《String//Nagito Komeada》.7.

Your world is crumbling to the ground. You can't believe this. How could this happen? After nearly 9 months of... this oddly formed romance it's just...
"Nagito! I... I hate you! From the start I knew this was a terrible idea! It's ALWAYS what you want! Well... I'm sick of it! God! I'm- I'm done. Goodbye."
You grab your coat, and look at him.
"Anything to say? No?"
He lets out a sigh and looks at you. All you can do is stare at him intensely.
"Whatever. Ill just go." You sigh, and walk out the door.
It's late at night. You can't help but replay the moment, the mere 3 minute moment.
"Nagito! You're home!" You happily cried out.
Nagito closes the door, and the sound of it echoes the apartment.
"Hey (Y/N) Nagito reluctantly calls back.
Something is definitely wrong. Maybe he had a bad time out?
"Nagi? Is something wrong? I cannot stand my best friend being sad!" You exclaim.
"I... have to tell you something. I can't bare to keep this in anymore."
Nagito leads you to the couch and sits you down.
He sighs.
"I met her."
You look at him, confused.
"Her?"
Another sigh from Nagito.
"My..."
Oh no- he didn't---
"My soulmate."
"How do you know?" You ask, standing up.
"I uh- well, to put it simply, no matter what happens to your string, you still have a connection with your soulmate. And today, while getting coffee, I found her." Nagito explains.
"How?" You ask.
"I bumped her. Her name is Hanna. She's so amazing!"
"You said that about me!" I scream.
"You're not her, I guess. I'm sorry (Y/N). I'm truly destined for Hanna. I'm going to untie us.
"I can't believe you!!" You scream.
And then... that's when you walked out.
You sit on the bench, wondering why you ever let this happen. Your best friend just... betrayed you! There's a whirlwind of emotions whipping around in your head.

You don't know what to do. You're basically homeless now, and alone. No where to go but forward. You sit on a bench, that's in the park you're walking through.
You put your head and your hands and your elbows on your thighs. Tears are falling from your eyes, and they just won't stop.
"Hey!" A voice calls out.
You hesitate to look up.
You see a tall boy above you. He has glistening olive colored eyes, and chestnut brown hair. His hair is a little spikey, and part of it is sticking straight up.
"I guess you're talking to me?" You say through a sniffle.
"Yea." The brown haired boy awkwardly replies, scratching the back of his head.
You sigh. "I guess you wanna know what's wrong?"
The boy nods. "Yea. I don't normally see pretty girls crying in parks at... almost 3 am."
"Sit down then, pretty boy." I say with a small laugh. "You're in for a ride.
"Oh, hey, before you tell me your, maybe saddening story, tell me your name."
"I'm (F/N L/N)." You tell him. "And yours is?"
"Hajime Hinata."

"So... yea. That's that. I basically don't have a soulmate anymore. That's nice. I mean... I know I didn't believe it before but now that it's been exposed to me it hurts to know I'll be forever alone." You finish explaining the whole situation to him.
"...Wow." Hajime breaths.
"Yea." You reply.
There's a silence, but a comfortable one.
"So. I have nowhere to stay. Any crusty motels nearby I can live in?" You joke.
"Theres one down the road. I would offer my house but a motel is probably more comfortable than my tile floor." Hajime replies.
"Mind showing me the way? I don't wanna get lost." You ask with a smile.

Hajime nods, and grins.
"Of course."
He grabs your hand, making you blush.
Something feels weird though... it's almost as if sparks are going off in your chest. But, you ignore the odd feeling and walk off with him.

"Alright. Here we are." Hajime says, stopping in front of the creepy motel.
"It's better than being with Nagito I guess." You chuckle.
Hajime laughs along with you a little. Probably to be polite.
"Anyway... I guess it's time for me to get going." The boy sadly tells you.
Your smile drops almost immediately. "Oh."
Hajime nods. "Yea. I hope to see you around, (Y/N)"
He turns on his heel and starts to walk away, and without thinking you call out
"Hajime!"
He looks back with an eyebrow lifted.
"Do you wanna stay?" You sheepishly ask.
Hajime beams. "I was hoping you'd ask."

As soon as you get into your room, you collapse on to the bed.
"So. Glad. To. Rest!" You breathe out.
Hajime chuckles at you.
"You're something else, (Y/N)."
You sit up, and Hajime sits down next to you.
"I've had an interesting night with you, (Y/N)"
"The good kind right?" You ask.
"Of course." Hajime says with a smile.
You both sit there next to each other.
"(Y/N)... I'm gonna do something stupid." Hajime says.
"Stupid? What are you going to-"
And before you know it, his lips are on yours.
... And you like it.
You lean into the kiss, making it way more passionate. Hajime wraps his hands around your waist, and you put your arms around his neck.
Hajime though, breaks your kiss.
"Should we stop? Before this turns uh, into more?" He awkwardly asks.
"No."
Hajime chuckles a little. "Is this even a good idea? I mean I just met you like, two hours ago."
"Oh, no it's a terrible idea. But I'm a sad, sad girl right now, and if i were a boy I would take advantage of that." You tell him, slowly leaning in as you do so.
"I normally wouldn't, but lately I've just been doing whatever the universe tells me to do." Hajime says.
"Is she telling you do this?" You ask.
"She's tells me to do you." He huskily replies, and breaks the distance between you.

In the morning, you wake up. Naturally you're confused.
Normally you don't wake up in a motel with a stranger. Naked.
"God, what the hell did I do last night?" You huff to yourself, as you shamefully pick up all your clothes off the ground.
You felt off. At first you thought it was simply the fact that you did something tremendously stupid, but it couldn't of been.
This feeling is too familiar.
You try and think back to when you felt this before. You lay back down, and stare at the ceiling.
Was it when you snuck out to "play" with Nagito when you were 15?
No...
Maybe the time you drank when you were 16?
No, no those are all just rebellious things.
Oh! Maybe when Nagito cut your string?
No, no. Not even close.
Your mind blanks for a second.
Then-
String.
String.
"Dear god no..." You whisper.
You look down at your finger, and you see it.
A dark red string, connecting to the brown haired boy in bed next to you.

Though, some worlds are in desperate need of some due to monsters or demons causing damage to them. To help isolate them and save the worlds, the Gods created a plan. The plan gives each world a rank that shows the danger level of the world. The plan also ranks each God depending on how powerful and wise they are. Then, each God gets assign to a world that matches their ability and rank. This said the Gods are unable to interact with the world directly. They can only do a couple of things, which none of the actions can save the world. Due to this, the Gods bring Heroes to their world so that the Heroes can save the world. The Heroes come from other worlds that have passed away. The plan picks out Hereos and then the Gods train them so that they are prepared to save the other world. Within the realm that the dead goes to for judgement, a person stands in line with a soul so bright it might be mistaken for a God.
