《Dreams of Happiness (BonexScourge)》Chapter Three

Scourge woke up the next morning, immediately remembering his task and sighing, he sat there stretching and lazing around for the first hour or so of the night, then forced himself to get up, his alluring blue eyes glowing in the dark new moon night.
He walked out of his privet alley to hear the screams and yelling of his cats, believing it to be an attack, he raced around the corner, but he only saw a ring of cats spitting insults at Bone, who was being held down by thirty or so cats. He sat there helpless, screeching at a brown cat that was helping hold him down.
Complete pain sadness and fear filled Bone's eyes as he screamed at Brick- "I TRUSTED YOU!! WHY NOW!! AFTER ALL THESE YEARS" he screamed, the brown cat simply smiled, and continued to hold Bone down so the others could jeer.
Scourge walked around the corner and yowled loudly "STOP" at that all the cats were silent as they turned and looked at their leader.
"What is all this about!?" He said angrily "Why are you hurting and demeaning my henchman?!"
"You'll understand when I tell you Master Scourge" Brick said in a sly voice, slinking towards Scourge, "You see, this cat" Brick spat, tapping Bone on the head "Is a Tom lover"
Bone had a look of utter fear and sadness in his eyes, tears fell freely down his muzzle as he looked at Brick "Brick, I rescued you off the streets, I made sure you lived, I never gave up on you when others did, I trusted you with my secrets! I told you EVERYTHING" Bone hissed furiously.
Brick simply smiled, "Yes, yes you did my dear Bone, my fake father" he purred in a sickly sweet voice "But, it's my turn to shine! It's my turn to be the favored one!" He spat in Bones face, all the fake kindness evaporated in less than a second.

"Do I get a say in any of this?!" Scourge roared in fury "I am your leader I decide what is right, and what is wrong! Your petty arguments do not concern me!"
"But Scourge! He likes to-" Brick was cut off as Scourge gripped him by the throat and let his claws prick the back of his neck.
"You arrogant beast" Scourge hissed, claws gripping tighter "Did I not just say I am leader here? Well, let me repeat it if you didn't hear" Scourge rose on his back legs, somehow lifting Brick "I. Am. Leader. Here"
Scourge dropped him to the ground, Bricks skull hit the cement with a hollow thud yet Brick still tried to get up, falling on to the ground with each try. Scourge lowered himself down onto four legs again and as his long claws clicked menacingly on the ground he spoke "I'm sick of your annoying little voice Brick"
"I'm going to rip off your head" slash
"And feed it to the dogs" snap
"Then I will rip out every bone in your body, and decorate my alley" thud
"And finally, I will use your pelt as bedding and your teeth as trophies" crack
Scourge slashed and banged Bricks body around until his heart beat no more, then he turned towards the watching cats and said in a sweet voice
"Bone will remain my henchman, and none of you will tease or hurt him, any objections?" Scourge raised a claw covered in Bricks blood and smiled when all he heard was silence "I thought not, Bone, come"
Bone was completely silent as they walked away from the crowd of cats, but when they were out of earshot, he exploded.
"Master! You mustn't do such reckless things! They could overthrow you!" Bone yelled in concern.

"Them, overthrow me?" Scourge scoffed, looking up at Bone, eyes glowing even fiercer after the fight.
Bone simply sighed and slumped his shoulders "Your right, but why defend me? I...I don't like she-cats" he felt his fur heat up as he looked at his feet.
Scourge broke into a fit of laughter "And that makes you a worse henchman? You still fight and and are smarter than any other cat I've known!" He said "Liking toms changes nothing! Now go, I want some alone time" Scourge hissed, walking away, still giggling over Bones comment.
Bone simply stood there, dumbfounded as he watched Scourge leap onto a fence post, then race away.
"Huh?" Was all he could muster out before turning to do his daily rounds around the Twolegplace, thoughts fogged as he tried to figure out the little black cat that he thought he knew.
