Erwin:"So how did the meet-up yesterday go?"

Hange:"Every word he told us is comparable to what was in the file. He couldn't explain how the girl killed those men however."

Levi:"I believe she's the same as me."

Erwin:"Care to elaborate?"

Levi:"When I lived in the Underground, I suddenly had a moment of what to do in a situation where it was a life-or-death moment. She found herself in the same place as me and acted the same way I did, kill or be killed."

Hange:"Hoh! That's great news, if he were to accept our invitation, then maybe he can bring Mika and we'll see what sort of abilities she can display!"

Erwin:"Mika? Invitation? What did you do?"

Levi:"Four-eyes thought it would be a good idea to invite him here and see if he could help us against the titans."

Hange:"Well, imagine if he has more weapons or secrets that we don't know about that may help us defeat the titans. The prospect of having advanced weapons such as his would prove beneficial to the Survey Corps!"

Erwin:"Hange..."

Levi:"We haven't even seen his weapon, he refused to let us see it, remember? Also, I doubt he'll willing bring us the girl since it looked like he cares a lot for her just to put her in danger."

Erwin:"Hange, your only mission was to ask them questions not bring invite him here. However, if he can prove himself against the dummy titans, then I'll approve of one expedition with him in."

Hange:"Yahooo!!!"

Levi:"Why did you agree with her, Erwin."

Erwin:"I guess it's my gut telling me to go along with it. Continue training with your squad until the expedition, dismissed."

Mando:'Is this what girls like?'

Carla:"Oh, that's a pretty dress. Is it for Mikasa?"

The two were out shopping for clothing and food for the house. Mando gave permission to Eren to take Mikasa and meet his friend Armin while him and Carla go out shopping. As a precaution, he gave Mikasa a transponder just in case anything goes wrong.

Mando:"I don't know exactly...is this what you people buy for little girls?"

Carla:"I'm sure that anything you buy her will make her happy."

Mando:"Guess you're right...how is Grisha doing?"

Carla:"He's fine, he's been visiting a patient far out and comes back late. I do worry though, such as when he doesn't help me convince Eren to stay away from the Survey Corps."

Mando:"Is the Survey Corps really that bad or do they have a bad reputation?"

Carla:"I'm surprised you don't know this but they go outside the walls and fight off against the titans. Before they leave, there's always a good amount of soldiers leaving but they lose a lot of them when they come back. Grisha helps the soldiers with mental treatments or physical treatments if they survive the expedition."

Mando:"I see, I still don't get what's scary about these 'titans', do they really look like humans?"

Carla:"I can't say for sure but some of the surviving Survey Corps members do say they do look like us. They've been trying to regain land for us which is why they always travel outside."

Mando:"I might just have to accept their offer then."

Carla:"Offer?" She questioned but then realized what he meant.

Carla:"You don't mean you're going to join them!? Not many survive when they venture outside the walls!" Her uproar caused the surrounding people to look their direction. She noticed this and quickly apologized.

Mando:"Well, yes. I used to move around a lot and being in your house prevents me from doing so. I can also use the information I find to help me learn about this place."

Carla:"Oh? I see then but if you do go, try to be careful."

Eren:"We're home!"

Carla:"Oh welcome back children. Did you take Mikasa to meet with Armin?"

Eren:"Yeah, we found him getting beat up by those bullies again. It makes me angry when they pick on him and make fun of him for his books."

Mikasa:"Where's my papa?"

Carla:"Oh, he's upstairs getting a present ready for you." This got little Mikasa all fidgety now since this was going to be the first time she received something from Mando. Carla stifled a giggle upon seeing her cute reaction. He came down the stairs as he heard the voices of the three, Eren and Mikasa noticed he carried something else with him.

Eren:"Is that Mikasa's present!?" He could barely hold back his curiosity.

Mando:"It is, I don't know whether you'll like it or not but I thought you would need something new to wear." He then handed her the box. She held onto the box, unsure of what to do as she had many emotions going through her head at once.

Mando:"You don't have to open it now, it can be later."

Mikasa:"No, I want to open it." She then carefully removed the wrapping around the box and removed the top cover. What lied inside was a blue one-piece dress and a white sun hat with a blue bow-tie. She stayed staring at the gift while the three looked at her.

Mando:"If you don't like it, I can always go back and return it. We could go together and find something you like." He was then cutoff when she lunged at him for a hug. The lunge caught him off-guard as she appeared in an instant and her strength surprised him as well.

Mando:'What the hell!? She's way too strong for a little kid!' He thought. He looked back at Carla and Eren as they both had a smile on their faces since this was the first time Mikasa was this happy.

Mikasa:"No papa, I love this present! Please don't change it out, I'll wear it!" She pleaded with tears in her eyes.

