He walked behind Qiao Qing and pulled her into a hug. He did it so smoothly it was like he had practiced this thousands of times.

“Young lady, have you eaten?”

Qiao Qing played with the tube of fluid in her hand, “Give me another minute.”

Jun Yexuan leaned in and sniffed it. His nose wrinkled as a response, “What is this? Are you using it to make perfume?”

Qiao Qing sensed the skepticism in his voice and said, “Once it’s done, it won’t be so harsh on the nose.”

Jun Yexuan didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. He only felt that Qiao Qing was being so cute when she explained everything so seriously.

He pinched her cheeks, “Okay, I’ll wait for your finished project.”

Once Qiao Qing finished this step of the process, Jun Yexuan grabbed her hand and headed outside.

Just then, another shadow walked in.

“I came to ask Qingqing to lunch. Third young master Jun, you sure are a good boyfriend. Even for lunch, you take the time to eat with your girlfriend,” Gong Yi leaned against the door and smiled in a provocative way.

Jun Yexuan rolled his eyes, “Of course. Why would I ever give others the chance to sneak a shot?”

Gong Yi rubbed his nose and sighed, “Since we ran into each other, why not go together?”

Jun Yexuan, “Who would want to eat with you? In your dreams!”

Just then, Qi Yusen came as well. He looked at Qiao Qing and asked, “Shall we go to lunch?”

Jun Yexuan, “Brother, let’s go together.”

Gong Yi, “…”

After some time, Gong Yi said, “There’s a new restaurant around called Jing Li Xuan. It tastes pretty good – better than the chefs I have at home. These days especially, the quality seemed to have improved. Let’s go together – my treat.”

Everyone froze for a second. Mu Jinghang’s voice heightened, “Jing Li Xuan? Is it related to the one from our country? There’s no franchised store in the Capital City so I thought that restaurant has no plans to expand!”

Gong Yi, “We going or not?”

Mu Jinghang, “Let’s go? Let’s go check out if it’s authentic.”

Jun Yexuan and Qi Yusen exchanged glances. They were both curious.

Outside the restaurant, the group stared at the logo. Mu Jinghang instantly said, “So it is the same brand. The boss sure is a beast. It’s straight-up going international!”

Gong Yi said, “So the original store’s in your country? No wonder their specialties are a little different than what we normally see in Country Z. It does taste good though.”

“See, the store’s only been open for two months and the business is already blooming. I bet there are going to be lineups soon. I had plans to chat with the boss.”

Mu Jinghang chimed in, “People sure do stare at what’s fat. Do you want a piece of Jing Li Xuan too? I suggest you give up.”

“The store in our country also attracted much attention. All four of the major influential families tried to acquire it but all failed.”

“Is that so?” Gong Yi was a little surprised, “That makes me even more curious.”

The group went inside the restaurant.

These good-looking men and the calm-looking Qiao Qing attracted much attention the moment they entered.

Everyone there knew Gong Yi’s face. His position in this country was well known and his reputation was well built.

Qi Yusen and Jun Yexuan’s appearances, however, caused an uproar of discussions. Their good looks seemed to out win Gong Yi.

Everyone gossiped under their breaths as they ate.

Since there were so many people here, it didn’t take too long for someone to search up who they were and share the news.
