Chapter 915: Dragon Carnival ②

It’s the day of the Dragon Carnival. I still had some time to spare after finishing the preparations, so I had a cup of tea with Lilia-san and asked her about the Four Great Demon Dragons I had never met before as a way to prepare for the event.

Hoping that dragon enthusiast Lilia-san would know about them, I asked her about them while we were chatting, thinking that it would be great if I had some idea of what kind of people they are……

[The first one among the Four Great Demon Dragons Kaito-san has never met would be “Eingana-sama”, known as the “Ocean Ruler Water Dragon”. She leads the unit known as the Ocean Scales, and is the one who manages the seas of the Demon Realm. I don’t know if it was because she was the only one of her species or not, but her species doesn’t have any specific name and is just called Water Dragon. I’ve heard that she’s a quiet and calm person, but has no mercy for those who devastate the Demon Realm’s seas…… Battles for such reasons were apparently as large-scale and as fierce as the raging oceans. She’s classified as a colossal-sized dragon and is said to be over a kilometer long.]

[She’s a beautiful dragon with indigo scales, and I think she’s quite the beauty. I’ve only seen her from a distance, but I think her beauty is one of the best among the dragons. Unfortunately, due to its nature of living in the sea, I almost never got the chance to see her whole body…… However, I’m a little hopeful that perhaps, this time, Eingana-sama will come ashore and I might get to see her whole body.]

The information was told to me in more gusto than I expected. Her eyes seemed to sparkle more than usual, so she must really like them.

Thinking about it again, she collects models and other stuff like that, so I suppose she’s quite the dragon fanatic. Well, I can understand the feeling of wanting to talk about one’s favorite things, and she isn’t really as crazy about it like Eden-san, so seeing her like this somehow makes me smile.

[The other one is “Grandiereus-sama”, known as the “Infallible Ground Dragon”. He’s a Hellground Dragon, which are originally humongous dragons, but Gradiereus-sama is the most gigantic of all Hellground Dragons, and his body is said to be the second largest in the world after Dragon King-sama. In terms of overall length, it’s said that he’s almost ten times the size of the aforementioned Eingama-sama.]

[He also sounds quite amazing.]

Eingana-san’s length is over a kilometer, and if it’s almost ten times like that, he’d be over 10 kilometers long…… That’s quite the outrageous size. In terms of size though…… Magnawell-san, who was according to Alice, had a total length of approximately “30,000 meters”……. 30 kilometers, so Magnawell-san should be the size of three outrageously-sized Gradiereus-sans…… Magnawell-san is seriously too big.

[He leads the unit known as the Earthen Tail, consisting of the subordinates who are above colossal dragon-size. They’re a unit with quite the intensity, being so powerful that it said that the earth literally shakes when the Earthen Tail marches. Because of their size, there aren’t many opportunities to see them all in one place, so I’m really looking forward to today!]

Unnn, well, I’m glad that Lilia-san is having fun. As we continued chatting for a while, it seemed like it was finally time, so Lilia-san and I began moving.

I’ve never been to our destination before, but Frea-san said she would pick us up, so we headed to the Teleportation Gate where we planned to meet up.

When we arrived at the place we planned to meet up, the Teleportation Gate in the Southern Demon Realm, we found Frea-san already there. When Frea-san saw us, she put her kiseru back in the holder at her waist and approached us.

[Good to see you, my comrade, as well as Duchess Lilia. Representing the Dragon King’s subordinates, I welcome you.]

[Hello, Frea-san. Thank you for the invitation today.]

[It’s been a while, Nidzveld-sama. I will be in your care today.]

After hearing my and Lilia-san’s greeting, Frea-san smiled and nodded once before speaking.

[It’s said that the total number of people in Dragon King-sama’s camp is about 88 million, and among the Six Kings, the second largest number of subordinates after Phantasmal King-sama, so it’s indeed difficult for only the four executives to command everyone, so the four units are further divided into squads.
