Willow Juno was thrown into life with luck not on her side. Her whole life she had nothing and no one, living on that side of town did that to you. On her side she grew up surrounded by thugs, gangs, drugs, and gamblers. She adapted to this life and thrived. Even when her mom passed at the age of 7 leaving her with her dead beat dad.

She hadn't planned on going to college, she barely went to high school. With the little money she had it was out of her reach. That was until her and four other people from her school were offered free scholarships to one of the richest schools, in the good side of town. She knew this was her only shot at having a future. Still she hated the idea of being with prissy girls and snobby guys.

Paxton Axle was every girls dream guy and he knew it. From his perfect hair to his bright future, he had it all. He was the starting quarterback and a golden boy with a perfect girlfriend. He never thought he would be attracted to a girl like Willow. That was until he meet her.

He hated how the whole group acted. He hated people from that side. The whole idea of her annoyed him but something about her pulled him in further.

He didn't see the girl who would beat someone almost to death or the girl who would drink and smoke her youth away. He sees the girl who is there when he's drunk and is there to calm him down when he's mad.

When he sees that girl it's hard not to fall for her. Even when she's just a friend.
