Yin Lei was in shock. Without any energy, he collapsed against the back of his chair in a daze.

So he had underestimated that girl.

After some time, he brandished his hand, “You can leave.”

“Yes, sir.”

Beside him, Xu Mian asked, “Then Emperor Yin, should we make peace with the young master?”

“How can I achieve that?” Yin Lei glared at him, “We’ve already ripped each other’s faces off. He is aware that I was the one who cursed him with a venomous creature. You think he can forgive me for doing that?”

“I don’t dare to report a lie to you.” The guard said, “We are not aware of what happened. But I personally saw his corpse. It’s not just a rumor.”

Yin Lei, drowning in disbelief, started to walk, “Get me to the Xia mansion.”
