Chapter 1129: 1129
“Sir, please let me out!”
Jin Cheng’s voice was hoarse, and his eyes were burning with anger.
Luo Qi did not say anything. He felt awful too. He had just sent his people out but lost connection with them so quickly. This had dealt a heavy blow to his enthusiasm.
The Nine-sworded Ruler looked up at the outside world then at Jin Cheng, who was kneeling on the ground. He shook his head and said, “If it was a Ruler of the second step from another race, I could still send him out, but not from your races. The seal above is very restrictive for your races. Sending out a Ruler of the ordinary law boundary is my limit.”
There were still a few such Rulers among the 2 races but even Luo Shan and Jin Wu had lost contact with them, so the others would not be helpful at all.
.
“Sir, what should we do now? The situation above is still unclear, and no one knows how many powerhouses the Ancient Shamans have sent. If they were to guard up there, wouldn’t we never be able to go to the Great Wide World?” Luo Qi’s voice was a little soft.
The Nine-sworded Ruler sighed and said, “The formation is dissipating day by day. Perhaps it’ll become even more fragile one day. As long as the 2 of you can get out, there shouldn’t be any problems.”
Luo Qi had a grave look on his face. He did not know when that day would come, so he could not bear to wait without a bottom line. He looked around then asked, “Sir, can you go up? You’re so powerful. If you go out, you can surely break the broken seal. In that case, you don’t have to go through so much trouble to send us out batch by batch.”
A dangerous light flashed in the Nine-sworded Ruler’s eyes. Luo Qi’s heart sank, and beads of sweat appeared on his head. He hurriedly said, “Sir, I’m just saying.”
The Nine-sworded Ruler retracted his gaze and said indifferently, “It’s not that I can’t go out. This seal can suppress your clans, but it can’t stop me. It’s just that…”
He continued in a deep voice, “The Great Wide World has declined, but there are still some powerhouses out there. I’ve just come to this world, and the laws of Heaven and Earth here still repel me. If I go out, I’ll be discovered by other powerhouses in the Great Wide World.”
“Please forgive me, sir. I was being ignorant.” Luo Qi wiped the sweat off his head. The Nine-sworded Ruler’s gaze just now gave him a lot of pressure.
The Nine-sworded Ruler ignored Luo Qi. Instead, he pondered for a while as if he was thinking about his gains and losses.
After a few minutes, he looked up and said, “Well, it’s okay for me to go out. I want to see how many powerhouses still exist in the Great Wide World!”

Luo Qi and Jin Cheng’s eyes were filled with surprise and joy. They bowed together and said, “Thank you, sir.”
The Nine-sworded Ruler did not answer. He looked up at the sky. This man was like a sharp sword.
He rose from the ground and rushed toward the top of the seal.
In the outside world, the battle ended soon after Ou Yangming joined. Jin Wu was injured after a few blows. He fell to the ground with a frightened look in his eyes. Luo Shan was also under continuous attacks from Du Xie. He spat out large mouthfuls of blood and was about to lose the strength to fight.
Luo Shan’s body had collapsed. His body was covered in wounds. He stood in the air and was on the verge of collapse.
“Speak! Are you going to confess honestly, or are you going to die?”
Du Xie’s eyes were cold, and his lantern-sized pupils swept over Luo Shan and Jin Wu coldly.
“In your dreams! I won’t say anything.” Luo Shan’s attitude was very firm. The reason Luo Qi sent him out was that he was loyal to him. Even if they let him out, he would not betray the race.
Jin Wu did not say a word. He glanced at Ou Yangming from time to time, and his eyes were filled with fear.
Du Xie snorted coldly, “You don’t want to talk, right? Then I’ll let you get a taste of your dissipating soul.”
He took a step forward in the air, and his fan-like palm slapped Luo Shan’s body, which had already lost its fighting strength.
Luo Shan’s body directly collapsed, and a rain of blood fell from the sky. The Qiongqi powerhouse’s sturdy body was as weak as a piece of tofu under Du Xie’s palm.
His body disintegrated in the air like a meatball that had exploded.
