《TaeKook/KookV | What Are We?》Chapter 28

"Would you like to put your theory to the test? I'll gladly show you who's the one that doesn't know what they're talking about"
"Are you hearing yourself now? Who are you?", Dongjin asked.
"Name's Jeon Jeongguk. The captain of Bangtan High's football team", Jeongguk introduced himself.
"So, you're the famous Jeongguk? What are you even doing at this school? Piss off and mind your own business along with your gay ass", Dongjin said, not giving a fuck.
"The hell do you know if I'm gay or not? Why are you even bringing sexuality into this? Or do you just call everyone that? Even if I were, I'd definitely still be able to attract more girls in life than you could ever hope for as a straight guy", Jeongguk said, shrugging.
"Leave", Dongjin said, grabbing Jeongguk by the shirt.
"We were just talking, man. No need to be so aggressive. Why don't we have a 'friendly' mini game? The other team you played against with just now left to who knows where. Let's divide your team. We each get five. I'm only suggesting this to show you that you could use some improvements when it comes to teamwork and being a captain. How does that sound?", Jeongguk said.
"Why should I even bother? You're only gonna embarrass yourself while playing, anyways", Dongjin said.
"You piss me off, did you know? At least when I act cocky, I do it because the person in front of me isn't worthy of respect. The word captain and you don't even sound good together", Jeongguk said, scoffing.
"Bring it", Dongjin said.
"Huh?"
"I'll show you that you're wrong. Let's play", Dongjin said, looking at Jeongguk seriously.
"Fine. Go ahead and pick your five players", Jeongguk told him.
Dongjin looked at his teammates carefully and then picked his players.
"There. I'm done"

"Thirty minutes of practice, alright? I would like to get to know my teammates better. Come on, guys. Let's go to the end of the field over there", Jeongguk said, pointing at the direction.
The five boys nodded and walked away with Jeongguk. They were actually excited to see how it was like to play with the Jeon Jeongguk.
"Okay! Let's introduce ourselves. Feel free to call me Jeongguk", Jeongguk said smiling.
"Hey. Call me Kyung-Tae. If you'd like, you can call me Kyung or Tae for short", the boy with brown hair introduced first.
"I'll stick with Kyung", Jeongguk said.
"You're one of the first few to call me by that one. Most people call me Tae", Kyung-Tae said.
"Oh, uh.. you see, my best friend is named Taehyung and I call him Tae. I don't know. It just feels weird
to call someone else that", Jeongguk said.
"Kim Taehyung, right? The boy who models for Gucci every once in a while? My best friend Chul has him as his background for his phone. He certainly is quite popular. Just like you. You two are like the perfect team", a boy with dark gray hair said.
"You're friends with Chul? Are you Geun by any chance?", Jeongguk asked.
"How'd you know?", Geun asked.
"Well, I believe you didn't come to school yesterday when I arrived. Chul threw a bucket of water at me when I entered because he thought I was you", Jeongguk said, getting flashbacks from the scene.
"I apologize for his behavior. We prank each other at times", Geun said, bowing a bit.
"No, don't apologize. It's fine", Jeongguk said.
"By the way, what's your name?", Jeongguk asked the black haired boy.
"Oh! You can call me Suho", Suho said.
"Suho, huh? What about you?", Jeongguk asked, pointing at the blonde.

"Byung-Joon"
"Hm, you?"
"Chang-Woo"
"Great! Quick reminder. This is only a mini game so let's just focus on the main positions. I forgot to ask what side we'd be taking so I'll just go over both offense and defense, alright?", Jeongguk said.
"I can tell this is going to be awesome!", Geun said with excitement.
"You bet it is. If we lose, then uh.. that's a first for me but a loss can be good at times. It makes you stronger. Anyways, back to the game. Let's cover defense first. For our defensive line, I think two would be good. The same amount for cornerbacks. For line backers and safety's, one each. How does that sound?", Jeongguk said.
"Oh, that sounds good. Since it's six for each side, two players would be good for the defensive line in case the offensive line has one through three players", Suho said.
"Definitely. As for the corner backs, two is nice. One on each side in case we have wide receivers on either side of the offense team", Chang-Woo said, nodding.
"One line backer and a safety would be good too. They serve as good backups. For a mini game, these are not bad positions at all", Byung-Joon said.
Geun and Kyung-Tae agreed.
"I'm glad you all like the idea. What position would you guys want to take?", Jeongguk said.
"I'd like to be part of the defensive line. Personally, I think I do best there", Geun said.
"Tae and I would be good cornerbacks", Chang-Woo said and Kyung-Tae nodded.
"So that just leaves a line backer and a safety. What would you like Suho?", Byung-Joon said.
"Uh, a safety. Is that good with you?", Suho said, not wanting to take a position his teammate would have wanted.
"That's fine. I'll be a line backer. That leaves you as part of the defensive line along with Geun. That okay?", Byung-Joon said.
"I don't mind. It's all good. Do you guys have any ideas for offense?", Jeongguk said.
"Two offensive lines?", Suho questioned.
"Yeah. We need a quarterback, as well", Kyung-Tae said.
"That makes three players so far. Three more", Jeongguk said, taking into account the ideas of the others.
"A running back. I don't think it matters whether it's a fullback or halfback. Either is fine", Geun said.
"That just leaves us with a tight end and a wide receiver. We could work two ways here. Two wide receivers or a tight end and a wide receiver. How should it be?", Jeongguk said.
"A tight end can stick close to either the offensive line or a wide receiver. Considering the fact that we might be competing with two cornerbacks, maybe two wide receivers. One on each side, facing the cornerbacks", Byung-Joon said.
"I see where you're coming from. Not bad. Not bad at all. I like it. Now, choose your positions", Jeongguk said, smiling wide. He was very much looking forward to the game.
With their remaining time, they talked about all sorts of plays and possibilities that could happen in the game. They even did quick play examples. All six were having fun and getting along super well.
When it was time, both teams gathered at the center of the field.
"What side will you be taking, captain?", Jeongguk asked.
"How thoughtful of you, Jeon. We'll be defense", Dongjin said, rolling his eyes.
"You guys okay with offense?", Jeongguk asked his teammates who nodded.
"Alright. We'll be offense then", Jeongguk said.
"I look forward to your failure", Dongjin said cockily.
"The feeling is mutual", Jeongguk said with the same tone in his voice.
"Flip the coin"
