Chapter 255
“I also received an item to solve the magic of the mark.”
Amiletta’s mark emits magical energy even if you put it in your inventory. Soo Hyuk received a pouch from Cranosson to prevent the magic from leaking out. Now they don’t have to worry about it.
“Then, if you want to go as fast and as secretly as possible…”
Yeon Jeung looked at the map at Soo Hyuk’s words and began to plan the route.
“I think we can go all the way down from here and then go up, how about it?”
Within a short time, he said, drawing a line from Alin to Kyrad with his fingers.
“I wish it were.”
Soo Hyuk was also thinking of the same route.
After deciding on the route, Soo Hyuk arrived at the east entrance, put a map in his inventory, and then summoned a ghost wagon.
It was then that the high demon Shuros in charge of the eastern entrance, approached.
“Hello! Where are you going…”
Shuros asked, with a puzzled expression on his face.
It was difficult to deal with Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung for Shuros who had just become a high demon in less than 5 years. But he had no choice but to ask as he oversees the eastern entrance.
“We want to leave early. Reconnaissance.”
It wasn’t a difficult question to answer, and Soo Hyuk answered right away.
“Thank you!”
When Soo Hyuk answered, Shuros smiled broadly and bowed his head to thank them then offered them a safe trip.
?.?
Soo Hyuk was skeptical of Shuros’s excessive thanks. He sat in the passenger seat with a puzzled expression on his face.
Yeon Jeung started driving the wagon as soon as Soo Hyuk sat down.
“But didn’t you say you have the skills to show me?”
Yeon Jeung asked as they left Alin’s vicinity.
“Oh!”
Soo Hyuk exclaimed in response.
“Yes, I have something to show you. Stop for a moment.”
Yeon Jeung stopped the wagon at Soo Hyuk’s words.
Soo Hyuk got off the wagon.
“Alter Ego.”
And cast the skill ‘Alter Ego’.
*Swoosh*
Then, a magic circle appeared in front of him, and then an alter ego with the same appearance as Soo Hyuk appeared.
Yeon Jeung looked very surprised when he saw the alter ego.
“Is that an alter ego?”
He immediately asked Soo Hyuk.
“Or a clone?”
A clone that does no damage is different from an alter ego that can do damage.
“An actual alter ego.”
Soo Hyuk laughed at Yeon Jeung’s question.
“The ratio? Fixed? Or proportional?”
Yeon Jeung asked again.
“Proportional, now 30%.”
“Wow, that’s really no joke. If it gets the equipment effect.”

Soo Hyuk smiled bitterly at those words.
“It can’t get the equipment effect.”
“Huh? Are you saying it’s an actual clone?”
“Only stats are affected.”
Soo Hyuk answered as he climbed up to the passenger seat.
“Stats? Pure stats? Without the equipment bonuses?”
“Yes, 30% of my pure stats”
“Magic? Can it use them all?”
“Yeah, even if I don’t order it, it will use it on its own.”
As they talked, the wagon started moving again.
“But it’s not following you?”
Yeon Jeung glanced behind him while driving the wagon, then said. In the case of the children of darkness, they always followed suit unless Soo Hyuk gave special orders. However, alter ego did not move from its seat.
“It stays the same no matter the distance.”
“Uh, distance doesn’t matter.”
Unlike the children of darkness, the alter ego was not limited by distance. Of course, there was a big disadvantage of short duration.
Soo Hyuk nodded his head and then cast a spell.
“Sight sharing.”
It was the skill ‘sight sharing’.
*Swoosh*
A small window appeared when he cast Sight Sharing. From the window, he could see mountains, trees, and plains.
“What skill is that?”
Yeon Jeung looked out the window and asked.
‘Something is familiar.”
The sight that appeared in the small window, he had seen it somewhere.
‘Sight sharing?’
Then, Yeon Jeung suddenly remembered the skill name, and continued to say with a hopeful expression.
“Are you going to share your sight with the alter ego?”
“Yea.”
Soo Hyuk smiled and looked at the window. The scene in the window was where they had just been.
“OMG!”
Yeon Jeung got goosebumps from his answer.
“Can you scout with this?”
Soo Hyuk’s alter ego can use magic. In other words, it can fly and warp somewhere. It can be very useful for reconnaissance. Also, what if it uses stealth magic? Covert reconnaissance was also possible.
“Right. It’s a shame that orders are impossible if it’s far away.”
Of course, it wasn’t the only advantage. There were also downsides. It was the distance. As the distance from the clone increases, he couldn’t give an order or cancel the order he had given.
Soon after, the duration of the alter ego ended and the sight sharing window also disappeared.
“But is this also a job-specific skill? I’ve never heard of such a skill among Illusion spells.”
Yeon Jeung asked after the window disappeared.
There aren’t many illusion attribute wizards, but he had studied because it was strong in person-to-person combat. However, the skill ‘Alter Ego’ was unheard of.
“Yea, a unique skill! There are a few more than these, but I haven’t learned them yet.”

