven't forgotten about it" Shinobu's honeyed voice sang, in a somewhat snarky tone.
The man turned at her with a gasp, seriously offended by the insect pillar's comment.
"I never forget flamboyant people when I see th—"
"[Y/N]-CHAN!!! YOU'RE HERE!!"
You felt yourself being pulled away from the man's arms directly hitting Mitsuri's big chest. She rubbed her cheek against your head lovingly, hugging you with a strength comparable to fifty bears. Your lungs begged for precious air, but all your protests were muffled by the pretty girl's body.
"Kanroji, you're asphyxiating her" a monotone voice spoke, making Mitsuri's bear hug relax.
"Poor child, I can hear her bones getting crushed. Namu Amida Butsu" said a gigantic man, crying and praying at the same time.
"O-Oh! I'm sorry!"
"It's..." you attempted to regain the oxygen that had left your lungs "It's... It's fine"
Although you were past the danger of getting hugged to death, a deadly presence shook your bones. It came from a tree, in which a person was resting on a branch, glaring and possibly cursing you for being the one getting hugged by the love pillar.
A man full of scars and with terrifying open eyes crossed his arms, examining you. "Who the hell is that?"
Another hand pulled you, this time it was the characteristic chilling-warmth unique to your master. Your back pressed against his chest, he placed his chin on top of your head, surrounding his arms around your body, securing it.
Blankly staring at the pillars, he spoke in a dead voice.
"She's my tsuguko, [Y/N]"

Evolution of the Lazy Gamer by Bruticus
It had been five years since the game Royalroad first appeared. A new expansion had been released and one person was assigned by his company to review it. That was the beginning of the story of a lazy, unheroic character who would meet others just as lacking in the heroism department as he was. Still life (or virtual life) throws you curve balls and you never know what will happen.

Reincarnated As A Benevolent Tyrant
NOTICE: This story is under rewrite. New novel has been published. Search **RE: Tyranny** in Royalroad for the new novel.Link- Re: Tyranny Thank You! ------------------------ "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." What a brilliant line, isn't it? James was a boy who had nothing to worry about. A happy family, a nice childhood. What's more to ask? But one day, everything changed. He lost everything in the blink of an eye. The only thing left for him were the memories and dreams of the past. Trying to cope up with the loss, he cut all ties with the outside world and became a shut-in, having no one left to call his own or to rely upon. There was nothing left for him in this world, but still he lived and soon found a purpose in his life, which lead him to create something that could change the world. And on the very day when his dream project was about to come to the light, he lost his life, trying to save a little girl from an unfortunate accident. "Will I ever be remembered...? I wish... someone would." These were the last word James mumbled before his conscious faded into darkness. But his life didn't end there, as he is transmigrated into the body of an arrogant, worthless Duke's son in some unknown land with no memories about who is or any idea about where he is. In an era of political turmoil and civil strife, the Duke's son is forced to prove his worth for inheriting the title. Will he be able to accept the new reality and prove himself by leading this country into a prosperous future? Or will he cease to the pressure of his past and lose everything once more? Disclaimer: This is not a power-fantasy or a 'feel-good' story. If you feel a protagonist should never lack agency (especially in early story) or make compromises because of difficult circumstances, then this fiction is probably not for you. It is a story that delves deep into real world sociological/psychological subjects and explores many topics of gray morality. I wrote it because I like stories that make me think more about the world around us, not to detach myself from reality. Some aspects you can expect based on the tags include:- [Kingdom Building]: political drama, geopolitical/geoeconomic strategy- [Army Building]: massive battles featuring in-depth planning, combined arms, and operational logistics- [Identity Crisis]: someone translated into a whole different world having to rebuild their identity and life aims The story starts off slowly, more like a slice of life than action-adventure, but I guarantee you it will get there. For those who want to skip the slow part, start from Chapter - 35 (Beginning of The End) (The whole Disclaimer section is copied from Aorii as I am too busy writing the complete story.) And yes, just for General Knowledge, James will become OP throughout the story. He is not some legendary guy who will pull out Excalibur & conquer the entire world. Update Schedule - One chapter a day. This novel is also available on Scribble Hub. And again, I humbly thank you for reading it. I hope you stick throughout the journey.