This was not the end. Du Xie’s other hand suddenly grabbed towards the sky, and a black shadow was held in his hand.
That black shadow looked similar to Luo Shan, but it had shrunk countless times. When Du Xie held it in his hand, that shadow seemed terrified.
“It’s too late to regret now!”
Du Xie squeezed hard, and the black shadow turned into green smoke in his hand and dissipated into the world. He was cold and decisive. This was the true and impartial character of the Shaman Tribe.
Jin Wu was afraid, and so were the 4 injured Rulers.
After all, Luo Shan’s soul had just been scattered!
Du Xie’s gaze shifted to Jin Wu. There was a hint of cruelty at the corner of his mouth. This action was self-explanatory.
Jin Wu gritted his teeth and said, “I’ll tell you! As long as you don’t kill me, I’ll tell you everything.”
Unlike Luo Shan, Jin Wu did not have the kind of fearless spirit. Especially when he saw Luo Shan’s soul dissipate right in front of him, his heart became even more afraid. He did not want to die. It was not easy for him to come out of the underground, and he had just seen the Great Wide World. He did not want to die so quickly.

“Tell me. If the answer is satisfactory, I can spare your life,” Du Xie said in a deep voice.
Jin Wu responded anxiously, “The only reason we could come out is…”
Just as Jin Wu was speaking, a sharp sword-light flashed on the ground again, and Jin Wu’s voice stopped abruptly.
Seeing this sword-light, Ou Yangming and Du Xie’s expressions changed slightly.
‘Is another person breaking out of the seal below?’
‘Isn’t this too frequent?’ Du Xie’s face was dark, and he had a bad premonition in his heart. In the blink of an eye, the sword-light dissipated and in the void above the seal, an old man with a giant sword on his back floated.
The old man’s long silver-white hair was casually placed behind his back. His beard was as long as a horsetail whisk, and he wore green clothes. His attire appeared simple and unadorned but from his eyes, one could tell that he was a person filled with arrogance. Every move he made revealed a proud and overbearing aura.
“Sir Nine-sworded Ruler!”
Seeing the old man, Jin Wu cried out in excitement. Sir Nine-sworded Ruler had actually come out from underground. His life was finally saved.
This was a sir that even their king had to kneel before. He was a conferred Ruler of the third step of the law. With such a powerhouse coming out, what was there to worry about?
Jin Wu hurriedly said, “Sir Nine-sworded Ruler, the two of them are the remnants of the Shaman Tribe. Luo Shan has already been killed by them.”
Upon hearing this name, Du Xie’s face was also filled with shock. He stared at the old man not far away, and his originally calm face was pale.
Ou Yangming was similarly shocked. If he had not met the Crimson Ruler on the way, he would not have known what the Nine-sworded Ruler title meant.
Now, he was clear that this was the title of an ultimate expert in the third step of the laws.
They actually met a powerhouse of the third step!
“The repulsive force of this world is really uncomfortable.” The Nine-sworded Ruler reached out his hand to touch the air.
No one dared to answer him.
In the Great Wide World, Ou Yangming and Du Xie were not the only ones who were shocked.
The Phoenixes’ ancestral land, on the Crimson Flames Mountain.
Amidst the dense flames, a strong man was looking at the sky. The blue Heavenly Phoenix Fire in his eyes was dancing. “Are there more powerhouses from the outer realms?”
The 10,000 Dragons Valley was the sacred land of the Dragons. It was rumored that the carcasses of 10,000 dragons were buried here.
A few children of the Dragons were playing outside the valley.
All of a sudden, the ground shook with a loud rumble.
A giant black dragon appeared in the sky of the 10,000 Dragons Valley. The black dragon was several thousand meters long. It covered the sky and the sun. It was notably ferocious. He hovered in the sky with a fierce look in his eyes.
“Pass my order on to the rest. All the juniors of the Dragons aren’t allowed to enter the heart of origins!”
The voice lingered in the air for a long time.
On the main star of the Humans, on the Zhenwu Continent.