Illusion attribute is different from other ones and there were few more skills.
Of course, he didn’t know it through a quest. In the book 『What is Illusion Magic 』, some spells were added after Alter Ego.
‘I must become an Archmage.’
It was magic that was not in the skill quest. Perhaps it would only be unlocked after opening all the doors and becoming a true Archmage.
_______
“It’s time to go.”
Cranosson checked the time and stood up.
“Sigh.”
Then he sighed and picked up the sword that was resting on the desk.
It was then that there was a knock on the door.
“It’s Kion!”
The voice of Kion, in charge of ‘Alin’, was heard.
“Come in.”
Cranosson took his hand off the sword and spoke.
*Swoosh*
Soon the door opened and Kion entered.
?.?
Seeing Kion’s expression, Cranosson was puzzled.
It was because Kion’s expression was full of embarrassment.
“What’s going on?”
He immediately asked Kion.
“That…”
Kayon blurred out the end of his speech. But that was for a while then he spoke.
“Humans have appeared.”
“Humans?”
He had no choice but to question. It was unexpected.
“Yes.”
Kion nodded his head.
“Aside from Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung?”
Cranosson asked with a look of disbelief.
“That’s right. However, those people seem to know Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung. They said that they should meet.”
At Kion’s next words, Cranosson couldn’t help but be surprised.
The appearance of humans is also surprising, but do they also know Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung?
‘Did they come through that portal?’
Cranosson recalled the forbidden ‘Field of Fire’.
It was impossible to go from the Demon World to the Middle World, but the reverse was still possible. Did they possibly come from there?
“How many are there?”
Cranosson asked Kion after thinking about it.
“Three.”
“Where are they?”
“They’re in Ilom. Shall I contact them?”
“Yes.”
“All right.”
Kion bowed his head and went outside.
Cranosson sat back down on the chair and thought about it.
‘Three.’
_______
Yunjin looked around the room. It was spacious, but it was full of luxurious furniture and decorations.
“Why are we being treated so hospitably?”
He muttered in bewilderment not understanding the situation.
“Yeah.”
Leah nodded her head in agreement and continued.
“The atmosphere towards us is weird.”
The reaction of the demons was strange. It was the first time they had seen them, but she could feel that they were being treated very hospitably and carefully.
“It’s so different from the kids in Kyrad.”
It was a completely different reaction from the demons of the Kyrad Faction that attacked on sight.
“Is it a Faction personality difference?”
Yunjin muttered.
There must have been several reasons for the division into Factions, and it seemed that personality played a major role.
“Is it because of those two?”
But Leah had a different idea. Whenever Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung’s names appeared, there were demons who looked respectful and in awe.
Seeing the reactions of the demons, she thought that they were being treated like this because of Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung.
‘Why?’
The Hunting King thought as he listened to Leah and Yunjin conversation.
‘What did they do in the 10th Demon World?’
Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung were clearly the same as the members of the Reader guild that he knew.
When the hell did these two come to the 10th Demon World? What did they do when they came? He was curious about everything.
‘I would like to meet them.’
He wanted to meet them as soon as possible and ask.
*Knock*
“Can I come in?”
A voice came from outside the door with a knock.
“Yes.”
The Hunting King finished his thoughts and answered.
*Swoosh*
Then the door opened and Emming entered.
“I have received a call from Cranosson-sama. He wants to meet you; would you like to go?”
Emming entered the room and went straight to the main point.
“Of course.”
The Hunting King jumped up from his seat in response to Emming’s words. Then he got out of the room and started walking after Emming.
Not long after, Emming stopped near a warp gate. He said looking at the gate.
“It’s a temporary warp gate connected to Alin,” he said.
“Someone will be there to meet you on the other side.” And after finishing the explanation, he stepped aside.
“Is Soo Hyuk there?”
The Hunting King asked.
The King of the Hunt was more concerned about Soo Hyuk than Cranosson, the prince of the 10th Demon World.
“I do not know.”
But Emming didn’t know either.
The king of hunting nodded his head saying he knew. Anyway, he’s going to Alin now. He can check it himself. He then warped to ‘Alin’ through the warp gate.
“Hello. Welcome to Alin. I’m called Kion, a high demon who manages of Alin.”
Upon arrival, they were greeted by high demon Kion. Then Kion took the lead and started guiding them.
“Is Soo Hyuk here right now?”
The Hunting King asked while they were on the move. His attention was focused on Soo Hyuk.
“No. Soo Hyuk left with Yeon Jeung an hour ago.”
Kion shook his head and answered.
“Left?”
The Hunting King had no choice but to question.
“Yes, the two left for Kyrad first for reconnaissance.”
“Oh…”
He sighed.
‘Alone?’
Then, he thought suddenly.
‘Reconnaissance alone in the capital?’
The ‘Kyrad’ that Kion spoke of was clearly the capital of the Kyrad Faction. It was a place with many high demons. Did they go to such a dangerous place alone?
‘How strong are you?’
He swallowed his saliva and thought.
‘I want.’
