Chapter 1110: 1110
Chapter 1110: The Shamans’ Belief
Along with this terrifying sword Qi, Luo Yang also appeared out of the void. The place where he appeared happened to be a spot that could not be seen behind Du Xie.
“Clan Master, be careful!”
Du Jian, who was protecting the shamans below, roared loudly. At the same time, his body rose into the air, and his fist shone with a dazzling golden light.
“Rip!” Sword Qi gushed out, and the sound of tearing could be heard in the air. The 3 powerhouses from the Qiongqi Clan also seized the opportunity to attack. They knew that this was a good opportunity to counterattack.
The 3 of them attacked with all their strength and with the addition of Luo Yang, who had launched a sneak attack, Du Xie fell into a dangerous situation. He stomped his feet in the air and dodged the sword-light from the 3 powerhouses, but the sneak attack behind him was impossible to guard against.
“Pfft!”
Blood splattered across the sky. Du Xie had twisted his body to the limit, but he still could not completely dodge the sword attack. Blood splattered in the sky as if there were bright plum blossoms in the night sky.
Everyone was stunned. There was only one good news, and that was that Du Xie’s vital parts were safe. Although his wound was very long, it was only a superficial wound. Given the Shamans’ recovery ability, it would not take long for him to fully recover.
Du Jian sent a member of the Qiongqis tribe away with a punch. He came to Du Xie’s side and asked worriedly, “Clan Master, how are you?”
“I’m fine. It’s just a superficial wound.” Du Xie did not seem to be bothered but when he spoke, the corners of his mouth twitched twice.
It was unknown what attribute Luo Yang’s magic sword had, but it was corroding his wound. Fortunately, he was a Great Shaman who had lived for tens of thousands of years, and his body’s healing abilities were terrifying. If it had been any other human, even if the person had not been struck by the sword, he would have instantly turned into meat paste by the corrosive power.
Luo Yang’s body floated in the air a few thousand meters away. He looked in the direction of Du Xie and was slightly surprised. The Ancient Shamans were indeed extraordinary. Even after being struck by his demonic sword, Du Xie did not seem to be in trouble. Nonetheless, the clan master’s injuries had already worsened. Luo Yang felt that their mission to exterminate the Ancient Shamans had been half-completed.
“Brother Jin Hai, if we don’t act now, when will we?”
Luo Yang looked at the Golden Crows on the other side of the void. It would be a little difficult for a few of them to exterminate the 2 Rulers from the Shaman Tribe. However, with the addition of the Golden Crows, it would be easy for them to capture the 2 Rulers. There were 8 powerhouses from the Golden Crow clan, They were all ordinary Rulers, but their combined strength was still fearsome.

“Hahaha.” Jin Hai laughed maniacally. With that, the powerhouses from the Golden Crows transformed into streams of light and entered the battlefield from afar.
Du Jian had a ghastly look on his face. It was already very difficult to deal with the Qiongqis’ powerhouses. Now that there were 8 more of them, it was even more horrifying.
The bodies of the 8 powerhouses flickered with dazzling golden lights. The Golden Crow Fire burned on their bodies, displaying incomparable life force.
“Could it be that the heavens want to annihilate the Ancient Shamans?”
Du Jian looked at the sky with grief.
The Ancient Shamans also had other Rulers, but they were scattered in the heart of origins. Since the enemies had suddenly arrived, they definitely would not be able to provide timely assistance.
Du Xie was the core of the Ancient Shamans. If he died, the other Rulers would not be able to withstand a single blow from their enemies. It would be impossible for them to dodge the attacks of the 2 clans.
From the looks of it, they had reached the brink of destruction.
‘Is this the third great calamity?’
Du Xie was also slightly stunned. He thought of the young fellow that he had sent to the Rebirth Cave. He was the key to solving the Shaman Tribe’s calamity, but it was a pity that the enemies had come too quickly.
At this time, Du Xie looked at Du Jian with a kind look. Du Jian was the strongest Great Shaman in the tribe apart from him. He asked softly, “Do you still remember the Shaman Tribe’s belief?”
Du Jian raised his head. All of a sudden, a determined look flashed across his eyes. The emotions surging in his heart gradually disappeared, and everything returned to calmness.
“The Shaman Tribe fights against Heaven and Earth. Blood will flow endlessly, and we’ll never retreat!”
This was their belief, and it was also their belief as living beings. The Shamans should be fearless. For the sake of freedom, their ancestors of ancient times could pierce through the heavens. So what if they faced some powerhouses from the Golden Crows and the Qiongqis?
“Fearless! Fight!”
A fearless voice came out from Du Jian’s mouth. His eyes were blood-red as he looked at his opponents around him. His eyes were filled with determination. Even if he had to die, he would drag a few of them down with him.
“Fight!!”
This voice came from below. Countless giants waved their fists and shouted together, which made one’s blood boil.
‘Return to the ground.’
Du Jian heard the clan master’s voice transmission.
With that, they fell to the ground. They were not retreating but the potential of the shamans could only be brought into full play on the ground.
Shamans were the favored children of the ground, to begin with.
Luo Yang’s expression was cold. He looked at the Ancient Shamans, whose momentum was increasing bit by bit, and shouted coldly, “Since they’re courting death, let’s grant them their wish.”
Jin Hai smiled sinisterly. “That’s exactly what I’m thinking.”
In the sky, the Qiongqi powerhouses once again lit up the black sharp sabers in their hands. The flames jumped in the mouths of a few powerhouses from the Golden Crows as if they were about to shoot out at any moment.

