[Ledge Scene]
{Godzilla slowly crosses the desolated land. He reaches the lip of a cliff and looks out over his former home. Mostly lacking in life, it is painted in grays. Seeing the desolation, a look of determination, even fury, appears on Godzilla's face.}
Serena: Godzilla, wait up! {She trots up next to him on the ledge} ...It's awful, isn't it?
Godzilla: I didn't want to believe you.
Serena: What made you come back?
Godzilla: I finally got some sense knocked into me. And I've got the bump to prove it. Besides, this is my kingdom. If I don't fight for it, who will?
Serena: I will.
Godzilla: It's gonna be dangerous.
Serena: {Quoting young Godzilla} Danger? Ha! I laugh in the face of danger. Ha ha ha ha.
Rodan: I see nothing funny about this.
Godzilla: Rodan? Anguirus? What are you doing here?
Anguirus: {Bowing on one knee} At your service, my liege.
Rodan: Uh. We're going to fight your uncle... for this?
Godzilla: Yes, Rodan; this is my home.
Rodan: Ffh. Talk about your fixer-upper. Well, Godzilla, if it's important to you, {bows} we're with you to the end.
{Godzilla smiles appreciatively. Next scene with the four of them on the ledge viewing the work ahead of them.}
[Hula scene]
{Camera switches to Godzilla. Serena, Rodan, and Anguirus sneaking up to the edge of Pride Mountain. From behind a log, they observe close up the hordes of kajiuraptors.}
Rodan: Kajiuraptors. I hate kajiuraptors. {To Godzilla, whispering} So what's your plan for gettin' past those guys?
Godzilla: Live bait.
Rodan: Good idea. {Realizing} Heeey.
Godzilla: Come on, Rodan-- you guys have to create a diversion.
Rodan: {Incredulous} What do you want me to do? Dress in drag and do the hula?
{Camera switch to Rodan in a hula outfit. The music sung is The Hawaiian War Chant much like the Spike Jones arrangement. Anguirus is set up like a roast pig, even with an apple in his mouth. Jungle drum riff.}

Rodan: Luau!
If you're hungry for a hunk of fat and juicy meat
Eat my buddy Anguirus here because he is a treat
Come on down and dine
On this tasty swine
All you have to do is get in line
{Parenthetical parts are Anguirus singing; the apple is at his feet.}
Aaaare you achin'
(Yup, yup, yup)
Foooor some bacon?
(Yup, yup, yup)
Heeee's a big pig
(Yup, yup)
You could be a big pig too.
Oy!
{They run off screaming to lead some of the kajiuraptors away. Godzilla and Serena make it by.}
Godzilla: Serena, you find my mother and rally the Kajiu hunters, human hunters, and Pokémon. {determinedly} I'll look for SpaceGodzilla.
Serena: Be careful. {is a little worried}
Godzilla: I will {Hugs her then makes his way up to Pride Mountain}

A new life for Gwen. One that begins up a tree, hiding from a monster. The world of After was supposed to be a sanctuary from a reality in which the sun is destroying the planet. National leaders mashed together a dozen video games and added the ensuing virtual reality to a cryogenics system big enough for a billion people. And then shot the lucky minority into the void on a space ship. This was the best plan they had. Only, it turns out there are monsters in After that want to destroy humanity too. And as a Half-Elf Hunter, Gwen has found herself in the middle of a hoard of them.

Solstice Anthology
A collection of short stories I've written over the past few years, the centerpiece being "Solstice" itself: On the Winter Solstice, the wind whispered. It roared and blew across the world, and reached even the Heavens above. With it, the great cold of winter flooded across that higher plane, and the gods staggered. They felt the golden dust of their divinity drift away from them, and the message of that wind became clear… This Winter will never end so that the Earth will.

Tales from the Triverse
Tales from the Triverse is part detective drama, part fantasy adventure and part space opera. I’m influenced by the likes of Iain M Banks, Isaac Asimov and ND Stevenson and work including The Wire and Gotham Central. It begins with an incident two hundred years ago which crashed three parallel universes together. Portals open up in 18th century London, sending England down a very different path. We pick up events in the 1970s, with the Metropolitan Police having established a new department to handle portal-related criminal activity. The story is about intolerance, immigration, multiculturalism and power. It’s about what happens when incompatible viewpoints are weaponised to seed discontent, and the efforts of some to create a fairer world. In the tradition of the best science fiction, fantasy and crime fiction, I’m using the setting to examine themes that matter to me in the real world. Who is it for?If you like science fiction or fantasy, or a mix of both, this is for you. It’s my first foray into crime fiction, but I hope if you’re a fan that you’ll enjoy yourself - especially if you’re looking for something a bit different. I write fiction that is optimistic, progressive and empathetic. Bad things can happen to good people in the stories, but the overall arc tends to be hopeful. Note that if it were a movie, Tales from the Triverse would be a 15 certificate in the UK.
