Will let out a contented sigh as he leaned over and picked up his jacket. His button up shirt had been undone on the top two buttons, and his tie was loosened almost completely.
"Have fun?" The smiling man asked as he stood near the human.
"Haha!" Will laughed heartily. "You know me. I just enjoy the quality time with you guys."
Gzemnid grinned as she floated overhead of Will. "Hopefully this will tide you over for some time. I mean, two events so close together? Quite a rare treat."
"I mean, I'd prefer consistency over a burst of time, but I'll take any time with you guys. You know?" Will explained.
"Yes. Yes." The smiling man nodded. "You've made yourself quite clear. But, our time here has run short."
"Our time has run short?" Stoor asked. "What is it, a midget!"
The giant worm didn't even pause before he started to wheeze out a raspy laugh.
"Dude, chill it with that," Adargon said as he wiped the sweat from his brow. "You know that's offensive or whatever. You're supposed to say little person."
"What?" Stoor scoffed. "Since when?"
"It's been ages. A lot of people have been up in arms about it for a while," Adargon continued. "And reasonable people have changed words because it's the polite thing to do."
"Harumph," Stoor scoffed. "Preposterous. You can't just change language like that!"
"Come on man, that happens all the time." Adargon said.
"He's quite right, you know." Gzemnid agreed. "Most insults were not originally meant to be that way. Culture just changed the word into a derogatory term."
Will had a genuine smile on as his friends argued over the meaning of words. A hand settled on his shoulder and he looked up to see the smiling man with a big grin right beside him.

"Savor this memory little ant." The smiling man asked. "Things are changing, and it's about time we made our ways home."
"I suppose if we have to." Will sighed. "But, we could always just go do something else after this? Maybe head out for some food, or something?"
"Come on man," Adargon said as he shook his head. "You know how bust we are."
"Right...of course," Will sighed.
"We will meet again." The smiling man assured him. "After all, not even death could stop us reuniting this last time."
Black smoke surrounded the smiling man first, and then the others became engulfed in similar smoke. As the smoke began to fade away, each of them were suddenly gone completely. With no trace of them left behind.
Just the karaoke machine sat behind waiting for the next performer to pick a song.

Scenario 66
Silven isn’t too happy when he stops to consider his miraculous prison escape, a guiding voice on the air and the herd of terrifying black knights hunting him down and realises he may be important. Equally, he’s not going to be too happy when he learns he’s nothing more than a character in a video game in chapter 3.8. There’s just no pleasing some people. But by the time of this realisation, Silven is all-powerful and all-arrogant, with a couple of game-breaking businesses under his belt. And when he finally understands he has been meddling with the very fabric of his own reality, the damage may already have been done. This fiction contains: * Approx. 4,342,213 video game tropes, mechanics and cliches * Very light levelling and business development (but no tables. Other than the one on the cover). * A rather acquired taste in dry, sarcastic humour. * 0 dragons. Why no dragons, man? Chapters will be released EVERY DAY, in order to sufficiently punish you for all the bad things you've done in life.

I Have Even Read the Rulebook!
As all stories begin, Prof died. Yes, truck-kun had something to do with that, but also a bird, a cat and some rebar. When he was presented with with the opportunity in the Afterlife Administration Bureau to be transmigrated into a game-like fantasy world, he did something, no one ever did: he read the Rulebook. Follow Prof on his road to be rich without working, touring a whole new world without a care and witness his realisation, that despite having read the Rulebook the folks living with the System for untold millennia know more about the rules. Important notes: 1, I'm not a native speaker, so be prepared for occassional typos, iffy grammar and maybe awkward sentences. The spell check was running, when I wrote the chapters, but it works in strange ways... If you point out mistakes, I will try to correct them 2, Scheduling will be two chapters a week, posted Saturdays before noon (CET). Depending on how much new chapters I can write consistently there will be probably more but as long as I have leftover chapters, the two per week will be posted no matter what. Chapters will be around 1500-2500 words as MS Word counts it. 3, I did not and will not post this novel on another site, if you find it somewhere else, please inform me 4, The Main Character's progression is slow, there will be no Levels, Skills, Abilities, Feats, Perks and Cheat Powers raining down on him 5, I've put Comedy as a genre because of my writing style not because the novel is a comedy per se. On the other hand, Traumatising Content is there because there is a lot of speciesism - those Elves are not nice people. 6, I put a lot of pop-cultural references into the chapters, try to find them! Enjoy!
