Chapter 836: Force an Attack

Xia Houshang watched everything unfold and tried to sneak away. However, Zhi Xinai stopped her.

“Where do you think you’re going?! You’re a scam! Not only did you waste precious time when my son was here, but you also killed him! Give me my son back!”

She then started hitting Xia Houshang.

“How dare you!” Xia Houshang’s nicely done bun had been pulled apart. Her expression was now stern, “Don’t make me hurt you!”

Jun Yexuan rolled his eyes, “The one who died deserved it. Blame his mom.”

In the car, Mu Jinghang asked, “Third brother, we couldn’t find out what’s wrong with you. What should we do then?”

The atmosphere inside the car turned depressing because of this question. After some time, Jun Yexuan smiled and patted Qiao Qing’s head, “Maybe I’m already cured.”

Qiao Qing didn’t comment and instead, asked Jun Yexuan, “Before, when your illness came back, did you pay attention to your surroundings? Is there something around you that triggered your illness?”

Jun Yexuan thought about it and then shook his head, “I’ve never paid much attention to that. But before, when I got an attack, it was always at a different place.”

Qiao Qing nodded but her brows remained locked.

Mu Jinghang was curious, “Qingqing, why do you ask?”

Qiao Qing answered, “I need to find out what the trigger is and force an attack.”

Mu Jinghang, “???”

Qiao Qing continued, “He’s not displaying any symptoms right now so I cannot find out why he is sick. I can easily figure out why he is sick when he’s having an attack.”

Mu Jinghang followed up, “What if the next attack comprises his life?”

Qiao Qing was confident, “With me here, he won’t be in danger.”

Jun Yexuan’s heart was warm as he patted Qiao Qing’s hand, “If my illness really is the doing of my grandfather, then by denying the diplomatic marriage, he’s going to try something funny. We are in no rush to trigger my illness.”

Mu Jinghang said, “Third brother, you think Emperor Yin is going to hurt you over this?”
