A Navy haired boy worked at a coffee shop year around. A day came which they both will remember is was October 6th, the day they met.

--Shuichi's pov--

"K-Kokichi! S-Stop throwing s-sugar cubes a-at the customers!" The Blue haired boy shouted. "Aww is Shumai getting mad at me?" The smaller bot throws a sugar cube at Shuichi's eye "O-Ow ouma~kun stop that!" As soon as he finally shouts the purple haired boy freezes and sadly gets back to work. A boy with green hair and Olive eyes that Shuichi could get lost in walks in the cafe. "Hello could I get a-" before he could finish a sugar Cube flys and hits his forehead. "I-im so S-sorry sir!" The green haired boy laughs a bit, putting the sugar Cube on the counter as Shuichi throws it away. "Its fine" He looks at the name tag for his name "Shuichi." The Detective in training freezes "H-How did you know my name?" The adventures laughs "it's on your name tag, I'm not a bad guy I swear" Shuichi's face turns red from embarrassment as The unknown green haired boy talks again "My name is Rantaro Amami" usually Shuichi would only get the customer's order and be done with it and move on but something compelled him to know more about this boy. He was lucky it was a slow day. "W-Well Amami~kun, what would you like? O-On the house A-as a apology of course." He blushed at his own statement. Rantaro smiles and speaks, "Instead of that how about I get your number and we can chat on your break?" The blue haired boy got even more flustered. Before he could say anything the purple gremlin shouted "OoOoooOooOooOo Saihara~chan is going on a date-" only to be hit in the head by there boss Hajime. Hajime stated "He will, his break is right now actually right Saihara?" His boss stated, almost glaring at him to Agree. "Well Saihara? It's fine if not" "A-Alright, here" He handed Rantaro a small piece of paper with his number and his name on there as he takes off his apron. Rantaro smiled that he got the boys number. "R-Right! R-Rantaro W-what would you like? S-sorry I-I forgot to ask" the Smaller of the two boys asked "A Carmel Latte please" the purple haired boy shouted "I GOT IT" From the back on the store. "No no not again!" As the Boss tackles the gremlin. Rantaro stood there in shock of what just happened. "D-Dont worry Amami~kun i-its Tuesday, this always happens." "It does?" "Y-yep" A boy with hair like a cloud went over and made Rantaro his drink and gave it to him with a piece of cake as well. While the two boys in the back fought. "Sorry for the wait, as you see we are having a little.. problem" the Cloud boy said. Rantaro laughed a bit then Rantaro thanked him and he walked away. "So Shuichi, How do you like working here?" "I-I like it i-i guess B-but then a-again i-i have t-to deal with people w-which I dont like s-so.." Rantaro smiled "People can be a pain sometimes-" aloud banging sound interrupts him and Shuichi jumps a bit. Some voices can be heard from the back of the cafe"I won Again!" The smallest boy cheers "Is Hinata~kun ok!?" "Probably not" Rantaro looks at me "So this is what you have to deal with?" "Y-Yep.. t-this is why i-i like t-the night shifts more." After a while of talking Shuichi learned the Rantaro is in school to be a Teacher, likes to travel and has 12 sisters. "12?" "Yep and I'm the oldest" he sighs and then chuckles a bit. "W-wow.. H-How do you deal w-with all them?" The Detective questioned. "Simple actually, I dont" this makes Shuichi laugh and he doesnt know that Rantaro's face heats up at the sight of this.
