Sometimes the literal things in life

are too literal, they become figurative.

The world still seeks the sarcastic,

despite its already endless sets of ironies.

Satisfaction is a honey bee's battle cry;

Contentment—the garden's elusive dragonfly.

Some things never change.

Neither literal nor figurative.

Remove the leash;

let those thoughts run free.

Let's humor ourselves, shall we?
