Shed our past trauma and detached like fall leaves,

Do not fear the unknown for we don't know what it brings,

Anxiety, it clings, I never noticed all the chains,

My pen is like a hammer and my notepad is the anvil,

Beating on my craft and hoping that the world will answer,

No slowing down or stopping, I know quitting's not an option,

My whole family's looking up to me, my kids are always watching,

Papa's gonna do this, no more quitting on my dreams,

I will beat upon my craft til I succeed,

I will be the man I know that I can be,

A beacon for the lost who don't believe.