Eren:"Let her keep the dress! She likes it a lot!"

Carla:"He's right, this is the first time she's been happy since you two first came here."

Mando:"Would you like to go around town with the dress on?" She pulled back and quickly wiped away her tears.

Mikasa:"Really!?"

Mando;"Yes, now go clean yourself first and then we'll go walk for a bit." Mikasa then quickly grabbed the box and rushed upstairs to ready herself.

Carla:"It's great to see her all energetic now, that's a great thing you did for her."

Mando:"Well I am doing my best to cheer her up, these pasts couple of days haven't been that great." Not long after that, Mikasa came back down the stairs wearing her dress.

Carla:"Oh my! She looks adorable!"

Mikasa:"Thank you..." She bowed her head in thanks and also to hide her blushing cheeks. Mando let out a little chuckle when he saw her embarrassment.

Mando:"Let's go, kid."

Mikasa:"Papa, hurry!"

Mando:"Be careful!"

Mando:"Oof!" He bumped into another stranger by mistake as he tried catching up with her. The strangers hat fell off from the impact causing Mikasa to come back and pick it up.

Noble:"Watch where you're going buddy!"

Mando:"Sorry about that."

Noble:"Tsk, just make sure that doesn't happen again buddy, I have friends in the Military Brigade!"

Mikasa:"Mister! I picked up your hat!"

They both then turned towards the little girl as she did a kind act by retrieving the hat. The stranger, who turned out to be a noble, then thought of a sick idea.

Noble:"Say buddy, that your daughter?"

Mando:"You could say that, why?" He asked.

Noble:"I'll tell you what, I'll forgive you if you can slide her over for tonight. I'll pay you handsomely as well if you agree~" As he said that, he had a disturbing smile on his face. He didn't take too kindly to that so he punched him square in the face catching the attention of the surrounding people. Mikasa saw the act that her father did and was shocked that he did that.

He didn't stop there as he punched him repeatedly, breaking a rib or two on the nobleman.

Noble:"AHH!"

Mikasa felt disturbed by Mando's ruthless show of force against the noble. Some MP's started rushing to the scene as they were called upon by several witnesses.

MP:"You there, stop!"

Mando stopped his beating of the noble as he gave himself up to the MP's. They were placing him under arrest as Mikasa ran up to them,

"Papa!"

MP:"Back away you little bitch!" He was about to backhand her away but she ducked under it and knocked him off balance by kicking his legs. Another MP charged her but was met with a punch to the face by her.

Mando:"Mikasa, stop!" She then stopped when he called out to her, she looked back as she was also placed under arrest.

MP:"Stupid bitch!" He was going to backhand her again but a voice stopped him from doing so.

???:"Oi!"

They all looked towards the voice and discovered it to be the Captain himself, Levi.

Levi:"What were you about to do to her?"

MP:"She was resisting arrest and injured me and another. I was simply about to..."

Levi:"About to what? Hit her? You MP's really are nothing but sacks of shits. Let them go, Erwin wants to see them both."

MP:"You waste of tax dollars don't have authority around here. We, Military Police, control what goes on inside the walls so go back to your commander, short-stack." He turned around and laughed it off with his MP buddy while walking back to Mando and Mikasa. Levi didn't take kindly to that so he delivered a roundhouse kick right against his head, sending him flying straight into a wall.

Levi:"Care to try that again?" He asked the unconscious body. Levi then turned towards the other MP who was cowering in fear.

MP:"Alright, alright I'll let them go." He then released the two while turning tail and running off. The surrounding crowd could only spectate the debacle going on before them.

Mando:"Don't do that again, you could've gotten hurt if Levi hadn't come by."

Mikasa:"But I only wanted to help you. Those bad men wanted to take you away from me."

She wore an upset expression as she was receiving a scolding from him. Mando couldn't stay mad at her and quickly forgave her.

Mando:"You did great, just make sure you think before you act, got it?"

Mikasa:"Okay."

Levi:"Are you two done?" They both then turned towards him.

Mando:"Yeah we are and thanks for getting us out of that."

Levi:"Don't mention it."

Mando:"Who's this Erwin guy you mentioned?"

Levi:"He's the commander of the Survey Corps. Hange really wants you to join us in the upcoming expedition so he wants to see if you're capable of killing titans. I came here hoping you could shut up her since she's been rambling on about you and the girl."

Mando:"Good, I've been wanting to perform some things that'll help me."

Levi:"I see, now follow me. I brought you an extra horse but left it tied up since you got into trouble."

Mando:"He needed to be taught a lesson." He said as he pointed to the noble's unconscious body.

Levi:"I see, let's go." They both then followed Levi to get the other horse.

Mando:"You alright, kid?"

Mikasa:"Y-yes, thank you."

Mando:"Don't sweat it."
