"Jeongguk. Did you forget about our game this Wednesday?", Jackson asked.

"No. I practiced yesterday at home. Why do you ask?", Jeongguk said.

"Coach says that the whole team should stay after school for an hour or two. That includes today and tomorrow. You just got back and the team isn't doing that great. The game is in two days!", Jackson stated.

Jeongguk nodded his head. His mind then thought of Taehyung and how he's a cheerleader.

'It's been a long time since I saw him crossdress', he thought.

"Will the cheerleaders be practicing with us as well?", Jeongguk asked.

"I'm not sure but I'm assuming that they are since they rarely get the chance to practice. Wait, are you asking because of Taehyung?", Jackson said while Jeongguk just smiled sheepishly as an answer.

"You're so whipped, Jeongguk. Anyway, you better come to practice after school today!", Jackson said before heading towards class.

"Minnie!"

Jimin turned around and saw Jennie running up to him.

"Oh, hey Jenn! What's up?", Jimin said with a smile.

"Nothing much. Tae announced that we have to stay after school for today and tomorrow", Jennie said.

"Really? Why is that?", Jimin asked.

"Well, the game is on Wednesday. You also missed a practice so it'd be best if you came. We're a bit behind but that's only because we're missing the ending choreo routine", she stated.

"Oh, right! How could I forget? My boyfriend is in the football team", Jimin awkwardly laughed.

"I forgot myself. No biggie. So, I'll see you at practice?", she said, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, definitely", Jimin answered.

"Well, I'll see ya later Minnie!", Jennie said, waving off.

"Time out please", BamBam called out panting as the coach blew a whistle.

"Well played you all", the coach says.

The rest of the team were either drinking water or wiping away the sweat from their body with a towel.

"I thought you guys told me that the team wasn't doing good", Jeongguk said, pouring half of his water on top of himself to stay fresh and cool.

"Who said that the team wasn't doing good?", the coach asked unamused. Everyone pointed at Jackson.

"Ya'll traitors. I only said that to get Jeongguk to come. We also needed some practice with him", Jackson said, laughing nervously.

"Forget about who lied and who didn't. The point is, we're gonna see the cheerleaders in action. How much you wanna bet that ours are better than the ones in that other school we're competing with?", another teammate says.

"Don't forget the we're the hottest football team in history", another one said proudly.

"Yeah. We have our captain Jeongguk, Jackson, BamBam, Minho, ...., ...., ...., ...., ...., and Yoongi", another says.

"Wait, where's Yoongi?", Jeongguk asked.

"Look over there. He's being charged by his boyfriend", Minho said, pointing to the other side of the field.

Jeongguk looked over to where Minho was pointing and sees Jimin hugging Yoongi. The rest of the cheerleaders were taking pictures and jumping around in happiness.

'And then he tells me not to be all touchy with Tae', Jeongguk thought as he rolled his eyes.

He then sees Taehyung sitting in the bleachers, looking his way. Taehyung waved and sent a flying kiss to Jeongguk which he pretended to catch.

The others were just staring at Jeongguk with wide eyes until Jackson spoke. "I told you they were dating. Give me my money."

"I'm not dating him, you donkey! Mind your own business", Jeongguk said.

"Even though I may or may not want him as my boyfriend", Jeongguk muttered lowly.

"What was that?", Jackson asked with a grin while the latter just blushed.

"Shut up. Let's continue practicing. MIN YOONGI! CHARGING TIME IS OVER! GET BACK HERE!"

"That's it for today. Go home and rest. See you all tomorrow", the coach announced, picking up his belongings.

"I'm leaving ya'll. Good day", Yoongi said, putting his bag over his shoulder.

"Typical", Jackson muttered under his breath.

"What was that?", Yoongi asked.

"Nothing. I just said I was gonna go out with my girlfriend", Jackson lied while Yoongi just raised an eyebrow, giving him a questionable look.

"You're dating someone? You hate commitment", Yoongi said, not believing any words that came out of Jackson's mouth.

'Just like someone I know', Yoongi thought eyeing Jeongguk.

"Oh.. uh, she's just worth it. You know? Being with her is really amazing. She respects me and always told me she'd wait for when I'm ready. Now, we're dating. Yes, I'm not a fan of dating but when I'm with her, I forget all about that. I know I love her and so does she. I'm not afraid of being with her because I know our relationship won't fail. Even if it does, it'd be worth it", Jackson spoke. Yes, still a big ass lie.

'Oh my god. What bullshit did I just say? I don't like anyone and I most certainly don't want to date', Jackson thought, almost puking at the thought.

"Bro. What the hell did I just listen to? Ew. Also, I did hear you earlier...", Yoongi said disgusted while Jackson mentally face palmed himself.

"At least we know you have a girlfriend who you cherish. Congrats. We should meet her. Bring her to the game", BamBam said.

"Yeah, I will", he replied nervously. On the contrary,... he was thinking something else-

'Fuck, no. That was a lie'

"By the way. You coming with me Kook?", Yoongi asked but Jeongguk didn't respond. Jeongguk was staring off into space. What Jackson said was replaying in his mind for some reason.

"Dating...", Jeongguk mumbled.

"Wait! If we win, well, we'll obviously win but who'll do the speech thingy? You know. Like thank you's and appreciation words in front of the crowd", Minho said.

"Jeongguk, of course", BamBam replied.

"Speech...", Jeongguk mumbled again.

"THAT'S IT!"
