Jeongguk and Taehyung spent the whole day together after that talk.

They went to two restaurants. One for lunch and dinner. They went to the movie theatre as well. It ended with Taehyung falling asleep in the middle of it and Jeongguk taking pictures of his best friend's sleeping state.

They got back home around midnight.

Taehyung went to take a shower while Jeongguk just went to go change. He decided to just stay in a pair of sweatpants and slides without a shirt because why not?

Jeongguk waited for Taehyung to come out of the bathroom for about an hour. He was texting some girl in his phone in the meantime.

The bathroom door soon opened, revealing Taehyung in a white crop top, black sleep shorts and socks. Yet, Jeongguk hadn't noticed since he was so preoccupied with texting this girl.

"Who are you texting?", Taehyung asked, snatching Jeongguk's phone. He then gave it back when he saw it was a girl.

"Sorry! Here you go. Didn't mean to intrude your privacy with your girlfriend", Taehyung said embarrassed and walked away.

Jeongguk was taken aback. He didn't have a girlfriend. The girl he was texting had asked him if he liked anyone and he replied with a 'yes'. You see, the girl is called Seri and she was a good friend of his. She asked Jeongguk what he liked about his crush and he spammed her, describing Taehyung in every single aspect. Although, he's not fully sure if he truly likes Taehyung as he says he does. Some part of him still says it's his hormones acting up, but he's willing to see where this new week will take him with Taehyung. I guess you could call it an experiment to test his so called love for his best friend.

He quickly ended his conversation with Seri and ran after Taehyung.

When he caught up, he gave Taehyung a tight hug and said, "No, she's not my girlfriend."

"I asked her what we had for homework", Jeongguk lied.

"Ohh. I jumped to conclusions. It's just so rare now to see you being active with girls in general so I thought you found yourself a girlfriend", Taehyung said honestly, completely forgetting that Jeongguk had feelings for him. Jeongguk however, didn't know that.

"Are you forgetting something? Didn't you say that you were gonna make me fall in love with you? I won't get a girlfriend anytime soon. I'm willing to see where this goes", Jeongguk said leading Taehyung to their bed.

Taehyung remembered his words from earlier today and blushed.

Jeongguk closed their bedroom door and laid Taehyung on the bed. He got on top of his best friend and without warning, kissed Taehyung's lips. The kiss was no where near lustful but it sure was heated.

Taehyung was surprised at first but kissed back literally two seconds later. Both were enjoying this to full extent.

About thirty seconds later, Jeongguk pulled away. The way Taehyung looked with those swollen lips and flustered face made him want to do things but couldn't.

"Baby, you look.. hot. Fucking sexy", Jeongguk stated, captivated by how his best friend looked.

Taehyung didn't bother to say anything and just brought Jeongguk in for another heated kiss....... and boy, were they having the time of their lives.

They soon broke it and Taehyung said, "Don't say things like that. Makes me feel as though we're about to have sex."

Jeongguk couldn't help but laugh. He brought Taehyung in for a hug and covered both him and his best friend with a blanket.

"Sleep. We'll go out with the gang tomorrow", Jeongguk said before kissing Taehyung's forehead.

Soon.. both, happy as ever, fell asleep in each other's embrace.

-Sunday Morning-

Jeongguk woke up to to an empty bed. He looked over to the floor in case Taehyung fell. Turns out, he wasn't on the floor.

'Taehyung? I swear to god. He better not have gone off with Bogum', he thought, before getting up and searching for Taehyung.

"Taehyung?! Taehyung!", Jeongguk yelled, trying to get a response but received none.

He made his way to the kitchen and saw his best friend cooking breakfast with AirPods on. Jeongguk then sighed out of relief.

As Taehyung was cooking, he felt arms wrap around his torso, startling him a little.

"You're awake, I see", Taehyung said with a smile.

"I thought you left with Bogum again", Jeongguk said, earning a giggle from Taehyung.

"No, not this time. By the way, I called Jimin and the others.We all agreed to meet up at the mall that's 11 minutes away from here", Taehyung said before finishing up and placing the food on the plate.

They ate their breakfast, brushed their teeth and got ready.

Once they were done, they got in Jeongguk's car and headed out.

"They're so slow. Where are they?!", Jimin said, tapping his right foot on the cement floor, right outside the entrance.

"Relax, babe. They'll be here any minute now", Yoongi said, bringing his boyfriend in for a hug so Jimin could relax.

"I want to see Taehyung already~", Hoseok whined.

"Anyone who hears you, will think you have a crush on Taehyung", Namjoon said.

"What if I do?", Hoseok questioned.

Jin gasped while the others stared at him as if they didn't know what to say or do. Of course, Hoseok was only playing. He's doing a plan of his own to get his best friend and Jeongguk together.

"HOBI!!", Taehyung yelled from afar, letting go of Jeongguk and running towards Hoseok.

Hoseok opened his arms wide and Taehyung jumped on him. His legs wrapped around Hoseok's waist.

"Tae, I missed you so much!", Hoseok said while kissing Taehyung on his nose.

"The fuck do you think you're doing?", Jeongguk asked as he got closer to the two.

"What's it to you? I only kissed him on his nose. I'm HIS best friend, after all", Hoseok said, tightening his hold on Taehyung.

"No, you're not. I'm his best friend", Jeongguk stated, rolling his eyes.

"Guys.. you both can be my best friends", Taehyung said, letting go of Hoseok.

"No. You must pick one. Me or Jeongguk?", Hoseok said with a serious tone. Of course, this was his plan all along.

While this nonsense is occurring, we have the two couples in the background, confused as to what's happening.

"Uh... I'll think about it", Taehyung said nervously.

"Stop being immature. He's right. He can have more than one best friend. However Tae baby, if you were to pick between me and Hoseok, it'd clearly be me so what do you mean by 'I'll think about it'?", Jeongguk said annoyed.

"Tae!! Forget those two. Come hang out with me", Jimin said with a smile. His eyes turning into crescents.

"Wait. What about m-", Yoongi tried to say but was interrupted.

"Yeah!!", Taehyung exclaimed as he walked up to Jimin, giving him a hug. The two, soon entered the mall, leaving the rest behind.

"I love you Taehyung but you simply don't steal my boyfriend", Yoongi muttered while crossing his arms.

Jeongguk and Hoseok were arguing about Taehyung still like the little kids they are.

Namjoon and Jin looked at each other, then at Yoongi, then at Hoseok n' Jeongguk, and finally back at each other.

"What do we do?", Namjoon asked.

"I mean,.. we could always ditch them and go on our own little date here at the mall", Jin said grinning.

"That's a bit mean. We'll end up leaving the rest", Namjoon said nervously, scratching the back of his head.

"Tae and Chim did it so why can't we?", Jin asked, crossing his arms.

Namjoon only stayed quiet.

"Fine. Have it your way", Jin said before going over to Yoongi to sulk as well.

Namjoon didn't know what to do so he decided to stop Jeongguk and Hoseok from arguing over Taehyung any further.

"Look guys. I don't think you should fight over Tae. You both hold a very special role in his life. It's.. dumb", Namjoon said, only to be yelled by both of them.

"SHUT UP NAMJOON!"

"BE QUIET!"
