Chapter 1111: 1111
Chapter 1111: The Eight Trigrams
This was a vast white space. It was quiet and empty, and it was surrounded by white smoke.
There was only one road, and there was only one person on it.
Ou Yangming had forgotten how long he had been walking, but there was no change in the surrounding environment. Vast, lonely, and empty. If an ordinary person was here, one would probably have already collapsed. Nonetheless, Ou Yangming was extremely determined. Clan Master Du Xie would not harm him. There would definitely be a way out ahead.
Touching the wooden token on his waist, Ou Yangming continued to walk forward. Unfortunately, he could not fly here, nor could he use the flying carpet or the dragon boat. He could only rely on his feet.
1 step, 2 steps… Ou Yangming’s heavy and monotonous steps echoed in the air. He did not know how much time had passed, or if time existed at all. He had been holding on by relying on his will.
This was a lonely journey.
A person who could withstand loneliness would not be an ordinary person.
Just as Ou Yangming was feeling a little frustrated, a golden light finally appeared not far ahead.
Seeing this, Ou Yangming had a smile on his face. He quickly walked over and entered without any hesitation. Outside the door, the light was dazzling, making it difficult for people to open their eyes. Even so, he was very happy. At least he had escaped from that world with only one color.
What was on the other side of this tunnel?
A look of anticipation flashed across Ou Yangming’s face.
In the Shaman Tribe.
A battle had turned this place into a battlefield filled with smoke. The smell of burnt flesh was coming from the ground. In the distance, thick smoke was still rising, and the Golden Crow Fire was still burning.
Many Ancient Shamans were swallowed by the fire, and they cried out in pain. In the sky, the Golden Crows and the Qiongqis were laughing maniacally.
Luo Yang stood proudly in the sky and looked down at the Great Shamans struggling in the fire. The corner of his mouth twitched slightly. “Brother Jin Hai, don’t play anymore. Let’s kill them quickly.”
“Alright, but we, the Golden Crows, want that cauldron.” Jin Hai’s gaze flashed across Luo Yang’s body and landed on the Earth’s Demolition Cauldron.
The Earth’s Demolition Cauldron was burnt red by the flames, but it was not damaged at all. Du Xie and Du E had used this cauldron to block the attacks of more than a dozen Rulers.
This was a great item!
Luo Yang also knew that the cauldron was unusual. Nevertheless, he also knew that the greatest contributor was the Golden Crows. As such, he could not reject the request at all.
After pondering for a moment, Luo Yang responded in a low voice, “Alright, we don’t want that treasure. However, we must distribute the other good items of the Ancient Shamans fairly.”
“Alright, Brother Luo Yang, you’re indeed straightforward.”
With a smile on his face, Jin Hai waved his hand on the ground. He originally thought that he could easily grab the cauldron. He did not expect that the cauldron was still firmly on the ground and did not move at all.

Jin Hai took a glance at Du XIe and thought that he was playing tricks. His expression turned gloomy as he raised his hand and slashed a sharp blade at Du Xie and Du E.
If Du Xie and Du E were not injured, this sharp blade would not be a big deal. Now, the power of the blade was enough to kill the 2 of them.
Just when everyone thought that they were going to die, suddenly, a black and white turbid air current drifted from the distance and gently pushed Jin Hai’s sharp blade away.
“Who is it!”
Jin Hai was furious. He did not expect that somewas was still hiding in the dark.
“Kill! Kill them! Kill them all!”
Jin Hai roared loudly. Many sword-lights appeared once again. The members of the Qiongqi Clan also made their moves one after another, intending to exterminate the Ancient Shamans below.
All of a sudden, a change appeared in the sky.
The clouds in the sky kept surging, and in the vast sky, black and white Eight Trigrams appeared. The Eight Trigrams emitted immense pressure.
Black and white air currents surged from above, flying toward the Golden Crows and the Qiongqi Clan.
This inexplicable air current was terrifying. Jin Hai and Luo Yang also felt a dangerous aura. They stopped in their tracks. The appearance of the Eight Trigrams had forced them to give up on killing the Ancient Shamans below and choose to fight against the mysterious powerhouse in the sky.
“To think that such a powerhouse exists in the Ancient Shamans.”
After fighting for a while, Luo Yang’s eyes were filled with shock. They had so many powerhouses that were also Rulers, but they were actually completely restrained by a Taichi diagram. As a result, they could not even see who the person who attacked was.
The Golden Crow Clan released flames that burned toward the Eight Trigrams. Despite that, before they could touch it, their flames would bounce back again, and they almost set themselves on fire.
As for the Ancient Shamans on the ground, they also looked confused as they did not know which powerhouse had suddenly appeared to help them.
Du Xie and Du Jian lay on the ground. The blood flowing from their bodies had formed a small river on the ground. Du Jian looked at the clan elder beside him.
“Clan Elder, he’s…”
“He’s my senior brother, Ghost Face.” There was no joy in Du Xie’s eyes. Instead, there was a hint of sorrow.
“Ah, it’s Grandmaster Ghost Face. Isn’t he…” Du E looked surprised. It was obvious that he had heard of this name before.
Ghost Face was also a peerless genius in the Ancient Shamans. He was even more mysterious than Du Xie and he had even participated in the Ancient War. He was a legendary figure in the Ancient Shamans.
Having said that, there was a rumor that long ago, when Ghost Face was divining the heavenly secrets, he had fallen due to the backlash from the heavenly path. It was because he had revealed too much of the heavenly secrets.
Du Jiang did not expect that the senior was still alive. With him around, would that not mean that the Ancient Shaman still had a chance of survival?