Jin Hai pointed the longsword in his hand from afar and uttered coldly, “Kill.”
“Kill, kill, kill!”
A few balls of flames descended from the sky like falling meteors, illuminating the entire sky. The Golden Crow Fire was second only to the Heavenly Phoenix Fire and was incomparably fierce. Even the sturdy bodies of the Ancient Shamans could be burnt to ashes.
“Reincarnation Fist!” Du Jian and Du E also attacked together.
Saber-lights, sword-lights, and fireballs. The withered grass on the ground was ignited, and thick smoke and dust covered the sky.
On a tall mountain thousands of kilometers away.
Feng Xinxiao stood up and looked into the distance.
“Golden Crow Fires?” There was some hesitation in his eyes.
It had been a long time since the Golden Crows had appeared in the Great Wide World. He did not expect to encounter them here.
With his spiritual sense toward flames, Feng Xinxiao could feel the changes in the distance.
He lowered his head and looked at the vibrant mountain. Countless spirit beasts were active here. The corners of his mouth curled into a smile as he said, “After destroying a few more mountains like this, my strength will be restored to its original state. Besides, I can then take another step forward. The law of slaughter is simply a perfect match for me.”
Feng Xinxiao waved his hand, and a fearsome murderous aura covered the whole mountain. In a moment, the mountain became desolate, the river became deserted, and the hundreds of millions of creatures on the mountain turned into dry bones.
Along with the slaughter, Feng Xinxiao’s aura increased once again, and an evil light flashed across his eyes.
“Ou Yangming and that old thing, just you wait. I’ll send you to hell to reunite.”
Feng Xinxiao’s body flashed, and he disappeared into the void again.
At the same time, the mountain below him also began to crumble. Even the sturdy stones were reduced to dust. A murderous aura spread. Within 100,000 years, not a single blade of grass would be able to grow here.
On the other side, the battle at the Shaman Tribe continued.
The Qiongqis and the Golden Crows had the absolute advantage, but they were unable to deal with the Shaman Tribe on the ground in an instant.
On top of Du Xie’s head was a huge black cauldron. The runes on the cauldron were shining, swallowing all the attacks one by one.
“Let’s try again. I want to see how many waves of attack they can withstand.”
Luo Yang’s expression was ferocious. He did not expect Due Xie and Du Jian to be so difficult to deal with.
The black cauldron was a treasure of the Ancient Shamans, but it was also very difficult to use. Du Xie and Du Jian were also struggling to hold on.
They knew that if they removed the cauldron, their tribe would vanish into thin air in an instant.
The rumbling sounds of explosions continued without an end, and large cracks had appeared on the ground.
Jin Hai did not look good either. He looked at the 2 shamans on the ground and felt a little impatient. He shouted coldly, “Set up the formation.”
With that, the 8 powerhouses from the Golden Crows gathered. They maintained a strange posture, and they were performing the same spell.
Jin Hai stood proudly in the middle while the rest of the powerhouses were scattered on both sides. An inexplicable connection rose between the few of them.
Like the rising sun, a huge fireball slowly appeared from the middle. Upon seeing this, they spat out flames and gathered them toward the fireball. The small fireball absorbed all the flames and quickly grew stronger.
The fireball also absorbed the other powers of the universe. In just a brief moment, it became terrifying. A small portion of the power contained within could probably destroy a Ruler.
Luo Yang’s eyes flashed with a bright light as he said in shock, “Brother Jin Hai, you actually created such a good thing.”
The power contained within this fireball was too powerful. Even Luo Yang, who was so far away, could feel his heart palpitating.
Furthermore, this fireball was still expanding. A powerful pressure appeared in the air. The dazzling fireball cast a dark shadow over the eyes of every Ancient Shaman.
Jin Hai did not say anything. Instead, he controlled the fireball in front of him even more carefully. After a few minutes, the fireball had grown to an inconceivable size.
“Retreat!”
Du Xie turned around and roared at the powerful members behind him.
The power of this fireball…
It was too mighty. Du Xie had a premonition that they could not resist anymore. The Golden Crows had created such a divine ability. The clan master knew it was only a useless method. If they had attacked while they were accumulating energy, they would definitely not let this frightening thing appear. Unfortunately, they were at the end of their lives. There was still the Qiongqi Clan eyeing them covetously. They could not get out from below the Earth’s Demolition Cauldron at all.
“Go.”
Jin Hai’s expression was ferocious. He pointed downward, and the terrifying fireball crashed into the Earth’s Demolition Cauldron.
“Rumble…”
Flames surged into the sky as if they wanted to burn the world to ashes.
The Ancient Shamans who did not have the time to escape had their bodies set ablaze. Their gigantic bodies were burned to the point that only their skeletons were left. With a gentle breeze, even their bones turned into powder and disappeared from the world.
This was a great calamity, and it was a life or death disaster for the Shaman Tribe.
The Earth’s Demolition Cauldron fell to the ground with a clang. Its surface was completely red from the flames.
Du Xie and Du Jian endured the great impact and spat out large mouthfuls of blood. Their bodies lay limply on the ground.
“Clan Master, I tried my best…” Du Jian’s voice was weak.
“Yes, you tried your best. Everyone tried their best…”

The Lady's Handbook of Intrigue and Murder (High Fantasy Politics)
Summary:The daughter of a dying house is summoned to the Imperial City to meet and perhaps marry a handsome prince. It sounds like a fairy tale. Except Mydea doesn’t have the advantage of a half-forgotten childhood encounter, supreme magic to match the highest echelons of society, or even the privilege of an ally. In order to survive and make a name for herself, she must beat the Imperial Court at its own game. At least no one's tried to kill her—yet. Notes: Basically, if you liked the magic of Harry Potter and the politics of Game of Thrones, you'll probably like this. While the first book focuses on the female lead, and the interplay of competing regional and imperial interests, subsequent books will also cover warfare and how I imagine that differs wildly from historical norms with the introductions of a magical aristocracy.
