Yi Tianyun knew that he got to control Ancient Netherworld Divine Tower as soon as possible as there was a chance the gate to another world could be opened in this exact place! If he was too late, more demons could come and devastated the Three realms with ease! Furthermore, he already promised himself to destroy the Evil Spirit Race, and it was aligned with his Quest!

When he came to the 5th Layer City, the number of cultivators inside was far smaller than the number of cultivators on the previous floor. The cultivation of these cultivators was also far higher than people on the previous floor as Yi Tianyun noticed that most of them were at Spirit King Stage!

“It’s the new kid! He is the new 4th Layer City’s City Lord after defeating the 3rd and the 4th City Lord consecutively! That kid must be thinking of challenging Master Su Changming! But does the city lord want to accept his challenge?” The cultivator wondered as he talked with another cultivator.

“Well, I guess we will have to wait to find out, hehe!” the other cultivator said enthusiastically.

There was no one waiting at the entrance of the stairs this time. It was obvious that the news about Yi Tianyun conquering each floor has reached this floor, so no one thought of receiving him this time.

“Well, we have heard about it before, but what is the problem?” one cultivator asked as he was confused.

“I have heard that the Evil Spirit Race was a race that could devour another cultivator to gain their power!” another cultivator chimed in.

“Since some of you already knew about them, then you should get the big picture already!” Yi Tianyun said casually.

“I don’t think it matters right now! They have nothing to do with us anyway. They can eat any cultivator for all I care as long as they don’t bother us!” another cultivator said indifferently.

“Yes, that is true! As long as we got along fine with them, they wouldn’t do anything to us! Other people’s lives have nothing to do with me!” Another cultivator said indifferently.

“Do you really think that you’ll be alright as long as you leave them alone?” Yi Tianyun coldly said as he began to think that these cultivators didn’t seem to get it even after what he said!

“Boy, are you sure your head is alright? Are you seriously thinking that you are some kind of saviour that comes here to save us? Don’t you hear us? As long as we leave them alone, they wouldn’t do anything to us!” another cultivator said annoyedly.

“Yeah, that’s right! They are the master of this tower, and there is no merit in picking a fight with them! It’s wiser to follow them than putting the odds against you!” the cultivator nodded as they agreed with that wise word. They looked at Yi Tianyun with disdain as they thought that nothing good would come from listening to Yi Tianyun!

But Yi Tianyun didn’t really care about these people. Obviously, a human that tried to leech off the Evil Spirit Race was the enemy of humanity! But then again, there was no need for Yi Tianyun to save them here, as the enemy of humanity should perish as soon as the Evil Spirit Race that they adored so much disappeared from this world!

“Now, if someday the Evil Spirit Race successfully rules over the three realms and then one day they had the urge to devour a cultivator that may be your family in the future, will you still bow your head to serve them?” Yi Tianyun asked coldly.

“What are you talking about, you idiot? That is impossible! If by any chance it happens, I will serve them more devotedly as I am sure that they would treat us better that way!” the cultivator tried to mock Yi Tianyun.

“I will judge you!” Yi Tianyun said coldly, and an intense light immediately enveloped the cultivator. The cultivator in question tried to run away, but he was too slow, so the sharp light pierced the cultivator’s heart, killing him in an instant!

Yi Tianyun was furious that the cultivator was so adamant about serving the Evil Spirit Race! Nothing good would come from letting this kind of people walk freely in this world! The cultivators even went as far as mocking those that tried to dethrone the Evil Spirit Race! This was why there was no need for Yi Tianyun to show mercy to this kind of people!

Evil Spirit Race should be exterminated, and nothing could compromise Yi Tianyun from achieving that goal! The evil deeds that the Evil Spirit Race has done were unforgivable, and killing them as quickly as possible was his way of showing mercy!
