“Do you know about the Evil Spirit Race?” Yi Tianyun asked the cultivators coldly.

“Evil Spirit Race? We don’t know about them.” The cultivators said while shaking their heads. They have heard about it, but they didn’t know about them specifically. But it was normal for them to be unaware of the Evil Spirit Race. After all, the Demon War was already a thousand years ago, and most of the records depicting the war were either lost in history or destroyed by the Evil Spirit Race!

They knew that they might be too late to inform the 4th Layer City as climbing the ladder to the 4th Layer City would take some time. Besides, they didn’t have any other means of communication other than going to the said level themselves!

Yi Tianyun kept going without any problem. The ladder towards the 4th Layer City might be more challenging than those in the lower level, but that didn’t mean it could halt Yi Tianyun’s progress. But even if everything seemed easy right now, Yi Tianyun knew that he would soon face someone that might be more challenging than any other opponents he had battled with in the past!

“This isn’t the right time to talk. I want to challenge the City Lord right away!” Yi Tianyun said indifferently.

“What? Did you want to die, brat? Why would you challenge the City Lord right away?” the cultivator asked as he was baffled by Yi Tianyun’s word.

“Seriously, this place has gone nuts! There was this hot woman that came up in the past that also di the exact same thing as this brat! And look at that! He already has the City Lord imprint on his arms!” Another cultivator said as he overheard what the previous cultivator was talking about with Yi Tianyun. “But look kid, Qin Jiang, the City Lord of this 4th Layer City was actually the older brother of the City Lord you just killed. If he knew that his brother was dead, you would be in serious danger!” the cultivator said while shaking his head.

Yi Tianyun wanted to ignore these people, but he was intrigued about the woman who took the same path as him. “a woman did the same thing I do?” Yi Tianyun said to himself, but he knew that it wasn’t the right time to inquire about that as he had to complete his own mission! So, he ignored the cultivators and walked straight towards the City Lord Palace!

He looked around on his way there and noticed that the average cultivation level was the late Core Transformation stage or early Void Spirit Stage! The cultivation level of this place wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t something that Yi Tianyun needed to concern himself with now. Suddenly, he heard a loud banging sound from the City Lord Palace. Yi Tianyun looked really close and saw that the sky above the palace was filled with Netherworld’s fire, but there was another flame that tried to pressure the Netherworld’s Fire!

“Immortal Fire?” Yi Tianyun said to himself as he recognised the orange-coloured fire. Yi Tianyun thought about it for a while and arrived at one conclusion! The only person he knew that was also capable of controlling the Immortal Fire was Bai Shuihuang, the Lord of the Phoenix Race!

He knew from the cultivator earlier that a hot woman was walking the same path as he does, and if it were a woman, the probability that it was Bai Shuihuang increased exponentially.

He rushed towards the City Lord Palace and went right through the crowds. Sure enough, he immediately saw Bai Shuihuang fighting against Qin Jian. Both of them were at Spirit King Peak Stage, making the battle even more intense.