The core area of the Dark Forest was the most dangerous place on the continent, and it had never been disturbed by outsiders. Even the most powerful team could not reach this place. The ferocious spirit beasts along the way would kill all those who tried to come here.
Nonetheless, in this dangerous place, there was a small building made of bamboo. In the spacious courtyard, an old man and a young man were playing chess.
The young man was 13 or 14 years old. Seeing that the old man did not place his chess piece for a long time, he asked, “Grandpa, what’s wrong?”
At this time, the old man raised his head to look at the sky. “Has the Great Wide World been peaceful for too long?”
He put down the chess piece in his hand and said, “I consider myself defeated for this round. I’m going out for a while. From now on, I’ll leave this place to you. Big Bear will protect your safety so cultivate well here.”
Beside them, a 3-meter-tall grizzly bear was lying on the ground. After hearing the old man’s words, it raised its head and looked over.
The young man nodded and asked, “Grandpa, is the Great Wide World going to be chaotic again?”
“I don’t know either, but we have to prepare in advance.” The old man stood up. “It’s not easy for us humans to occupy a place in the Great Wide World. We really can’t withstand a disaster. This time, I’m going out to meet a few old friends.”
“Grandfather, don’t worry. I’ll take good care of myself.”
The appearance of the Nine-sworded Ruler in the Abyss Swamp was too surprising.
His strength was suffocating.
The Nine-sworded Ruler’s gaze swept over Du Xie and Ou Yangming before he stared at the young fellow and remarked, “To have reached such a boundary at such a young age, you’re a great genius. It’s just a pity…”
To him, Ou Yangming’s actual age could not be concealed. To be able to possess such strength before the age of 20 was extremely rare even in his large organization. It was just a pity that the young fellow was a genius from the Great Wide World.
A sense of danger flashed across the ‘s eyes as his sword intent erupted. This sword intent instantly enveloped Ou Yangming and Du Xie.
Du Xie cried out in a deep voice. He could feel the other party’s killing intent.
Just as Du Xie finished, a 100-meters-long sword-light slashed toward Ou Yangming from the sky.

Cultivation Anomaly
Follow the journey of an individual given a classic cheat trope in a cultivation world. What does a man do when he finds himself unsure of who he really is yet is given a cheat? What really happens to a cultivation world when it is overrun by MC level characters? Is the cultivation world just run by cruel young masters, short-sighted elders and uncaring experts? Note: Tags may be removed or added to this story as it progresses. For example, I added the harem tag because I wasn't sure if it would appear so be forewarn. Also, productive feedback is always appreciated even it may be ignored. Note 2: Original idea inspired by "Arrogant Young Master Template A Variation 4". I wanted to do something similar but have a more gritty realistic feel. The system SHOULD differentiate as the story goes on but if it doesn't it means I need a rewrite. Either way, read AYMTV4, it's great. Note 3: If you give criticism to be helpful, please try to be descriptive, specific, and focused on making my story better, not changing the story to how you would write it. Fighting to be Kind in a Cultivation World
Aren't you tired of the typical cultivation story, where an isekai'd person comes into the world and becomes a brutal or selfish person? I know I am. So instead of being fully changed by the world, I want this protagonist to stick to their beliefs and help to change the world (and people) for the better. There will still be main character development and tests of those beliefs, but I want them to maintain that aspect. Brief Synopsis:American is thrown into a typical Xuanhuan cultivation world where the masses of the people are typically sacrificed for the abilities of the few. This is meant to be an alternate take on how protagonists approach these worlds. Main character comes into the world w/ scanning, healing, and monster taming abilities. The release schedule will begin on Dec 1st. The schedule is 2 chapters/week (Tue & Fri) at 11pm. Please like, comment, and follow, as that helps me to gauge interest in the series. Final note: I notice that many cultivation novels treat abuse or sexual assault as a throwaway tool to set a stage. I think the way it is normally done is both lazy and a disrespectful to victims. If you have any suggestions on how I can improve the way I've done it in this series, please let me know. I want to do this the right way. P.S. *Nudge, nudge* If you are looking for a sneak peek of up to 16 chapters ahead, check out my Patreon. :D
