The car drove away just as Xia Xin helped Lu Zhixun up.

“Change what?!” Lu Zhixun shouted back angrily, “We live so far away from here. It was hard to come. We didn’t even get to view this place and now we have to go back?!”

“How’s that possible?” Lu Zhixun shouted, “If she knows how to design, why would Leng Yan come and find me?”

“That’s true,” Xia Xin agreed and nodded. “So do you still want her as your assistant? Based on her attitude, she doesn’t seem to want to.”

“Of course! I’m negotiating with Leng Yan. He’s Qiao Qing’s friend. As long as he agrees, Qiao Qing can’t say no. We basically need to wait and see if he is going to butt heads with the government officials or if he’s going to ask his friend for a favor.”

Lu Zhixun mumbled as she walked to the washroom, “A bit.”

Xia Xin instantly complimented, “Zhixun, you are so great! You got inspired after looking at the place!”

After she showered and changed, Lu Zhixun started to busy herself in front of her computer.

At night, while Xia Xin played with her phone and she asked Lu Zhixun, who was still at her computer, “Zhixun, what should we eat tonight?”

Lu Zhixun stopped clicking her mouse and was about to speak when someone knocked.

So she ordered Xia Xin, “Go open up.”

“Huh? Who would come here at this hour? Is it the cleaning lady?” Xia Xin put down her cellphone and went to the door.
