“Enough?” Lou Qianxue shook her head. “No, it’s not enough! Today…” She stood up tall and straight. With an indifferent expression, she pointed her sword at Master Meng. “He must die!”
“Impossible!” The middle-aged man refused. “Master Meng is one of the few fourth-grade refiners in the Imperial City. Since he’s also a master of the Refinery Union, we will not stand idle and watch someone kill him!”
The other refiners, who had appeared at the same time, also glared at Lou Qianxue with hostility.
One of them even threatened her, “If you dare touch him again, don’t blame us for being impolite!”
