I walked on a familiar polished stoned path to my father's estate. Once I arrived, I was greeted by Kiriya and Kanata as they led me where my father was sitting. I bowed while entering and saw mother, Amane.

"Y/N dear, come sit next to me." Otōsan told me.

I walked toward him and sat down looking out to the beautiful garden in front of us with a clear blue sky.

"Y/N, I know you have rejected the position of being the Reaper Hashira for 2 years now, why won't you accept the role?" my Otōsan asked.

I paused.

"I didn't feel ready to take on the role, especially since I feel like my breathing technique isn't perfect yet." I said looking out into the horizon.

Otōsan chuckled and said...

"Y/N, you may not notice it yet, but you're the strongest Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer corps."

My eyes widened as I stared at him for a while.

"So Y/N, would you like to finally take on the role as the Reaper Hashira?" my father asked holding out his hand.

I paused to think.

"If you really think that I'm ready Otōsan, I'll take on the role for you."
