Taehyung's eyes started getting teary.

"No. Don't cry. You're only gonna make me feel more guilty", Jeongguk said.

"But I.. m-miss what we h-had", Taehyung said, now crying.

"... me too, but I want to be a better person for you", Jeongguk said, hugging Taehyung.

There was a tremendous amount of silence which lasted about 3 minutes.

"Just one, please", Taehyung spoke when he calmed down.

"Huh? One what?", Jeongguk asked confused.

"One... kiss. Just one more kiss on the lips. That's... my condition", Taehyung said, getting very nervous.

Jeongguk smiled.

He leaned in and kissed Taehyung not so passionately. After all, they're not what they used to be so he was being careful.

Taehyung deepened the kiss which made it harder for Jeongguk to back out.

After realizing that it might turn into something more than just a kiss, Jeongguk broke it.

"Sorry... it's been so long since our last kiss and it felt really good to have your lips on mine again", Taehyung said, turning red.

"No kidding", Jeongguk laughed.

"Jeongguk. I will try and find a way to restore what we once had, okay? Trust me on this", Taehyung said with a heartwarming smile.

Jeongguk ruffled Taehyung's hair and said, "Alright.. but in the meantime, we're just friends. Okay, Taehyung? I don't want you pulling little stunts on me, is that clear?"

"Stunts?", Taehyung questioned.

"Uh... doing things that'll make me go crazy for you. Like, purposely hanging out with other guys to make me jealous and other stuff", Jeongguk said.

".......... I can't promise anything"

"Shhh. Go take a shower", Taehyung said, pushing him out of the room and then closing the door on his face.

"Is this really necessary?", Jeongguk asked, pointing at the clothes Taehyung made him wear.

Taehyung didn't want Jeongguk to show his attractiveness in his new school so he made sure Jeongguk was covered well with a big hoodie and loose pants.

"Yes. Ah! I forgot the mask!", Taehyung said, leaving the room to go get it.

Jeongguk started to chuckle.

Soon, Taehyung was already back, putting the mask on Jeongguk.

"Something is missing", Taehyung said, crossing his arms and analyzing the look of his friend.

"There's more?", Jeongguk whined.

"I got it!", Taehyung said, putting the hood of the hoodie on Jeongguk's head.

"There. You're perfect. Now people won't see your face. Except the eyes. We can go now", Taehyung said, very proud of himself. He then started to make his way out of the room but got pulled back.

"You think you're going to school like that?", Jeongguk asked.

Taehyung was wearing tight jeans with a cute sweater and high tops.

"Hey! I've worn worse. They're not bad but you get me", Taehyung said pouting.

"That's because I was there! I protected you from horny motherfuckers but I can't do that anymore. At least, change into sweatpants or looser jeans", Jeongguk said.

"Fine. You win", Taehyung said, going to find something better to wear.

"I guess I'll be in charge of your clothing for this week", Jeongguk said.

"Same here", Taehyung laughed.

"Ah, isn't your game being held today in the evening?", Taehyung asked.

"No. I don't know how but yesterday, I got a call from Yoongi. He said that you told him I'd be back by next week. Since I'm the best player on the team, he managed to talk it out with the coach. The coach contacted the school we were supposed to be competing with and both coaches agreed to postpone it til next Wednesday. Come to think of it, the team we're competing with, is actually from the new school I'm attending", Jeongguk said.

"Oh, I see"

"Don't worry. You'll get a chance to cheer me on, my cheerleader", Jeongguk said smirking, making Taehyung blush.

"Who said anything about being a cheerleader?", Taehyung asked, looking away.

"You did. You said you lied about not being a cheerleader and not going to my game", Jeongguk said smiling.

"I'm not going anymore", Taehyung lied.

"Why not?!", Jeongguk asked, not liking what Taehyung said.

"Cause I don't want to", Taehyung said, still lying.

Jeongguk wasn't happy anymore. The look of disappointment and sadness was evident on his face.

"Noooo. I was joking", Taehyung said, giving Jeongguk a big hug.

"That's not a nice joke but I forgive you", Jeongguk said, hugging back.

The two enjoyed the time they had before splitting ways and going to school. Before that though, Taehyung quickly pecked Jeongguk on the cheek and left running which made Jeongguk laugh.

The moment I reached my new school, I received many stares from people. Must be the clothes.

I went to my class and slid opened the door only to be splashed with a bucket of water.

What the fuck?! I'm completely soaked!!

"Sorry man! I thought you were Geun", the guy said.

What's wrong with this fucking school?!

"Okay, let's say I was 'Geun' and you managed to splash the water on me. How would you clean it on time before the teacher gets here? Can this school get any weirder?", I said.

How annoying.

"I said sorry! Are you new by any chance? I've never seen you around here. Also, what's with the mask? Not that it matters. It's soaked!", the guy said, laughing at the last part.

"Follow me to the gym locker rooms so you can change. The coach should have some extra clothes. By the way, you can call me Chul", Chul said, walking out of the classroom.

WHAT ABOUT THE WATER ON THE FLOOR?!

"What are you doing? Follow me!", Chul said.

... Should I follow him? What if it's a trap? I could just fight back anyways. I'm not supposed to change, though. What if Taehyung doesn't like it? But if I don't, I'll get sick...

"Fine", I said, following him to the gym locker rooms.

I'm gonna get in so much trouble.. I can just feel it.

"You see? Now you're ready to go. I'm sorry it's only gym clothes but that's what he has. That mask is still soaked. Why are you still wearing it? Take it off", Chul said.

The least I can do is keep the mask on for Tae. I feel bad already.

"No one wears a soaked mask. Take it off or I will", Chul said.

...I just met this guy and he's bossing me around. Tch.

"Happy?", I asked, rolling my eyes once I took it off.

"Jeon Jeongguk?!", Chul questioned, looking surprised.

"Do I know you?", I asked, weirded out.

"Nope but I know you. A lot of people know who you are. You and your team compete with many schools and have won every single game. You're so cool!", Chul said, getting all over my personal space.

Didn't know I was well known in other places besides-

"Is it true you flirt with girls a lot? Must be nice having girls fall at your feet", Chul said, interrupting my thoughts.

... I wanna leave.

"Not anymore. I lost interest", I said with a look of boredom, hoping he'd notice and go away.

"Oh"

"What about your best friend Kim Taehyung?", Chul asked.

"What about him?", I asked, curiosity getting the best of me.

"Everyone knows you two are very close. Did he come with you?! I wanna see him!", Chul said.

"What's with the interest in my best friend?", I asked. Technically, we're not best friends anymore but it won't hurt to lie.

"One, I truly am lucky to have him. Two, why the fuck do you have Tae as your lock screen?!", I said.