Hope once again appeared in Du Jian’s eyes.
‘But why doesn’t Clan Master look happy?’
Du Xie slowly said, “This should be Senior Brother’s last fight.”
“What do you mean?” Du E did not understand. “Could it be…?”
At this time, Du Jian had a bad premonition in his heart.
Du Xie explained in a deep voice, “Senior Brother has divined too much for the Shaman Tribe, and his body has long been unable to bear the burden. If he doesn’t make a move, he can still live for some time. Now that his potential has burst out, it’s equivalent to cutting off his life force. I’m afraid that he doesn’t have many days left.”
Du Jian was shocked. When he raised his head again, there were tears in his eyes. The old man in the sky had spent his entire life for the sake of the tribe. Who knew, even when he was going to die, he would give up his life for the sake of the tribe.
“Senior Brother has been aloof all his life. He has been indifferent to fame and fortune, but he has done his best for the tribe. This might be the best for him.” Du Xie supported his body and forced himself to sit up. “If he dies, he won’t have to be so tired anymore.”
That said, there was helplessness in his voice. If one could live, who would choose to die?
The Eight Trigrams blotted out the sky and covered the sun. It was emitting endless energy. Luo Yang and Jin Hai were also suffering. If they could choose again, they would exterminate the Ancient Shamans at their first opportunity. That way, such an accident would not happen.
At this moment, everyone had fallen into a bitter battle, but they did not even see a single shadow.
Kill, kill, kill!
The people from the Golden Crows and the Qiongqis were also resolute. This was the best opportunity for them to exterminate the Ancient Shamans. If they were to wait for a next time, the Mountain-guarding Formation would have been restored. Even if they had twice as many Rulers, their efforts would be in vain.
A few hours had passed, and everyone was exhausted. Nonetheless, the Eight Trigrams in the sky still did not show any changes. The airflow that was emitted from it possessed a fearsome and boundless power. If one were to be hit by it, it was very likely that one would be heavily injured.
3 of the Golden Crows’ Rulers had withdrawn from the battle. They were injured and could only watch from afar. The Eight Trigrams was too mighty. If they did not leave, they might be killed.
The Qiongqi Clan was even more unlucky. They only had 3 Rulers, and one of them had died, which made Luo Yang furious. So many people of the Golden Crow Can were fine, whereas out of the 3 Qiongqi Rulers who had broken free from the seal, one of them had died.
“The Eight Trigrams definitely won’t last long,” Luo Yang said while dodging the air currents in the sky.
Such a huge Eight Trigrams would consume a lot of true vitality. Everyone knew that it would not last for long, but would they be able to hold on until then?
Should they leave first? If that was the case, the hidden powerhouse would surely lower the power of the Eight Trigrams as well, reaching a balance between output and input. It would be impossible for the enemies to drag it out until the power dispersed.
The only way was to keep fighting. Even if they could not destroy the Eight Trigrams, they had to drag it out until the powerhouse could not hold on anymore.
This was the same as going straight to a dead-end, but it was also the only way.
Nevertheless, could they really drag it out until then? Everyone was not confident. Even Luo Yang could not tell for sure. While the hidden powerhouse’s power was being exhausted, the powers of he and his companions were also being consumed.
Unless they had a super powerhouse who was proficient in the laws and could take the lead by pinning down the Eight Trigrams by himself.
Unfortunately, the powerhouses who had comprehended the laws among them were all killed by Du Xie the moment he appeared.
Just as Luo Yang and the others were at their wit’s end, a red light suddenly appeared on the distant horizon.
Luo Yang’s eyes lit up, and he said in surprise, “It’s him!”
‘Who is he?’
Before Jin Hai could ask this question, someone from afar had flown over at an incredible speed. In the blink of an eye, the person had crossed 500 kilometers.
“A phoenix?”
Jin Hai’s eyes were filled with hatred. Before the war between the Dragons and the Phoenixes during ancient times, the Golden Crows and the Phoenixes were mortal enemies. They were both flame controllers, so it was destined that they would become enemies.
However, Luo Yang could not care so much. He anxiously shouted, “Feng Xinxiao, you’re finally here. Please lend us a helping hand!”
Feng Xinxiao indifferently glanced at Jin Hai and the others with a hint of disdain. Then, he looked at the Eight Trigrams in the sky.
“Get lost. Leave it to me.”
Feng Xinxiao uttered coldly.
“What!”
Jin Hai widened his eyes. He did not expect that this phoenix powerhouse would be so arrogant and overbearing. What did he think the Eight Trigrams were? Did he think that it was a toy for children?
After hesitating for a moment, Jin Hai suddenly felt a substantial killing intent, and his body trembled. He looked at Feng Xinxiao in horror and hurriedly flew away.
Luo Yang and the others had retreated long ago. After everyone left, the wings on Feng Xinxiao’s back flapped as he charged forward like a rainbow piercing through the sun.

If you have never read that I highly recommend it, and if you have read it and enjoyed that story then I hope you'll enjoy mine as well. This is the first story I'm ever putting out for public consumption so reader beware on that. Any constructive criticism is always appreciated, simply leaving a half star review tells me that you're a moron who doesn't know how to use words. I'm constantly trying to improve my writing and feedback and criticism on what works and what doesn't is the only way to do that at the point I feel I am at. Last, I just marked all the content warnings because you never know where a story will take you and I don't want to exclude anything (though there will never be a harem). I am going to release 1-2 chapters per week on Fridays. Thanks and enjoy.
