《When I'm with You》3

Razor quietly walked behind Bennett holding a stack of books. "I think it's best to read about Mondstadt's history first before we go exploring." Bennett explained.
The two males had a bit of free time before lunch and decided to check out a few books about the history of Mondstadt.
He grabbed another book off the shelf and carelessly placed it on top of their stack. Razor put his chin on top of the books, holding the stack in place.
Bennett turned around,"Oh.. did I take too many?"
Razor just stared at him, unable to move his head or the books would fall.
"Sorry!" Bennett exclaimed.
"Shhh!" The librarian shushed him from her desk.
Bennett flushed pink with a bit of embarassment and took a few books to hold on his own.
"We can check out and then go get lunch together." Bennett whispered, leading Razor to the front desk.
Bennett put some books into his bag and Razor did the same. "Alright! Let's go get lunch!"
"Shhh!"
Bennett blushed again,"Sorry."
Razor smiled softly and followed Bennett to the cafeteria.
"This time I brought my lunch money." Bennett spoke, getting in line with Razor and selecting a hotdog for himself.
Razor on the other hand selected chicken breasts as his meal.
After paying for their food, the two boys sat down at the same tree as yesterday. "Should we read after we eat?"
Razor nodded, eating his food.
"Okay." Bennett responded, watching the other students walk around in the courtyard as he ate.
"You know, I was thinking.." Bennett turned to face Razor,"We could take pictures and report on Mondstadt.. or.. we could work on the project as we explore."
Razor finished one of his chicken breasts before making a number two with his hands.
"Yeah I liked that idea better too." Bennett spoke.

The two males quickly finished their lunch and together went to put their trays away.
"The freaks are friends? I'm not surprised." A girl whispered as they walked by.
Razor met the eyes of the girl and immediately she turned away.
"Jeez.. People can be so rude." Bennett huffed, grabbing Razor's arm and pulling the boy back to their spot. Razor looked down at Bennett's hand for a moment before looking away. Warm..
"Anyways, I'll take this book, and you can start with that one." Bennett spoke, handing a book to his partner. "Can you write some notes?"
Razor nodded, grabbing a notebook and a pencil. He watched as Bennett reached for his bag and almost knocked his open water bottle over onto the books.
With quick reflexes, Razor picked up the water bottle.
Bennett turned around curiously. "Oh!" He watched as Razor closed the water bottle. "I almost spilled it didn't I?"
Razor nodded.
"Oh man.. that would've sucked. Thanks Razor." He smiled and took the water bottle back from Razor.
Razor just opened his book and began taking notes the way Bennett told him to.
Razor was a quarter of the way through the book when the bell rung for their next class.
Razor looked up at Bennett.
"Oh, that's the bell isn't it?" Bennett put his book away,"Let's head back."

"Alright. I hope you all brought your gym uniforms for today." The teacher spoke. "Take the next ten minutes to get ready." The teacher left the room.
Most of the students nodded, while Bennett panicked.
"Gym class?" Bennett repeated anxiously staring at the board at the front of the classroom. Razor looked at him curiously. "I don't really like gym class."
Bennett turned to face Razor,"People usually target me."
Razor grimaced. Mean.
"They were pretty mean." Bennett sighed,"Also I don't have a gym uniform to wear. Just my luck.. I must've left it at home."

Razor pointed to himself.
"Wait.. do you have a second one?" Bennett asked.
Razor nodded, opening his backpack and handing the clothes to Bennett.
"Oh. Thank you!" Bennett exclaimed.
Together, the two boys made their way to the lockerroom. Bennett decided to change in a bathroom stall while Razor decided to stay in the main changing area.
Razor turned to his locker and began to change his clothes as well. Something about Bennett's behavior was.. funny. Razor found himself drawn to the boy and his constant energy.
It certainly wasn't a personality he'd seen before, but Razor was sure he was quickly getting used to it.
Bennett returned a moment later looking rather energetic. "It's a bit loose on the top, but I like it!" Bennett turned around excitedly to show Razor his outfit, tripping in the process and falling to the ground.
Razor sprung forward to help the boy up.
"Don't worry! I'm okay." Bennett attempted to dust himself off and stand on his own, "Oh no.. my knee is bleeding." There must have been some gravel or tiny rocks on the floor.
He huffed,"I need a bandaid."
Razor grabbed one of Bennett's hands and brought Bennett's arm around his shoulders. "Razor you don't have to-" Bennet looked down to see Razor's other arm supporting him by the waist.
Bennett laughed,"Honestly, I'm fine I can just limp my way there."
Razor shook his head and continued to assist Bennett to the nurse.
"Okay fine. I'll let you come with me. But I think I'll be able to walk perfectly fine in half an hour." Bennett spoke.
Razor just shrugged and helped Bennett into the office. The nurse took one look at Bennett, who had numerous bandaids all over him, and sighed,"Have a seat."
Razor sat Bennett down on the bed and turned to face the nurse.
"You don't have to be here.." The nurse trailed off but Razor just sat down beside Bennett. "Alright then."
She grabbed an antiseptic to clean off the would as well as a bandaid. "Do you want ice?"
"Um.. I'll be fine-"
Razor nudged Bennett.
"Yes. I want ice."
The nurse grabbed a bag from the freezer and handed it to Bennett. "Okay this might hurt a bit." She spoke, pouring a bit of antiseptic on a cotton ball.
"I'm used to it." Bennett smiled.
Razor looked at the boy with concern and watched as he didn't flinch from the antiseptic. "Alright! All done." The nurse placed a bandaid on the wound. "Try to be careful next time."
She turned around and grabbed two pieces of paper,"Here are your passes."
Bennett took the passes in his other free hand and scooted off the bed to stand on his own.
Razor looked at him with a glare.
"Fine." Bennett put an arm around Razor's shoulder and let Razor take him back to class. "Wait can you hold these?" He handed the passes to Razor.
Razor put them in his pocket and wrapped his arm around Bennett again.
Bennett blushed before talking to hide his embarassment,"You know, it kinda sucks, I didn't even make it into the gym." Bennett laughed awkwardly. "Ah well.. maybe on Thursday I can participate."
Razor nodded and took Bennet to their classroom, sitting the clumsy male down in his desk chair.
"Thanks by the way." Bennett smiled up at Razor and the male's eyes widened.
Cute. Razor thought.
"Huh? What happened?" Bennett asked.
Razor shook his head and sat down in his own seat.
Bennett just dismissed the look Razor had given him and decided to continue reading for their project.

Digital Immigrant
This is the story of how James Allen Quick and Sarah Lynn Abernathy died. By 'died', I mean that their hearts stopped, their brains ceased sending electrical impulses, and all other physical functions terminated. Immediately after which, their bodies were placed into an industrial furnace, reduced to ash, and the ash was spread about in one of the last forest reserves in North America. As ash-spreading locations go, this ranked third. First and second places were, of course, a person’s favorite athletic team’s playing field and the sea. Or rather, I should say that this is how the story begins. You see, it’s what came after that is so interesting.
