3rd pov

As the couple were now walking towards dr Saltzman office. Nick bumped into someone. His brother.

''oh, sorry man. Didn't see where I was going'', Landon said as he looked at Nick then his gaze turned up on his ex girlfriend. It was an awkward pause, before Nick spoke ''no problem bro''. Then there was quiet again.

Nick took this as an opportunity to say something. ''look Lan. I meant what I said yesterday. I know it may be awkward for you. You know with me and Hope''. He sighed before going further. ''but I want you to at least know I meant what I said''. Hope looked at her ex then at her boyfriend, to see what was gonna happen next.

''Nick you are my brother, not because you're just blood or mud. You know what I mean, but also because when I came to this school. You weren't like the others. You welcomed me and made me feel like I belonged before I actually found out I belonged here. I know we didn't speak much after that and all, but I still considered you my friend and like a brother to me. I know you meant what you said, and I also did. It's cool. You and Hope, it doesn't bother me. To be honest I'm glad you two are together, because you both deserve each other. Like I said I want you to be happy and I see that she does make you happy''.

Nick smiled for himself as Landon said that. ''thanks man''. Hope looked at the two brothers with tears in her eyes. ''you know what would top this?'', Hope said looking at them. ''what'', they both said in sync looking at the tribrid. ''hug''. The two brothers looked at each other with an expression on their face, then they turned their gaze back on to the tribrid. ''huh?'', they said in sync.

Hope sighed and looked at the two ''is it genetic or something?''. ''what's genetic?'', Landon asked. ''your ability to be clueless''. At this Nick laughed ''sorry''. Hope raised her brows and ignored the hybrid. ''just hug'', she said. Then the both boys made an ''o'' with their mouths. They looked at each other and as for Nick being a tiny bit taller than Landon he took Landon by his head and gave him a hug as he also tackled him a little, while he also knuckled his hair.

It made the boys chuckle. It made Hope shook her head and a little smile on her face at how the boys could be goofy and cute at the same time.

''what's happening here? Is Nick beating up Landon?'', Lizzie interrupted as she saw the boys. Nick let go of Landon while he still had a smile upon his face. ''no Elizabeth I was giving him a hug and tackled him a little while I also ruffed his hair''. ''good I thought you two were having a fight or something''. ''and why would they have a fight Lizzie?'', Hope asked her syphon friend. ''well, I could only think of one thing. You''.

This made Nick go over to Hope and take his arms around her shoulder. ''nope Liz. Me and Landon are good in that department. He's okay with me and Hope's relationship''. ''good muppet'', she said referring to Landon. Landon rolled his eyes ''when are you going to stop calling me that?''. Lizzie looked him up and down then she looked at her ex boyfriend and looked him up and down. That Hope noticed and took him closer to her. ''relax Hope I'm not going to take your man. he's all yours'', Lizzie said as she noticed Hope saw her looking at Nick. ''okay I know that, but why did you look at him like that?''.

''because before you went on crazy girlfriend mode. I was going to say to muppet here. I would stop calling him that when he looks like his brother. Handsome and muscular''. ''uhm thanks Liz'', Nick said with a surprised tone. ''oh, come on. He's not that muscular'', Landon spoke up.

''actually he is'', Mg said from behind making his presence known. ''not you too''. ''sorry Landon, but he is much muscular than you. In fact he's more muscular than the school. So, don't take it personally''. ''gee thanks for the consolation'', Landon said sarcastic.

''you all know I'm right here. Right?'', Nicholas said making everyone look at him. ''yes babe we do and just admit it. You love it that you get comments like that'', the auburn haired girl said. Nick smiled ''yeah it's cool, but I would be more glad if a special girl maybe can say something''. This made Hope look at her boyfriend and as she did. There she was met by a sadden puppy dog face. ''fine. You are the most handsomest and muscular boy in the school. Happy?''.

''more than happy, princess''. As the hybrid said that. Hope couldn't stop the blushing and the way her heart skipped at the way Nick says that. ''oh, looks like someone got a little red from that nickname'', the hybrid said with his signature smirk. Then he noticed Hope was about to go, but she didn't get that far as Nick twirled her into him again. Then he took her by her chin and kissed her passionately.

They broke the kiss as they heard dr Saltzman's voice. ''Nicholas and Hope. I've been waiting and here I come to see you two kissing in the hallways'', dr S said as he looked at the teens. ''sorry Ric...'', then Nick got cut off ''dr Saltzman, Nicholas''. ''right sorry dr Saltzman. It's my fault, don't be mad at Hope. Be mad at me. It was me who made us late in the transitions cellar and now. We were just talking with our friends''.

Rick sighed ''it's okay. Just let's get started. I have someone in my office that I think can help us''. ''oh, who?'', Hope asked her headmaster. ''uhm you'll see. You know what just everyone come with me. It concerns us all so''. With that Nick, Hope, Lizze, Mg and Landon followed him.

Outside his office they were met by Joise, Raf and, Jed and Caleb. ''yeah you four too. Follow me''. the headmaster said.

Nick shrugged to the four and everyone went in. First it was Alaric, Josie, Lizzie, Raf, Jed, Landon, Mg, Caleb and then Hope and Nick hands in hand.

It wasn't at first Nick and the others saw the back of the person inside Ric's office.

Nick could sense who it was before he turned around. He could smell the vampire he hates so much, he knew that smell to well. The smell of a traitor.

''no fucking way'', the hybrid said as he shifted his face into wolf form, ready to attack.
