She then tried to leave but Jun Yexuan grabbed her wrist, “You are going to see him alone? What if he’s planning something awful?!”

He then gritted through his teeth, “I truly cannot trust that shameless man!”

Mu Jinghang asked, “What is it? He’s actually not going to keep his promise?”

Qiao Qing grabbed Jun Yexuan’s hand and patted it, “Don’t worry. Trust me and my abilities. Nothing will happen to me.”

“No way. I am going with you,” Jun Yexuan said.

Qiao Qing, “Then, unless you must, you cannot show yourself.”

Qiao Qing came to the Gong Corporation rooftop and found Gong Yi there. He leaned against the railing and drank wine.

She walked closer and handed him a stack of paper, “Here are the recipes for ‘Wild Green’ and ‘Indulgence’. All the ingredients and processes are on there. Isn’t it time for you to send people to find my dad?”

Gong Yi looked at the paper she gave him then started to stare at her unpainted and pink nails.

He didn’t take over the paper. Instead, he finished his drink.

“You were the one who saved me.”

The three men who were hidden and were eavesdropping froze.

Qiao Qing didn’t appear surprised and simply said, “I was just helping you out. We need to leave now so I hope you can keep your promise.”

Gong Yi held onto his cup tighter and stared into the horizon.

“What if I tell you, I regret it now? I can still help you with your father, but you have to stay by my side.”

Jun Yexuan’s handsome face turned dark. He was about to jump up when Mu Jinghang stopped him, “Don’t forget what you promised Qingqing!”
